I had my wedding at the venue last year September 2019, everything was well organised and the set up was beautiful.

After my first wedding venue cancelled, we found Sacred Mountain Lodge. What an absolute blessing it was to have come to work with Samantha and her team. In only three days they managed to plan my wedding and it was stunning and an absolute success. Any issues that came up during the celebration Samantha sorted out without my knowledge and only let me know about them later. Sacred Mountain Lodge bent over backwards to ensure my day as a memorable dream come true. I highly recommend this venue!

Absolutely beautiful wedding venue, with amazing service.

They went up to the bride at 9 pm on her wedding night and told her music to be shut off or she must pay R50k… After they all discussed music to be turned down in volume after 11pm. Disgusting… Bride was in tears.

I had my sister's surprise wedding at the Sacred Mountain Lodge over the weekend and I can honestly say with my whole heart the day was a huge success due to Samantha and her team. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the food was AMAZING. Nothing we needed/requested was ever too much for Samantha. She went out of her way to ensure that we were happy. This is truly a hidden gem.

I just left this beautiful place. Very peaceful, cosy and private.

Samantha recently hosted my special 50th birthday breakfast & WOW, what a huge succcess it was! The food was scrumptious and the venue was so beautiful and serene that we did not want to leave. Samantha & her team were so professional & accommodating to my every request. Thank you for making this milestone birthday a truly unforgettable one.

As a local the venue is sold as peace and tranquility… however the noise the comes from Sacred Mountain is a general disturbance in the area. Please bear the neighbours in mind when booking this venue.

Wonderful staff, cottages, breakfast. Beautiful peaceful nature setting just a stone throw from Cape Town.

We booked this venue for a group basically for the entire premises for a period of almost 3 weeks. Whilst the staff were very friendly, I (as a business owner) found it VERY strange that the owner of the establishment went on holiday herself for most of this period (peak holiday season in South Africa)! Not only that but when they returned it was with visitors and they made full use of the facilities as if it was their private home! This I found most unprofessional as we basically had to share a limited space with the owners private guests and dogs who were quite invasive. When we asked for umbrellas and pool chairs we were told that the owner had take them camping and there were nothing for guests :-O. We had to ask a few times for the pool to be cleaned of leaves so that we could swim. We also had to ask numerous times for the Wi-Fi to be reset as we could not access Wi-Fi. Considering the drought situation in the Western Cape at the moment I was amazed that other than an A4 paper there was no effort to educate guests as to the water shortages. We had to ask for a bucket for the shower and Im not convinced that water was used appropriately. Whilst we are animal lovers and I have no issue with dogs at the premises, these 3 dogs were not well controlled. The one dog had a serious eye infection and in sympathy with the dog we had to ask them to clean the eye repeatedly.

What a beutiful venue. My son and new daughter's wedding was absolutely flawlessly wonderfull. Thanks to Sam and her hubby who are welcoming hosts that made our family and friends feel at home.

I liked the property and the cleaning staff was very polite. But was not fond of what I thought is the owner. She first scolded me for allowing her dog to sit on the furniture. I was not aware she was not allowed on furniture as I was not informed. And then I was accused of feeding the dog. If you don't want the dogs around your clients, put them at the back.

I have had the privilege to stay at Sacred Mountain Lodge a few times and every single time I leave with a grin on my face.
The rooms are beautiful, the staff so wonderfully friendly and helpful and the owners, Samantha and Shaun, go out of their way to be hospitable.
Not only is their B&B lovely, but this last weekend I used Sacred Mountain as a venue for my wedding. I would suggest this venue to anyone, as again, Samantha was amazingly on the ball and the actual day was something out of my dreams! It was relaxing and absolutely gorgeous! Everything I possibly needed or wanted was arranged.
Thank you Samantha for your super-human hard work in the lead up to the wedding and especially on the day! As discussed, you will definitely be seeing us again soon!

Had a really lovely stay in Oak Tree Cottage at Sacred Mointain Lodge. Very friendly owner and staff, great breakfast. Lovely tranquil place to unwind and relax. Highly recomended!

We have had the absolute honour of attending a 3rd wedding at Sacred Mountain Lodge Mountain lodge this weekend. 3 years in a row… and each experience better than the other. Great venue. Great service. Great food and serves an equally great breakfast!
