We loved it so much we returned… a few time over… beautiful breakfast… fantastic spa in room treatments… and gracious delish dinners… the views… the coffee. The ambience… an old dame. Gracious and gorgeous.

My experience was truly amazing.
Food and service was absolutely on point Beautiful sea views and fresh bedding, Guest services also very help and knowledgeable about the Area etc Just the scones had abit to much baking powder otherwise pleasant stay.

Horrified with our experience. A drunk patron was verbally assaulting other guests and threatening to pull out his gun around our children. No manager on duty and took over an hour to get him to leave. Was very scary for our family that our safety was not of any concern. To top it off there was Rubbish lying on the verandah and it took half an hour to get our bottle of wine. Never going back!

Having stayed in one of the junior suites, my hubby and I can fully say that this is such a perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Everything is impeccably styled, the rooms are gorgeous and so comfortable, and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

This has become my go-to place. I'm from Durban but I absolutely enjoy being at The Beverly Hills Hotel. I was there for my birthday in September and it was amazing. The staff is so warm and friendly yet professional, my room had rose petals, balloons, hand written birthday card with well wishes, a slice of delicious chocolate cake and champagne. The attention to detail was beautiful, I was treated like a Queen throughout my stay. I was back this weekend for and Wow! Shisanyama and champagne with an ocean view, what more could you ask for. It is truly world class, best hotel in Africa. Thank you.

I’ve been going to Umhlanga for close on thirty five years and in the last ten years been taking my kids. I’ve stayed all over and for some reason gave Beverly Hills a miss as I didn’t think it was child friendly. What an amazing stay and experience. My kids absolutely loved every minute of it and we had the most relaxing holiday ever. From the GM John to Lawrence running Breakfast, Bongi with the kids activities and the list goes on. Well done to the whole team for making our stay so special and treating us like royalty. You have secured a guest for life…

What a beautiful presentation of a Vintage an Very Morden expression. The open plan is beautiful bar and pool area very unique and naturally expressed. Amazing view. Its not just for the rich but for tge classy ones. Put your money where your values speak. Beverly Hills is best.

Very warm welcome received from all staff. We had our breakfast meeting here and will do it again most definitely. Great coffee warm breakfast with stunning views to sit and enjoy the entire day inside or outside at the swimming pool.

What an incredible hotel! Under the leadership of John, the level of excellence with which the service, food and complimentary gifts/activities are delivered is far beyond any of its peer hotels. We arrived early on our first day, and were going to meet some family at a nearby hotel for breakfast, but when John welcomed us upon arrival he insisted that we have a complimentary breakfast with our family at the Beverley Hills. We love the personal touch and attention to detail at this classic, elegant and charming hotel… that is why we keep coming back, and will continue to support this place where magical moments and memories are created. Thank you John for your outstanding example… you inspire many who have the privilege of meeting you.

This is for their restaurants. I have not stayed at the hotel. 3 Stars for the Sugar Club. Service was poor and the piano was played too loudly, otherwise food was decent and that atmosphere was pleasant. 5 Stars for Elements. Service was outstanding and the food was great, it also has one of the best locations/atmosphere. Pricing is very reasonable for what you get and the fact that it's a "fancy" restaurant.

Most amazing high tea. Delicious spread of delightful dainties. Excellent service always treated like royalty at the Beverley hills hotel. Polite and pleasant staff. Wow!

Helpful staff. Food (toasted sandwiches) overpriced for what you get. Lounge was beautiful and would have been even more enjoyable if the 10 am vacuum cleaner noise could have been done at a different time. Could not talk over the din.

Had a magnificent stay. Friendly housekeeping staff constantly check on you to see if all expectations have been met and if you're comfortable. Just had an issue with The Sugar Club restaurant as they made it seem as though you have to be 'somebody' to be treated as well. In any case, elements café on the lower level serves some of the best food I have ever tasted in my lifetime and is sure not to disappoint. Just hope you get the right waiter because our waitress left our deserts on the pass and served us half melted ice cream and sorbets.

Still want to come back. Breaks the bank but worth it to feel like royalty for a day.

Hi, had lunch at the Sugar Club and the chef Shane Naidoo, made us a veg Thai curry. Delicious. Our custom made our meal which was not on the lunch menu was much appreciated. Thank you chef, for such excellent service and the deliciously sumptuous meal. Great job Chef Shane Naidoo.

One would expect better service from a fancy hotel like this. We went to have breakfast, the variety of choice is great and the food was good. You have to request for toast from a waiter I finished eating and only after requesting toast for a second time it arrived. By this time my wife's meal was cold. So disappointing.

I Recommend to all our compatriots-tourists or businessmen to visit this hotel. Enjoy its African atmosphere, admire the sunset in the Indian ocean… and eat seafood… Especially oysters. The Best In Our company nobody tried anywhere, neither in Moscow, nor in France, nor in other countries…

After a round trip we had booked the 3-day accommodation at the end and to get back down. It was the pampering program pure. From the lovely, friendly welcome with a glass of sparkling wine or an ice cream by the stalk by the pool. The breakfast was very varied and the dishes in the evening tasted very tasty. The staff were very friendly and outgoing. You could just feel comfortable.

I felt the hospitality team to be fantastic, the hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable with gorgeous views and great facilities. The high tea was absolutely gorgeous and it was a wonderful experience, the tea was perfect while the food was delicious and it was enjoyed by various age groups ranging from a toddler to an elderly woman. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I thought the service was excellent, from the time we checked in until we checked out. The special request for my wife’s birthday was on point. It blew her away as she was not expecting it. The breakfast was delicious and the service was spot on, I really liked Lawrence who constantly checked if we were ok. Siya next to the pool also made us feel special. Although it was our first time, we will certainly be back.

I love and full of enthusiastic when I enter Beverly Hill welcoming was so great I felt like a queen. In white gown and sleepers in the room. Remember when it was sunny I called the reception to asked to be served breakfast in the balcony to my surprise in a minute, the nock I jumped opened the door oh my God where does this Angels comes from in snow white with the balcony relax chairs and covered with snow white. I just amazed distressed harmony in my life immediately asked God for forgiveness in all the sins known and unknown that I have been committed and those who trespass against us. Therefore will never forget the days when I enjoyed there and people must be there in order to feel how great is Goď. And while you sleep the sound of the sea. Doors opened throughout day and night and the romantic artmosphere. Guys we have our Dubai. Join us in Beverly Hill bye meet you there don't delay dont regreat.

I lie here today quite unable to move, partly because I seriously over ate at your delicious breakfast buffet (the pickled fish and herring was amazing) and still didn't even make it to the hot breakfast options, as I was so much happier with the food I was eating this morning compared to the disappointment of last night's meal. But, I digress and will return to that later. The other reason I am unable to move is that I had a poolside massage yesterday afternoon. Now, I love a firm hard massage and asked for it that way, but my masseuse yesterday seemed to think that rubbing as much oil as possible into my bones (not my muscles mind you, my bones) was from chapter 1 of ‘the art of relaxation'. Chapter 2 included searing my skin with volcanic stones from the very depths of hell itself. After begging for mercy she eased up somewhat and I was able to make it out alive. I'm still wondering what possessed me to tip her for inflicting me with such pain. Today my bruising is blue n yellow n brown and I look somewhat like a washed out tie-dye Tshirt.
Anyway… onto dinner. I quite enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, but the food was terribly disappointing. I couldn't find a starter that looked appetizing enough to try so we decided to move along to mains and have dessert. We ordered a lovely Pinot Noir (which really should have been a few degrees cooler which was quickly rectified by a 10 minute plunge in an ice bucket much to Jeremiahs surprise).

The staff refused to provide an umbrella when asked and made the women walk in the rain. While other guests were provided an umbrella. Additionally, the gaurds will favour you if you have a nice car and let you use the many parking spaces available. While average cars are asked to park else where.

Beautiful setting on the Indian ocean. Accommodations were clean and modern, and the food was outstanding.

Beverley Hills breakfast buffet is excellent. Not only is the spread superb but the food quality is good. Whats more impressive than the food is the service! Watching the waves crash whilst sitting on the terrace with scrumptious pancakes is a great start to the day.

What a lovely stay! From the time that you arrive, till the time you leave — it is a wonderful experience. The suite that we stayed in was impeccable. The restaurant was also excellent. Service was amazing and everyone was very helpful.

My husband preposed to me in this hotel and spent our honeymoon nyt here. Both food and service was excellent. Only disapointment was the bathroom. Very small. Nd nt very modern.

If they added valet parking. I would rate it 5 star! Food is the best I've tasted from any other hotel. Simply amazing.

Went there for breakfast with hotel guests from Johannesburg over the Easter weekend. The breakfast for R250 was too disgusting for words one fried egg swimming in oil, two rashes of bacon, one fried tomato. The waiter forgot to take a guests order. All the other guests food was cold and my meal came 10mins later. A hotel like this shouldn't make these kind of mistakes especially at these price. Anyway I think this hotel is over rated.
