New Samay Hostel Hostel

Very good location, very inexpensive and the reception attention (24h) is great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal place to get to know Seville in a few days!

Friendly staff, good place in the city, not the best, but good. Some good restaurants and fast foods on the street, a few grocery shops. Public transport just a few steps away. It's a good Hostel, if you want 5 stars, go somewhere else.

Strongly recommended! Friendly service, good facilities, close to downtown and a great space at the rooftop! Sure I´ll be back in the future.

Room had AC. Breakfast was decent for the 2.50€ it cost. Close to almost everything you could want.

Let me just start by saying that the only good thing about this hostel is that the staff are nice. I booked 2 beds in a 4 bed room as my boyfriend and I are traveling together. We travel frequently and have never once been split up into different rooms as long as one of us books 2 beds under one name. So we were pretty surprised when we got to the hostel and were told we were split up and that they would not be able to put us together. The frustrating part is that my room had a random extra bed. Yep 5 beds in a 4 bed room (see photo). On top of that there are no lockers to secure your bags in when you leave for the day but there are personal safes in the hall. You can bet money that most of them don’t work as one of the staff members tried 3 of them before he found a working one. Also there is no laundry or washer/dryer on the premises even though the posting says there is and our shower was gross (again please see photos). There was some old and broken drain cover leaning against the wall and no matter how low I set the water pressure water still ended up flooding the bathroom since there was no shower door. To top it off they claim that Wi-Fi is only available in the common room so no one will be on their phones at night but the reality is I stayed on the 3rd level and had at least 1-2 bars of Wi-Fi so it’s more like they are too cheap to get another router to boost the signal. I would not recommend staying here. Take your money elsewhere.

Backpacker's hostel. Very close to the most emblematic places of the city. The staff is very friendly and interesting to meet. They usually organize theme nights once a week. The problem is that there are not many plugs in the room for all the guests. The Internet connection signal from the rooms is very defective. Recommended experience.

Great location. Comfortable accommodation in all respects, spacious rooms, en-suite bathrooms, comfortable shared environments and a nice little terrace.

Very friendly staff at reception. Hostel has a good location and well-equipped kitchen.

The excuses that work are very nice and friendly but there is a bit of dirt in bathrooms, the blankets are fine (I had to sleep with three). If I come back it's because I have no choice.

Very competent and friendly workers and the perfect location.
However the room left a lot to be desired. Dust, dirt in furniture, spoiled windows that could not be closed well and bathroom unhygienic and with lights fused.
They should give him a arreglillo to make everything perfect.

The deal was very close, they advised us very well about the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem the smell of the mains (perhaps by the outside climate)

Frankly I was expecting a bit more… The breakfast is lousy and the rooms only have one electric plug… I don't mind being in a room with more people, but there should be lockers to put your valuables.

Good staff, lovely environment and fast Wi-Fi. I enjoyed sitting in the kitchen area and eating my meals. Definitely would recommend this place.

I passed 2 days and I was surprised about the kindness and hospitality of the staff. It's my first time when I meet so helpful people, so I recommend this hostel :-) hostel is very clean and there is a wonderful terasse on roof top! you will make a great experience, don't hesitate :-) special thank to Alex, Marcus, Edo and Pablo.

WORST HOSTEL EVER! After traveling for more than 2 years, and staying at more than 60 hostels, Samay Hostel is the worst one I've stayed at. I extended my stay for one day, and when got back to the room, I was surprised to see my bed made, and my towel (which was hung up on the bed) and all my personal belongings that were over it disappeared. I later discovered (just because I went searching, if it was for them I'd have lost it) that they've put my towel on their dirty sheet bag, even though it was completely different from the one they rent, but at least they could find it and returned to me. But all my stuff that was over the bed, including an important gift I was travelling with for more than one year (an always useful eye-mask), they said that could not be found. I complained, and what was their solution for it? Calling me a liar! That's how Samay Hostel treats their guests and handles our problems. If you have any problem there, then that's what they'll do, call you a liar and claim it's not the hostel's problem, even though it clearly was! I'll never have my stuff back again, as well as I'll never put my feet on Samay Hostel again, and suggest you all to do the same and find a better hostel when in Sevilla. Despite that, the Wi-Fi doesn't work inside the rooms, and people have to stay at the kitchen in order to use it. Only two chargers in a 8 person bedroom, as well as only one bathroom.

The price is fair and the location is good. Situated close to most tourist spots and the old down it was perfect for the one day and night we had in Seville. The facilities are run down the shower head was held together by tape and the rooms lacked safe storage. The number of plugs is limited. Great for young people looking to socialise on the terrace, which has a lively atmosphere.

The room was clean and the staff was very thoughtful. Socket is not easy to charge, no Wi-Fi signal in the room.

Just wanna drop a huge thanks to the staff at Samay! My stay was amazing! The staff creates an open and warm atmosphere for its guests. Each person that worked there offered something unique to the environment. Enrique makes you feel at home. Bruno makes sure your doing alright and are comfortable. Adita and Alba provide lots of humor and good spirit. Marcos is always delivering a big smile and can give you the in and outs! All together wonderful place!

This was probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! First of all, the rooms were super clean and the communal areas super cozy as well as welcoming. But what counts the most is how amazing the people working there have been — the staff always tried to help out wherever they could (e. G. Printing out my ticket for the Alhambra was no problem at all), they even made an effort to actually get to know their guests and bond with them. Initially, I was only planning on staying for three nights, but ended up extending my stay at Samay for another two nights. I think that says it all! Thank you so much, guys, for doing what you're doing! :)

The truth is that the only good thing the location, the cleanliness is not that it is bad esque not the vi, a bad smell in the rooms, the communal dining room left a lot to be desired, not to mention the Wi-Fi was only in reception and poor quality, the mattresses appeared to ironing tables, the staff was good, the truth esque for the price you can't ask for much, but the hygiene mejoraria quite.

Attention lousy on the part of the person that I atendío with an attitude of pimping and arrogant. Spare a seville in that reception is unable to show me more respect and hospitality. As teaching to such mammal the day starts at 00:00 until 23:59, 59" a reservation and request for entry of 03:00 to 04:00 is not the night of the previous day and there always has to be more response to you stay on the street and above don't return the money.

Loved this hostel! The staff was very nice and welcoming, and gave plenty of suggestions of places to go and see. I loved the nightly events on the terrace (with beautiful views) including free sangria night and cheap chupitos (shots) night! The room we stayed in (2 person room) was extremely large and well-decorated. We did have some toilet issues but the staff addressed them right away. The location was perfect — next to a supermarket so we could buy as much water as we needed (which was a lot), but also right near to all the restaurants and bars! Flamenco shows were also very close and set up through the hostel, so that was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

I traveled around the world and stayed so many different hostels but the Samay Hostel is the worst place in the world. The staffs were unfriendly and snobbish. Breakfast is so bad the staffs were eating their own food. And worst of all, they charged me for a second night when I did not stay. When I was checking in, I asked them about availability for a second night if I want to stay one more night. But I decided to stay only one night and told them a few hours later but they said I still have to pay for a second night since they already saved a room for me. I could not agree to that since I told them in a few hours but they still charged me without my authorization. Stay away from them if you don’t want to be double charged!

It's ok. Thin walls, terrible Wi-Fi, miserable mattresses — however the kitchen is good and the staff are super sweet.

I really enjoyed time here~^^ staffs are frendly and beautiful haha But, it was difficult for me to sleep in domitory room because some roommates go out when I fell asleep.

I did not know that this was part of the hostel the hostel where I was in Barcelona. When I found out I liked much more. Since it has the same qualities as the Yellow Feetup in Barcelona. Also I loved the terrace! =).

We've had great in Samay. The staff is super friendly. I loved the terrace and kitchen. The rooms are spacious and clean. Computers available 24 hours.

I can assure that I will return to Seville and I lodged in the same hostel, also we also remain pending to make tours in the evening with the guides of the hostel and the barbecue on the terrace with included bleeding. Great atmosphere, all very exciting.

T is one of my favorite hostels so far! The people in the reception were so friendly and helpful. They are organizing walking tours, pub tours and selling flamenco tickets and you can find any info about Seville in the hostel. It was very safe and warm place. It is on the one of the big streets in Seville and very close to the bus station and to the stop of airport buses. Definitely recommended.

Something more than zywkly hostel, for me it bvylo something on the shape of a holiday home, milo nicely, nicely furnished, good location. Come back for sure.

Apart from being in the centre, very very clean. Samay Seville gives you the chance of trying a bit of the Spanish culture. The dinners and the recomendations of the staff are just perfect. Best of Samay. The service and the price. It's just perfect.
