Awesome facilities for family entertainment, just love it, coolest place ever.

Would definitely recommend. All staff are friendly, they all greet when walking by and the zipline staff deserve a bonus they are so nice and took so many photos and videos, can see they enjoy what they do and working with people. Will be back!

Terrible, horrific, saw things I wish I could forget. Three stars? not even one… Do not recommend. Could be a great place if management was better as well as security, services and if staff was friendlier, only friendly person I met here was a young man named Marius and his sister. Otherwise I was quite shocked by staff members, especially a water slide manager named Mandla who screamed at paying customers for no reason and refused them entry to what they had payed for. Very unhappy.

Pros : staff are very friendly and helpful.

Old fashioned pub was great Cons:
Very outdated 2 bedroom cottages
Restaurant was so outdated and dark
Entire grounds needs to be landscaped.
Alot of areas with no grass
Pool empty Suggestions:
Unless a huge revamp is fine this resort will not last.

Where do I start.
The accommodation was very nice and the best part of this resort is the Hydro Spa. Excellent staff and service. And that's where the nice end. No no no maintenance at this resort
Gardens very neflected and areas aroynd accommodation does not exist.
Pools are drained but not properly cleaned. Several children and adult slipped on either steps or inside hot pools, including myself!
Only 2 deck chairs alongside the hot pools, realy!
Lounge suite and sleeper couch need a good vacuum and cleaning
And last but not least, a rat shated our accommodation! We battled for more than 5 years to get a booking through timeshare but will not go there again.

Very rude hotel Manager. Does not speak to clients with respect. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Rather sleep in Vryheid if you have meetings in Dumbe.

This weekend is my anniversary weekend. This place supposed to have hot springs. Turns out only I pool was hot and the rest not. They don't even know what the temperatures suppose to be like. Anyway that was a disaster. Plus the hydro pool was not work which was another boo boo. Plus to top it all the Wi-Fi was not working. But, on the brite side of things, the pool that was hot was awesome. The Jacuzzis were awesome too. We had a good weekend away which could have been better.

We found everything very clean and neat and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

The hot springs are delightful. You can sit in them all day. A night spot to complete get away.

I enjoyed my stay. Please just add heating system to the rooms in winter. Was a bit chilly at night. But either than that clean, good service. Beautiful place.

Tranquility and relaxing atmosphere. So much to do but so little time. Always enjoy Natal Spa. Friendly staff and very helpful.

Unfortunately, for me, there where many, many things that needed improvement. — The hotel rooms are big and spacious, but the bathrooms are very dark and dated.
— There was live, bare copper wiring in the room we stayed in let me tell you with a toddler in tow, that’s very worrying.
— TV choice was limited and signal was poor. …
— No Wi-Fi.
— The area’s where food was served smelt severely of stale cooking oil which is most off putting, and we came out sticking of oil anytime we where in the dinning room or the bistro near reception.
— The dinning room has the most beautiful piece of natural rocked built into a wall with a grand display, which is meant to have historical paintings or writing on, with time it hasn’t been cared after so the ancient writings have gone.
— The food wasn’t great and again, everything smelt like oil.
— The dinning room itself is stuck in 1970’s (as much of the hotel is). The table clothes and furniture was often stained, unclean, uncomfortable and was extremely dated.
— There was a bird sanctuary that had many beautiful birds in, unfortunately there was a member of staff who wasn’t doing their job properly and there where many, dead birds in the sanctuary. They’d had not clean water and no food for days. Management was alerted.
— Nighttime was very cold in the rooms which no extra blankets to put on the bed — unless you asked for them. I feel like place was once great.

Staff is very friendly. The selfcatering units for 4 people is small and a bit pricey for what you get. The spa staff is amazing. The paintball area is very cool, you just need to book well in advance to ensure the staff is sufficiently prepared. Beautiful place.

This resort has a lot of potential. It is located in a beautiful setting next to a river and has stunning gardens with hot swimming pools. Most of the staff are very friendly and try to be helpful, but the service is generally quite slow and not up to standard. The buildings are very old and can do with a face lift. The furniture in the Kingfisher chalet was sub standard. The kitchen was equipped with the bare minimum and cheap utensils. The beds are either very old or very cheap and very uncomfortable, not anywhere near resort standard. The advertised Wi-Fi was not working, I complained about that, and were told in a very cheeky way that "it has not been working for a long time since the lighting took it out" (I almost felt bad for asking a stupid question). The gardens are neglected in places, there are weeds growing aprox. 1 meter high within view from the main terrace at the bar area. Dinner at the restaurant was a total disaster, the food was tasteless and prepared incorrectly. It is a real pity that a resort with such great potential is in such a poor state. Management should take responsibility and address these issues, as the support staff are generally very friendly and willing to assist, but there seems to be no direction from the top to improve things.

Nice place to visit for a week or so. Camping sites are very clean and nice. Hotel itself shows it's age at some of the facilities are starting to crack up especially at the hot swimming pool. Prices are quite reasonable and there's lots to do for both young and old. We experienced petty theft at the campsite, but that can happen anywhere. Management is clearly trying to save money as not all the ablution blocks are serviced regularly during off peak season, but the blocks its cells are quite nice. The buffet breakfast and dinner is quite dull, and most of the food is dry. Variety of is also not great 890 per head it's not worth it. I'll visit again.

Was a lovely vacation with lots of swimming pools, waterslides. They had free pony rides, great kiddies entertainment. Buffet dinner was amazing catering for every taste. Camping stands are very big. Newly renovated bathrooms. Put put for the family to enjoy.

My kids loved the pools/slides, the water is very clean. Unfortunately there's no customer service at the reception. The self catering chalet is too small to cater for 4 pple. Please educate the pple at the reception to ask the guests which room they prefer e. G. Shower or bath tub, up or downstairs. I had to change rooms to one with a shower when I realised that the one I was allocated had a small bath tub. The housekeeping staff are very friendly including the groundsmen. The self catering chalets have no airconsthey give u the inventory list to check what u got basically it's your word against theirsNo Wi-Fi.

They do not make it convenient for their visitors it is very hectic. They're toilets are very bad. It is flooded with water and it has spiders in it. There are no umbrellas catered. The hot pools aren't hot. The parking is muddy and not paved nor well kept. The slides are very expensive R50 per person. They do not cater shelter for sensitive people. But there is a beautiful scenery and there is a small cute waterfall coming down a huge rock. It is beautiful. This costs R200.

A very relaxing resort. A get away you will never forget. Love it and will visit again.

Old Fashioned, rooms are neat though, staff is friendly, Buffet Breakfast is great, Facilities not bad — a lot of them but not all in great shape. Air-con in rooms need some checking. Hot pool in Spa is the only one worth going to if you want really hot water.

Poor service. Facilities unkept. Here a month ago and notified a manager who assured me it was just after a busy season… now that im back absolutely nothing has changed. Stayed at the camping site. They cut the lawn early in the morning (supposed to find peace and quiet on a getaway? ). I requested they dont cut around our area however after a walk I returned to find cut lawn all over our things. Cold shower water. Tennis courts a wreck. So much potential but the management needs to really step up.

My stay was not ideal. I am almost 8 months pregnant and was expected to carry my own bags up 3 flights of stairs as there are no porters. The bath tub in my room had terrible brown stains and the shower glass was extremely dirty. The cups and glasses in the room itself were disgustingly dirty as well.

Natal Spa is particularly enjoyable for young children. The swimming pool is child friendly with a water slide into the pool. The hotel and facilities are clean and tidy and generally well kept. The natural hot springs are a delight and help sooth and rejuvenate body and soul.

We are currently staying at Natal Spa. Christmas day was a bit hectic. They were definitely short staffed hence POOR service. Overall it is NOT TOO bad! I would really like to mention the Entertainment manager, Nicole. She really tries her best to accommodate everybody. No matter what the task, she is willing to assist. The kids enjoy the hotel. For a once off visit … its worth a try! Personally I think a week is too long!

The resort is now 70 years old but still has an immaculate location. Stunning roman baths and spa. The hotel is in a fair condition. For families request the self catering chalets. Its spacious and recently refurbished. Pro Tip: Remember that the super tube is not open during the week except for school holidays. If these tips helped you, please hit the like button.

Visited for 3 nights. The pool at the top was dirty, had a coke tin in it for 3 days. I was tempted to remove it, but would not get into the dirty pool. The hot pool at the bottom was being filled, but the cold pool at the bottom was also dirty with food floating in it. There are huge boards reflecting all the rules, but the rules don't seem to be enforced. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and so were the staff at the restaurant. Loved the indoor pool. Enjoyed our stay.

Had an amazing holiday here. Kids alsi enjoyed the available activities.

Clean, the good was great and the staff specially at the dining room were very polite and readily available. I would love to spend my time for leisure in future.
