I love this place, have been here for from 11/12, checking out 14/01… home away from home… From Guards, Reception, House keeping, Maintance, Restaurant… Great people Pleasant and warm welcoming atmosphere.

The restaurant has terrible service. No one pays attention to you, my drinks order was taken while I was dishing up at the buffet.

Restaurant is really bad, no services. Whe n they do serve you you get the incorrect order. Food really not up to standard chips is socking in the oil.

Frozen precooked chicken served cold. The heated in micro with my chips that came out horrible. Meat still cold on the bone. Worst ever meal!

Guys bitterly disappointed considering I parted ways with +-1480. I walked in the carpets where dirty ignored it, went to the besroom, why don't we rather refer to the place as a bnb because it is so basic that even bnb around klersdorp looks upmarket. Would I go back, not with the way the place looks. Its disappointing your front line staff, I am not angry just disappointed that the Marriott can place its name with klersdorp Marriott because based on the standard we have seen this one is not good at all. The bed was very comfortable thank you and the sheets were clean. The bathroom, is a nightmare.

I was there for a Sentinel meeting and I found the staff at the gate very friendly and helpful hall and chairs clean!

Only positive remark I can make is the staff is friendly.

Customer service excellent but hotel is in need of a upgrade and the restaurant is absolutely not of Protea standard.

You have to see it to believe it very nice an noise free plus its romantic with a touch of a whole family atmosphere.

The hotel is old and in need of a upgrade… The restaurant on site… Not recommended at all. Service at check in very good. Room service you can not add to the bill you must pay inmediatly… Really don't recommend this hotel at all. If you used to Protea Hotel standards this one should not be part of the group. Booking via Procard was more expensive than the room rate as a walk in client. This to me is poor taste… Cleanliness of room excellent… That's a positive.

The bathroom to the deluxe room we got was VERY small, its door is impossible to close quietly when someone else is sleeping and the flushing sound from the toilet was waaay to loud. The waitress was rather unfriendly, the food was cold and the receptionist guy printed a wrong invoice for me even though I had confirmed my address to him and given him my prokard. Very disappointing.

Protea Hotel Klersburp is a convenient place for meeting and events. The have enough halls for all events and can accommodate a large number of people. Their prices are also moderate as compared to other hotels. Their parking are more safe and specious. The place is ventilated, clean and neat. I recommend for people who want moderate and exciting place for meeting and other events to go there to confirm for themselves.

It's the 2nd time I'm staying there, nothing much has changed but your shower heads need work pls, the water was not coming out evenly and it makes it difficult to shower. Fridges in the rooms are also a must especially if one is carrying perishable things and snacks for kids.

Great value for money rooms. Clean with towels and soaps as well as coffee/tea in the room. Lovely restaurant on the premises with very tasty food and good service. Great to overnight.

The rooms were satisfactory and the staff really go out of their way for you. They are very friendly and helpful. Had n nice stay there. You could do something about the restaurant though looks like the school hostel.

The establishment is clean and well-kept, the service good and friendly. I would just love to see their chairs cleaned for a change.

Staff is always friendly and the breakfast at the adjacent restaurant is excellent. However the rooms need some slight maintenance and it can become a bit noisy from the road nearby. Not a bad place to stay but you can get a better deal at one of the upscale guest houses / lodges for less.
