Best hotel in Basque Country. This place is amazing.

It was beautiful… the views alone made it worth the stay!

A beautiful place with views of the sea and the mountains, an unbeatable treatment. They have, for breakfast, a small but quality buffet and very complete. I am lactose intolerant and they made me a milkless apple pie that was delicious. Quite a detail.

Perfect! We went with a baby and got all the facilities in the world. Spacious room even with crib, unhelpful varied, large communal areas, quiet, nice. Lovely decor! Peace of mind guaranteed even with baby!

A small hotel but with a lot of charm. Located in the upper part of a hill (district of San Prudentzio), it enjoys a unique view of the sea and the vineyards of Txakolí. It is a 3-minute drive from Getaria.
The owners are nice, they explain the operation of everything. We arrived on a Friday night (with the reception already closed) and we were greeted with no problem. Breakfast is varied and very good.
If you want to eat or dine in the hotel, you can serve yourself the products they have in the kitchen: from typical dishes prepared that you just have to warm up, to ham, cheese or canned in the area. They also have typical beer and of course txakolí. At the hotel they sell their own txakolí bottled to €10 bottle.
They take care of the details: newspaper at each breakfast table, large bottle of mineral water in the room, comfortable beds, large terrace in the room, large and modern shower… They are only 6 rooms, which I find great because there is little noise and you have the feeling of having a personalized deal.
In short, a 2 star hotel that is well worth 4. Spacious and clean rooms. Highly recommended!

A stunning hotel in an awesome place. The hotel is carried by wonderful people who know how to take care of you. They take care of the smallest detail. You feel special, you feel loved and cared for. Hotel that I'm going to recommend without a doubt to everyone and to whom I hope to return at another time in my life.

Wonderful wedding location.

Lovely hotel with a sweet story, great views and comfortable beds. The family produces their own wine, which we enjoyed on a balcony with incredible views across vineyards and the ocean. Also great breakfast with homemade cakes that tasted divine. We were happy to return here after the hustle and bustle from San Sebastián.

The hotel is situated perfectly to enjoy all that Getaria has to offer. Hiking trails outside your door, views of vineyards and the sea from the rooms and the dining area… Take a 15 min walk down a portion of the Camino de Santiago to Getaria past stunning views of rolling hills, the town, the ocean, and vineyards or drive there in 5 minutes. You will pass vineyards on the way, and I highky recommend making some appointments to taste the local Txakoli wines with some of th…em and taking some Txakoli with you. Take the trails in the opposite direction and you can hike to nearby Zauratz or even farther. Views are equally spectacular in either direction. The two sisters that run the hotel are warm and welcoming. Ask about the wine they make, and their cousin's locally made gelato.

Amazing and beautiful place. Staff are very friendly and go that extra mile to help you. Place was very tidy, well maintained and filled with contemporary and modern decor. I would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent location, treatment second to none, friendly, attentive, super friendly. The view in the morning while you take the breakfast is zip. By putting a paste, because it is really hard to find, is that it does not have a restaurant. A site for return without a doubt.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean. The welcome is warm. Breakfast buffet (8 eur). However the dishes at the dinner are rather average (aim rather bars tapas of Getaria at 5 min by car). Room prices a bit high (110 eur + 25 eur for an extra 3rd bed in July).
Ideally located for visiting the basque coast and San Sebastian (25 min drive).

The only thing that I haven't liked has been that the industrial spoils the views from the hotel.

It is spectacular. Stunning views, share, sea, mountain, amongst the vineyards. Breakfast fantastic, everything homemade. Enjoy d all. Recommended 100/100.

A modern, family run and scenically located hotel with sea views in the rolling coastal hills of the Basque Country.

Worth stay for dinner any of the nights spent at the hotel. Almost all the dishes we ordered we loved it: boletus mushrooms, anchovies, tuna, and the desserts: basque cake (spectacular) and apple pie. The only one we found disappointing was the cheeks: too hard. It is a hotel without many pretensions, but that allows for a comfortable rest. Called attention to its exquisite décor and stunning views of the coast from Getaria, provided that you have a room on the appropriate side of the hotel. Room 8 that we had was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed; well, a hanger in the bathroom was missing. That's right: there was no air conditioning and that in the summer it can be a problem, because cold since then not passed. As to the breakfasts are great: there is not much variety, but excellent quality and, being a buffet, you don't stay hungry. I recommend trying a little of everything, because there is nothing wrong, on the contrary. In short, a superb relation quality-price, I recommend it with eyes closed.

Unfortunately this nice Hotel only at the end of our trip. A nice small clean Hotel with stunning views over the countryside and sea. Conclusion: TOP.

Hotel is surrounded by fields of kiwifruit with view on the Bay of Getaria; hospitality, cleanliness, breakfast is a treat. No complaints about this hotel everything is perfect…

My stay at the Hotel San Prudentzio was simply wonderful. The rooms are bright and fresh, the views of the vineyards and ocean are picture perfect, and the level of service was outstanding. Located a few minutes outside of the town of Getaria, the friendly owners have created a relaxing retreat that is an amazing value for your money. The hotel's details have been thoughtfully considered with beautiful decor, huge windows, relaxing music in the public areas, delicious homemade breakfasts, and a lovely deck looking out to the sea where you can enjoy a coffee or the hotel's own Txacoli, a crisp white wine made from grapes grown right on the property. This is definitely one of my all-time favorite hotel stays. Highly recommended.

A hotel with charm, spectacular views, a luxury dinner at reasonable prices and best of all, you will feel at home.

Very simple, very short letter but use magnificent raw materials and they have a great kitchen Basic. They know grilling and frying thing very well, not easy. As specialty, vegetables of the season, hake grilled, breaded fried hake and monkfish. Good desserts.
