Excellent location. We enjoy Sunday breakfast overlooking the valley. Amazing views and good service.

Lovely place to stay with kids. Friendly staff. Lots of activities available.

Game drive was excellent. My toddler thoroughly enjoyed the reptile park and we had a sumptuous lunch at the restaurant. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend a visit!

We have always loved Phe Zulu, the staff are ALWAYS happy and welcoming. They are absolutely amazing with kids and so well informed. We had our sons 8th birthday party at Phe Zulu and the game drive was a massive hit with all the kids. I highly recommend anyone looking Phe Zulu to anyone looking so a fun family adventure. Not many places where you can hold a croc or a snake… Keep up the amazing work ❤️

What a beautiful place. The game drive was superb and the view from the restaurant is amazing. I highly recommend PheZulu. There's something for everyone.

I was so disappointed when I booked for my daughter birthday! The inconsistency in communication was shocking. After confirming my booking and sending a POP I had no response, I had to send various emails before they could respond. When they did a new person was allocated to assist me and she had no idea about my booking yet she replied on the same email address I used to send the POP. On the day of the party which was booked for 13:00-15:00, the platters arrived exactly 15:00 o’clock! What a disappointment!

Not impressed. Restaurant does not cater for the amount of people that come through the park. Go on a game drive no snacks avaliable to buy. Get back no seating at the restaurant. Staff not very friendly… especially when u have kids food and snacks should be avaliable.

Wow what an amazing Sunday Afternoon experience. Stopped at Phezulu Safari Park for something to eat. What a treat we ordered a crocodile burger and a basket made to order. The view was spectacular, service on point… Even though the demand was probably unexpected. What a welcome surprise to see Locals out and about. All COVID 19 protocols were strictly adhered to. Staff were amazing thankyou to our server Nokubonga what a delight under pressure. Would definitely recommend a Lazy Sunday supporting an amazing Local Attraction. Spectacular views. And great food, service and ambiance.

Such a stunning place. The staff are all so warm and welcoming. The game drive with Nicholas is definitely a must — he is so friendly and makes the game drive so fun and informative.

The staff were lovely — Nkosi was our tour guide through the reptile park, and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. When my son tripped and skinned his knee, the staff were quick to administer first aid and took excellent care of us. Patrick was our guide through the Zulu dance and culture show, which was truly eye opening, entertaining and very enjoyable. Lunch at the restaurant was served by Mpumi — she was excellent, as was the food. The bunny chow was top notch! Xavier was our guide for the safari tour, and he took us right to where the animals were hiding. He was full of fascinating information, and was very friendly and informative. I would recommend this experience. It was not commercialized, but very authentic and informative. Well done!

Celebrated my birthday this weekend at Phezulu Safari Park. The most amazing experience I have ever had. From the most adorable rondavel with the best view anyone could ever ask more to tasting Zulu beer for the first time, such friendly staff and seeing such amazing animals on the safari drive. Most magical time… I really did enjoy my stay.

A special place for locals and foreigners alike! The restaurant is worth a visit and they serve the best chicken strips ever! Highly recommend this lovely spot right on our doorstep!

A huge thanks to Tristan and his team who did an outstanding party setup for my daughter's birthday party this past weekend. Everyone of all ages had so much fun and thoroughly enjoyed the reptile tour. The food was excellent too!

We stayed in the family room which was wonderful and relaxing with a jacuzzi and sauna in our bathroom. The Zulu dancing experience was really good and very friendly and informal. We saw giraffes, zebra and plenty of buck on our safari ride as well. The lodge is not far from Hillcrest which has several large different shopping centres with plenty of choices for food. I definitely recommend this venue for a weekend away.

Nice preservation and sharing of Zulu culture. Trip into game reserve was awesome — — saw many zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, kudu. Nice gift shop and cafe too! We had not enough time to see the crocs, but felt our visit was more than complete! I have some awesome pics, but this site will not allow me to post them!

We went for the game drive, it was awesome. Fun and saw. Lots close up. People said it was even better than the game drive in lost city.

What an experience. A true feel of the Zulu culture and world. Travellers and tourists a must to experience. The little 4X4 drive is a view no photo/video can express — there is no justice in the pictures. Fantastic.

We opted for Zulu dancing and cultural experience and tour of the crocodile and snake park. I really enjoyed spending time with the reptiles, they have alligators and nile crocodiles, and the crocodiles are very large. If you are lucky enough, you come on their feeding day, which is once a month. This is perfect for kids, they are given a chance to hold a snake and baby alligator. The cultural experience part of the park, could do with some improvement, I think it might be okay for foreign nationals but if you're a local, you won't be very impressed.

Wonderful surrounds, staff, lodge accommodation is definitely value for money in service and amenities. Their chalets are great for a personal or family get away. Undisturbed by the hustle and bustle of city life. Magnificent and clean pool area. All round great experience :)

Myself & my husband stayed over at Phezulu this week and what a pleasure to book and stay over! We really enjoyed… We received great service from the moment I made an booking. Thank you to Debbie for all the efficient email replies, going the extra mile in making my husbands birthday stay special. We really enjoyed the Safari ride as well. The restaurant food was lovely and fresh although I do feel the restaurant area needs some TLC and renovating.
We will definitely be back in the future… :-)

The place really needs some attention especially the restaurant. The food wasn't up to standard and the lady behind the counter could do with some customer service skills. As for the dancer's, they lacked energy and enthusiasm. They had no facial expression at all. They seemed tired and bored yet we were there just after lunch.

Me and hubby's 2nd time around, but this time we bought our grown up kids with to share in this incredible experience of Zulu dancing, Zulu culture, personal encounters with snakes and alligators at the reptile park, the breathtaking views of the 1000 Hills and a delicious meal at the Boma Restaurant! A Big Thank You 2 all the staff, dancers, waiters, reptile rangers, ect for your warm hospitality! You are All Awesome!

Highly recommend the Park for one to kick back, relax and savour the tranquil settings and game drive where one gets up close to Giraffe, Impala, Blessbok, Zebra, Wildebeest, Kudu, also an abundance of birdlife, including raptors.
Was very impressed with the reptile park where an educational display on snakes and other reptiles is enlightening. A well stocked curio shop for one to purchase a piece of memrobillia with an African theme and then burgers and cuppachinos at the restaurant ended a perfect day.
