Our first visit to this beautiful estate. From the minute we drove to the entrance to entering the Bistro we were greeted with the friendliest employers.
We had lunch which was great. As it's normal that you cant please everyone we must applaud the Chef. We must however say that the dessert was nothing special.
. All in all I can highly recommend this estate.
You cant ho wrong. Thanks for your friendliness and kindness. We will be back.

I enjoyed the detailed wine tasting experience but was dissapointed that I could not just enjoy a glass of wine and a bit of a snack with my wine. I was told that I could buy a bottle and take it to the restaurant next door and PAY CORKAGE on it and go and order some sort of snack with it. Come on guys! Make a plan and get a bit customercentric! How do you get to pay corkage when you are on the farm that grows amd makes the stuff?!

A superbly relaxing venue that offers food, wine tastings and spa treatments. Situated within the urban city limits near a highway, it's easy to find and there's massive traffic jam to get there. Staff are polite and super helpful. To be fair, it's never going to be cheap for this kind of luxury, but it's worth it to treat yourself once in a while.

A visit to this estate should definitely be on your to-do list if you are in Cape Town. This is by far one of the vineyards in Cape Town and it has an unbeatable classy look and feel and wine tasting experience. It is a cosy, intimate place which is great for a romantic outing and to unwind after a busy week. Add some fish to the wine experience and you have a winner.

A beautiful place to visit and the food is outstanding. There are wine tastings available. Menu is a but pricey but the food is worth it. Don't miss the resident black piggy who is very fat and friendly.

Steenberg Vineyards will remain a special place in my heart not only because of absolutely wonderful scenery, architecture, modern and sleek design, amazing wines and food, but especially because of the warm and kind people that welcome you like a member of their family.

Very nice wine tasting area with a very modern design. Good for a big group or small. Good selection of wines available for tasting to enjoy with the lovely views.

Tapas concept with local ingredients works so well! Delicious menu makes it a challenge to limit choice and the setting is amazing.

Fantastic place with an interesting history, great wines and very fair prizes for the wine tasting as well as dinner. Service could have been a bit more friendly, and there seems to be 'a situation' between the wine-tasting and the restaurant. However, still 5 starts for the magical place!

Cape Town southern suburbs are not exactly known for great wine farms, so imagine my surprise when I visited this majestically beautiful place to see for my upcoming wedding. To say that this place is beautiful is an understatement. The hotel is beautifully designed, modern, but with a hint of colonial. The restaurant is modern, open plan and very accommodating and helpful with regards to our requests for our dinner. We did some wine tasting, which is located on the premises, yet somehow a separate entity frm the hotel and restaurant. The design of the distillery and accompanying restaurant is modern, chic and VERY impressive. The wines in their Platinum range are REALLY good, sweet, bold and a great finish. I cannot wait to spend my great event at this venue! HIGHLY recommended!

Steenberg although surrounded by an array of smart modern houses as well as a golf course sits at the top of the hill and as you drive up a rather modern warehouse type of building set among the vines meets the eye.
As you walk through vast modern doors to a large atrium and central bar the stunning decor with floor to ceiling glass allows a glance into the winery itself and beyond into the Bistro with wine tasting lounge beside it.
Looking further outside beyond a smart terrace to a shallow garden pond in concrete and stone appointed with horses heads on either side beside a large well kempt English garden which slopes gently up with plenty of foliage and lawn… the mountains beyond perfect the backdrop.
The exquiste good taste of Steenberg is reflected in its food service and wines.
The bistro offers an eclectic choice of modern cuisine with a twist all their own.
Lunch was a delicious combination of bread and olives gnocchi with flaked salmon and a glass of sparkling pinot noir.
I could happily do this everyday! Your senses are aware they are being pampered by the combination of glorious food heavenly wines and a setting that is bespoke.
Needles to say the service was outstanding.

We love this place! Best wines, best food at The Bistro! Wine tasting is wonderful, people are friendly and well enlightened about their wines! Being a member of their wine club is the best as you get free wine tasting when you are there and you get a once off wine and cheese pairing in a private area!
