Friendly staff and the best place of all. Like the jacuzzi in the bathroom and comfortable sleeping space. Not to forget too neat and tidy. Will not for to chat about it to my friends.

Upon arriving we were welcomed by the friendly hostess Natasha, we were taken to our room and it was equipped perfectly for us as a family. The kids love the swimming pool and was swimming every afternoon during our stay. My kids loved the cats too. Breakfast was amazing every morning. I give our stay defnitely 5 out of 5. Will defnitely stay here when we come to George again. A gem of a place. Highly Recommended.

It was cold even when the air conditioner is set to heat. Check out time is 10:am which is not convenient if you have a meeting at 14:00, you need to take your bags with. There's no telephone service. The environment is relaxing, has a unique theme, breakfast is delicious.

My experiences with the French Lodge International Hotel ended at the gate though, but nethertheless I can highly recommend a stay there. Natasha (the lovely owner) helped me out in a very risky situation without a consideration. She didn`t care if I was a paying guest or not, just showed me a genuine smile and true commitment as I stranded in George for a few hours. That`s the vibe and the passion a true backpacker needs and I will never forget that. During a stay at the French Lodge International Hotel you can expect hosts who will work with complete dedication for their guests. I will keep this encounter in very good memory. We spent 4 nights there and it was INCREDIBLE! Our room was perfect with everything we needed plus unexpected extras such as a microwave. The staff are the friendliest we’ve found anywhere else and the breakfast is excellent! Can highly recommend French Lodge!

Friendly staff and caters to one's every need.

This was a enjoyable, friendly and very hospitable experience, despite this being our 1st time and last minute booking. Natasha and Fortune are always smiling and have no hesitation to helping with "extra" requests. The rooms were clean, everything worked and was set up for winter (cold) conditions. It was amazing and so fun.

This place is terrible I recieved such bad service on arrival from management! It is a complete waste of money there so much better places with better service out there! They really need to wake up I've never been treated more like a dog than ever and by the owner!

Know two folks who booked for Jan 3 and when they arrived, were offered a room different to what they had booked; they were then offered another room that took some time to prepare; they returned, post-preparation, only to be given yet another different room and when they wanted to confirm the room rate, were told to leave 'as we can get more money for the room'. So they left. That was the best part of their encounter with the Lodge. In a word, 'ce service est très mauvais'.

They rate themselves as 4 — star, I don't think they even deserve 1 star at all! Was very disappointed in the rooms, bed linen so old and ugly, not clean everywhere, not even a bar of soap! Breakfast room not presentable at all, first cup I picked up for coffee was dirty. Dirty on the floors, ugly lot of bottles with condiments, should I go on? No, I will not go back there, not nice at all!
