Nicole I just want to say THANK YOU! My wedding was stunning. The food was Delicious, the staff friendly and you were so hands on! I LOVED everything, especially the amazing decor and flowers. My bouquet and arch were AMAZING and looked exactly like the pictures I sent you and what I asked for! The table settings were done to perfection You are SO TALENTED! THANK YOU! A magical place, A real slice of paradise! So peaceful and relaxing.
We had a wonderful family getaway. The lodge is so beautifully done and the staff and owners are so welcoming and friendly.
Just can't get over this place and the fab time that we had.
Since we got back home, the kids can't stop talking about going back so we will be back soon no doubt ❤️

An amazing, versatile Port Edward location. We hired a kayak from them, and found the service friendly, flexible and affordable. They had the most beautiful views of the river, and a very confident resident horse.

Booked in on July 2018 had bad leak in room and was offered a 2 night upgrade to honeymoon suite which really appealed to my 8yr old didn't take the first night upon requesting 2nd night the owner became downright rude when requesting Bill to book out he apologized and gave the room spoiled what was a nice break with my 2 boys big ups to Sindiswe and Cayla super nice ladies but for Cindy and my boy I would have left won't return though.

Was ok went 2 a pre wedding braai. Wine selection very disappointing.

The place is to die for and the service I got was excellent from booking Kayla was wonderful and Sindi was excellent always serving us with a smile. I would definitely recommend it to everyone I know. It's peAceful and great place to gateway and have fun.

Paradise. Breath taking, stunning, majestic and magical tropical paradise We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you so much to ALL the staff for being so friendly, kind and taking fantastic care of us! We felt right at home. The water activities were the cherry on top and just made our holiday so fun! My favorite was being able to take in every little bit of nature on the stand up paddle boards at a chilled pace. Can't wait to be back!

Tropical paradise. With a private beach. Reasonably priced watersports including jetski and wake boarding.

Nice clean accomodation off the beaten track. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food served was affirdable and delicious.

Da place is so beautiful we loved our stay only if they could add lunch and dinner menus.

Beautiful wedding venue. Unfortunately the beach wedding was interrupted by rain, the venue was more than well equipped to adapt and all still had a great time.

Well what can I say… we had THE most perfect wedding thanks to this beautiful venue and their amazing owners and staff. Hayley and Sarah were fantastic at communicating with me leading up to the day (I arranged the wedding from the UK) and the coordination on the weekend of the wedding was faultless. Nothing was a problem and the team went out of their way to build some extra decorative bits I wanted for the venue. My maid of honour also lost her luggage on the flight out to SA and Nicole the owner was kind enough to lend her some clothes for her son. The venue itself has so many areas to use that we spent three days there with our family and no area other than the reception/breakfast room was used twice! They have a covered deck area that we used for a braai on Friday and would be perfect for the wedding should the weather not be great. We however choose the river beach for the ceremony and then had our canapés on the lawn under the welcome shade of the beautiful palm trees. The reception room once decorated had the most amazing rustic charm and the sofas were a great addition to the dinner and dance area. We added a photo booth to the pool bar and then used this area on the Sunday for a big family lunch. The honeymoon suite with the separate make up room is perfect for a bride's needs and all of my family loved the other rooms, of which there are 8 on site.
