I recently had the privilege of staying at The Blue Crane Villa and words cannot describe what an amazing experience my 10 day stay was. From the minute you step in through the front door, you are wowed by the pure opulence of the Villa and the beautiful views of the dam and the beautiful Magaliesburg Mountains. The luxurious, beautifully appointed bedrooms with a full en-suite bathrooms are a true delight and the attention to detail is amazing. With the turn down of the beds each evening to the decadent Lindt chocolate on your pillow, bedtime was always something to look forward too. Breakfast each morning was an absolute indulgence, which was beautifully set up each morning in the Villas dining room with food served fit for a King and then ended off with a spoil of canapes, strawberries and whipped cream and Ferro Roche chocolates. The facilities on offer, sparkling pool, Jacuzzi, honesty bar, TV room and pool table were a welcomed bonus and once through the front doors of the opulent Villa, one didn't want to venture out again. After a truly amazing wedding. My husband booked us into the Blue Crane Villa for 3 nights for our honeymoon!. When we arrived we received an incredible welcome and a honeymoon surprise in our suite which my husband and the beautiful host and owner, Gerda organised! The attention to detail from the honeymoon breakfast table to the room turn down at night left us speechless. Gerda, Olga and Gerdas friend Lee made us feel incredible as newly weds and like old friends. The view breathtaking, the company spectacular and food delicious. We will be back as soon as we can! The blue crane villa is located in a gated area with wildlife and overlooking the lake. Gerda is the perfect host and ensures theres nothing left to desire. We had a great stay here and look forward to be back.

Worth the 45min drive. The staff, the place & the facilities are all very pleasant. We are already planning a return trip.
