On the day of arrival and for a good part of the second day, we did not have hot water, had to take a cold shower, no communication or apologies (A simple sorry, we are currently experiencing geyser issues would have sufficed). The Wi-Fi connection wasn't working in my room and they did not have fitted sheets. Not worth it.

Pretty average hotel. Staff are friendly. Rooms are comfortable. Maybe a little bit too expensive for what you get. The diner is weak. Far to expensive for the quality and quantity of food served.

Not a pleasant stay at all. The smell in room were terrible, clearly the room didn't get proper fresh air. Later on I wanted to see what was written in the file concerning dinner and I found this under the file, still sticky. One receptionist very friendly, students not friendly at all. Will not go there again.

Good price and good service… perfect for an overnight stay.

Spent four nights in Richard's Bay at the Bayshore. Neat basic rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast, Splendid stay:)

This was a very, very nice stay, staff very friendly and helpful, close to Beach, lively, clean. Room's every day, awesome food at restaurant on site, treating their guests with coffee in room, kettle, dryer, phone, fridge, depending on your room of choice. I will definitely visit them again. My Granddaughter enjoyed swimming in the pool so Much and the staff treated her like a princess she made me promised that we have to visit, her staff again, with love from Chloe.

Splendid Inn still the best out of all Richatds bay accommodation.

For excellent customer service, clean & cool rooms and great meals at budget prices look no further. I spend a month at the Bayshore and experienced the fresh and opulent buffet breakfast that will satisfy all dietary requirements, tasty & succulent dinner dishes and friendliest, helpful customer service.

It a nice place, staff is friendly and close to the beach but be careful not to leave your Windows open in your rooms. They have cats problems and no notices stating such.

Rooms are musty and the air conditioning is old and does not cool down the entire room. Be prepared for a long, uncomfortable night's sleep in the Richards Bay heat.

The maid stole the money from the purse during the cleaning. With all this purse lying in jeans, she did not even bother to put it the same side. Complained to reception, promised to understand, this is all over.

I will start with the most important negative fact: The only night I stayed at the hotel I got robbed by someone who got in to the room most probably by the window, left open before by the cleaning staff and not closed by me afterwards. Two debit cards were copied and used the next day, fortunately no money taken of my wallet. To add on above, my assistant agent told me that on the same room one night before, a laptop stolen from a guy. On the other hand, hotel and price are disent. Services good but absence of Wi-Fi at room only present at the lobby but with low speed. Clean carpets towels bedsits but absence of handle at the toilet door. You can't close the door. Very polite hotel staff.

Great place to chill, very welcoming staff especially a guy called ''Nkosi'' but I'd suggest the hotel do something about the moisture in the rooms floor.

Average hotel. Good food. Good housekeeping. Free Wi-Fi but not in the lobby and not the rooms.
