Convenient, clean and well equipped. Restaurant and bar prices are ridiculous though, hence the 4 star rating.

Rooms are clean, staff efficient-most of the time they great me by my name before I even introduce myself… thats how much they value clients and even know their constant clients.

Poor service, okay dinner and terrible breakfast. We also had a breakfast function with 23 guests that was supposed to start at 08h00 — they were still setting up at 08h15. Guests who arrived at 07h30 had no tea and had to sit around until after 08h00 to get some food and drinks. Skip this hotel!

I enjoyed my staying at Nelspruit Protea Hotel. The room was clean friendly staff but can you improve on your dinner. The standard has dropped compered to other Protea Hotels.

A very pleasant hotel that seems primarily aimed at business travellers in the area. A bit difficult to find, but pretty nice. There's a pleasant and coolly lit pool, but its hours are pretty restrictive. The only thing that I actually had a problem with was their wi fi policy. They only give you 50MB with your room by default, which seems CRAZY low to me. After working some charm on the people at the front desk, they gave me a voucher for 500MB more, which I still ran out of by the time I was checking out the next day. Thanks for the bonus data though!

Always a pleasure to visit the establishment. BUT please consider take away coffee as we enjoy your hospitality and run late from taking breakfast.

Sightly hard to find but convenient location; provided food as a platinum member because the didn't have free options.

Standard Protea design and facilities. Rooms well attended to and restuarant alacart or buffet and breakfast good quality. Bar lunches also Good. Conference facility available. Only complaint is that rooms facing N4 can pick up noise from road.

Great Hotel personnel always there to assist Go overboard in making sure you have the best service.

Good customer service. They need to hire more waiters for the dining area. Having one waiter for everyone in the dining hall is just not on. I hate the display they have in the room. They have pictures all around the TV. How am I supposed to watch my TV with all the pictures clouding my brain. I don't think they took into consideration the fact that there are people with OCD and these pictures will unsettle them.

Cosy place, has swimming pool, can bring family, serve buffey has car rental, wine and dine, concerencd room, credit card and cash facility.

Friendly staff, efficiency and clean surrounding both inside and out. Beautiful garden. The can improve signage to the hotel from the road to be visible some 5 km both ways.

Complacent staff. Low sense of urgency. Staff has no problems wasting your time — they think they are doing you favours by you staying here. Poor conference equipment. Very average food. Coffee is stale.

Good location to access Pretoria cbd. Great breakfast and rooms.

The hotel is lovely. Better than some of protea hotels I have been too. There is a personal touch attached to their service. Which is amazing.

Godd breakfast as always. When there was noise coming from a night club closeby, they were able to change my room. Staff was warm and welcoming.

Its good and I always enjoyed the food one thing though that I would like to suggest. Can you have a coffee machine and take away cups for your guests who leave too early. It's nice go out but still enjoy a cup of coffee on the road especially when it's cold.

Rooms are a good size. Food is great. The only down for me is that it is right next to a busy road and you can hear the traffic. Other than that, it is a great place to stay!

The Rooms are really out dated. The showers are tiny and not very clean. There is nothing to do at this hotel. The rooms are very expensive for what you get.

The Wi-Fi is bad. Actually nonexistent. Very disappointing in this day and age.

Bathroom towels need to be changed they are old. One is new the other old. Toilet paper not soft. Bathrooms satisfactory. Beds need to be replaced. The rest is fine.

The rooms are beautiful and staff is friendly but the food is horrible especially buffet dinner it's the second time this year I used the hotel and on both occasions the buffet dinner was a huge dissappointment.

Extremely bad experience. Since new ownership everything changed. No service ar dinner, dirty plates no cutlery! At 20:00 they ran out of meat soft drinks and water! Breakfast even worse! Waiters have no idea what to do! We left dinner one night without having received our drinks. Do not stay here! Lots of other better and cheaper hotels in Nelspruit!

The hotel is perfect as a 3-star hotel, just not worthy of their 4-star grading in my estimation. Noise from children on jumping castle upon arrival as jumping castle situated right at my room window. Toilet runs after flushing. Nobody shows you to your room. Extremely small shower. In my mind it is accommodation, nothing more and nothing less. Yet the Protea name gave me some assurance of security, and basic standards being met so I would likely choose it again. Less likely to be disappointed if approaching it as a 3-star graded resort instead of the 4-star grading it has somehow attained.

Rooms are big and clean. Problem I had was access card failed to open the door 19 out 20 tries. Breakfast pack was so small it was suitable for kids. The humps are damaging the cars and should be reduced.

Great venue, but with only 500MB free data via Wi-Fi, it was a bit hard to get any work done.

This hotel has a Budget car rental service as well, staff members are always friendly and the general appearance of this hotel is good. I always recommend friends and family here.

Awesome hotel, lovely staff and great service. I had a problem with my booking when I arrived and was sorted out in under 20 minutes. The buffet food is amazing, rooms are clean and tidy, room service is awesome and great facilities. Really cosy and comfy and would recommend this hotel 4 business purposes anytime.

This place was good but I found a bug in my food and I got attacked by ants.

It's a nice place to spend a night at. What cracked me was their signage that said something about them not having a gym and that one can feel free to run up and down the stairs. Lol.
