The food was great, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the bill didn't make a dent in my wallet. A big thanks to the staff for their friendly, welcoming attitude. It was our first visit to the Mill but we were treated like we were regulars.

The most amazing lunch ever. Friendly service with great sense of humour. Food was tasty and scrummilicious. Definitely a place to visit again and again.

Have been coming here for years. Have not been since lockdown 2020. New management but old staff that know what they doing good food. Waterfall while you eat… So ja nice indeed! Thanks for a great afternoon.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and an interesting variety of food. I was impressed with the cardomum and chickpea stew — a lovely vegetarian option.

A delicious evening out the night before a very special wedding. Food was great, drinks were flowing and the staff were able to keep everybody happy. Fair prices and lovely location.

Rustic, authentic, fireplaces and great food and beer. Gracious servings. Variety. Perhaps the best is the ambience and the surroundings. Fantastic views and off course a waterfall too. Dining is within the restaurant and adjacent to the restaurant and on the lawn too. Refreshing, crisp and cool! Burgers are great! Good value too.

A lovely venue. The food wasn't plated the best but it was really delicious. Would definitely recommend the oxtail or the lamb. The staff were really accommodating and the service was great.

A little bit of Midlands magic. Built near river it's beautiful scenery is wonderful to the eye. Its an antimate space for the whole family to enjoy. You do feel a sense of being out of town. The pace is relaxed and the food quality good. It's a definite must try.

Exquisite setting, especially when the river is in full force. Just note that they do not serve food throughout the day. The kitchen closes between breakfast and lunch, but they still do coffees during the down times. Attentive and friendly service.

Ambience and food and service excellent — and all this with the water rushing by and history present in the old stone wall.

We had a warm & friendly greeting from the Staff, with a really delicious meal, well recommended by the staff and the crepe brûlée was warm & absolutely delicious. Compliments to the Chef. Excellent service, loved the location and ambience. A different great menu. We will be back.

Wonderful country atmosphere, with alfresco or indoor dining options available. Enjoy the sound and views of the waterfall from the deck. On occasion great selection of music gigs as well.

Nice position and pretty waterfall but nothing extraordinary at all. One positive which is typical of the Midlands is the quality and quantity of the children's meals!

Delicious meal (oxtail and T-bone steak), stunning view of the waterfall from our table on the patio. The creme brule was cold (I'm used to warm), but still nice, ice cream was good. Seem to be slightly more expensive than some of the other restaurants in the area. Will go back if in the area again. It was a quiet evening in early January when we visited.

Lovely setting but staff very inflexible and what used to be a lovely place to stop for tea and scones is now a pre book-only set up. Lunch and dinner are both good alternatives but breakfast — be there at dawn as they close breakfast orders at 10 and won’t even make you a slice of toast thereafter. Therefore a very disappointing visit.

This is a nice place, we travel to SA a lot and have visited on a number of occasions.
Very reasonably priced, especially for us British tourists. The exchange rate is very favourable at the moment.
The food is really good, with a good selection of dishes. Their steaks are amazing, according to my girlfriend, I'm almost a veggie, but she knows about meat and is obviously quite discerning (she chose me! ). They even had some interesting beer there. Not the usual SA lagers, even though they are available too.
There are some great photo opportunities out the front of the restaurant area, with a very nice, natural water feature. You can also sit and watch the beautiful Weaver birds defying gravity on their cleverly engineered nests.
All in all, a lovely place for lunch. I've not been at night, but I'm sure that's lovely also.

Food was great. Service was quick and efficient. Better to visit for lunch on a clear day. The deck seating overlooks the waterfall and stream.

Great food. Live music by mill sessions. The owners are amazing and down to earth music lovers. The staff are happy and cheerful everyone I'm there.

Totally horrible experience​. Walk in at 12.20 and was shown to a table. Then told to wait until their meeting was over. Waited for 20 minutes and not even a drink was offered. Their meeting was just them sitting around laughing. Ended up walking out-absolutely ridiculous. Ended up going to La Lampara just down the road which is excellent.

This little " cottage mill " is a very nice place to be With relaxing scenery and lots of activities to do and what's all around you in this town to shop and eat at some fine diners, it's impossible to get bored.

Cosy setting with hearty, homemade cuisine. Overlooking the old quarry adds to the charm of this rustic environment.

Sat down for a late lunch to be told the kitchen closed an hour earlier. However, the table next to us had hamburgers served. Obviously not big on keeping the customer happy.

A beautiful scenic spot, place for kids to explore and food that appealed to the tastes of adults and children.
