Always different, always amazing. A place you can visit over and over and every time find something new. A great place to teach kids about where there food comes from and how it gets to the table.

Wonderful experience walking around on a working farm with beautiful walkways and views. Make your first stop the bakery — the freshly baked pear and gorgonzola bread is to die for! And don't forget the clivia garden.

Most amazing oasis of organic vegetable gardens and fruit orchards. There is a cycad collection, clivia lily collection, succulent collection and unique examples of indigenous gardens. The tea garden is wow and the farm shop is inspiring.

Good for spending a day, well maintained orchard, they promote to eat their fruits fresh from trees. Its wheel chair accesible until certain parts. Good work guys,

We had an "OK" kind of experience though we felt it could've been better had we been served by the Randall whom seemed enthusiastic and informative. Unfortunately he was serving other tables near ours. Otherwise, the factory restaurant and the gardens was an amazing experience. I guess we'll return someday.

Had lunch at the Greenhouse restaurant. Did not wait too long, friendly service, beautiful scenery. Many pathways to walk so it never gets too crowded at one spot. Beautiful scenery all round, backdrop of the mountains was just breath taking! Did not get to the wine tasting on this trip so will definitely be back for that!

The wine tasting is reasonably priced at R35 for 5 wines. I liked that, unlike many wine estates, you can taste their signature wines (charged individually, over and above the tasting price). Service is very slow (based on two visits a few months apart). The glasses were smudged and needed a proper clean. The wines were easy drinking, but not exceptional. The sparkling wine had lovely, delicate bubbles and was worth paying extra to experience.

Completely in love with this place. The wine was sublime. The staff completely helpful and polite. The plates with cheese were maaaaaarvelous. I definitely recommend this place. I would totally go back there. One of my favourite wineries!

An amazing place! Anyone visiting the Cape Winelands should put this wonderful winery and farm on their itinerary. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful place. The garden house restaurant staff was super friendly and the food was superb. The plants, herbs, flowers and tortoises make this place a must visit.

Pizza was good. Sirlon not to be recommended. Playground for the kids is good.

Great wine tasting at Babylon Storen. Professional service, gourmet food and great wine. Everything is prepared on the premises, fresh bread, juices, teas, pastries, deli, salads.

An awesome little estate to explore witch lots of little sections like the cactus maze and the human sized weaver bird nests.

Had to pay an entrance fee to get in for a wine tasting which you also had to pay for… when did entrance fees become a thing? Service was great as were the wines.

The venue is amazing, the farm stall, garden amongst others were 5 stars by far. The only disappointment was the! Wine tasting, Glass room was great, wine was good too. Our waiter Steven, however, was unattentIve and seemed constantly distracted. His explanations of the wine were rushed and we did not get a chance to ask questions. We ordered a platter which was great, but was not the one we ordered. We were three and he kept forgetting to pour for one. This experience ruined a 5 star rating.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The architecture of the tasting room is aesthetically pleasing, complimented with a stunning view of the vineyards and mountains. Wine tasting reasonably priced @ R30 for 5 wines, or R50 for a cellar tour, including wine tasting.

This place is amazing. You can spend the whole day here walking through the garden and have lunch at the restaurant. The food is rustic elegant and burst with flavour at the same time. Knowing that the produce came from the garden makes it so much more special.

The BEST day. Took my sister here on a recent trip to the Cape and realise that they deserve every raging review and compliment. Fantastic food, inspirational gardens, delicious home-made drinks, spectacular tasting room and wines. It was an incredible day out.

Wow. One of the best meals we have had this trip, and that is saying a lot as South Africa is a foodie destination. They bring fresh bread, oils and watermelon pieces to start. I had the Red Starter (baked aubergine terrine with fresh fruits and veggies) my husband had the Lamb cutlets spicy herb sauce and roasted veg). The views are gorgeous between the mountains, the garden and the vineyards. What an experience, even just walking through the gardens stimulates your senses with the aromas of countless vegetables and fruits. Be sure you set aside a few hours for a visit… next time I'm booking a spa treatment!

Beautiful vegetable garden and Botanical Garden. Restaurant (greenhouse) very nice (nice and good single) … do not miss if vou're in the neighborhood (worth even a drive…).

Very cool place. Well worth the drive out from Cape Town. However, check the weather first, it gets very hot out there! Gardens are beautiful. The cafe is nice and chilled with a unique selection of local and seasonal fruits and veg. All their homemade juices and cordials are really good and particularly refreshing in the summer heat.

This is a garden like no other! You can wonder around an array of gardens. Fruit trees every where. And vegetables planted of all kinds. It is a real treat! The berry garden is our favourite! When you are hungry go to there garden cafe and have one of their freshly squized juices — they are devine. And their sandwiches are amazing. You can spend a whole day here relaxing!

A wonderful tour through the gardens. These little gems are few and far between. A wonder way to spend the afternoon.

Overrated and overpriced. Eat before you go — no seating available over weekends. Magnificent gardens!

Incredibly beautiful wine estate, farm, and luxury hotel. Walking around the gardens was very relaxing. Lunch inside the greenhouse was delicious and a memorable experience. A meal at Babel is something to book far in advance.

One of my greatest experiences. I loved a day surrounded in the most beautiful vegetable garden I could ever imagine. The stylish layout was most impressive. Lying in the cool camomile field was so peaceful. Fresh salad and crisp white wine in the glasshouse beautiful.

Will be back, when I can get a booking at Babel ;-) Amazing garden walk and great, fresh food at the Glasshouse Restaurant. Imke was a delight during the cellar tour.

Fantastic outing, we did the garden walk, cellar tour and lunch at the Glasshouse. Special and different to all other wine estates. Salad freshness can't be beaten as all grown in the massive gardens.

Tried to get a booking in the Restaurant for a Company incentive a week in advance, was put on the waiting list dependent on how many people stay in their Hotel. They did not get back to me, had to follow up myself to hear that they are fully booked! And they added. It's peak season, so from now onwards nobody will be able to get a booking in the Restaurant. I think they should put this on their website or take the Restaurant off as a place to eat out if you're not a Hotel guest.

Amazing. Beautiful. A must see. Winter is great but summer is even better.
