Thank you Joehan, Milan, Elaine and team for making our Valentine's dinner, bed and breakfast an experience to always remember! The meals were out of this world, delicious with a taste explosion in every bite. The room beautifully romantic and attention to the smallest detail with everyone on the staff being very friendly and helpful. Truly a night to remember.

A very authentic experience and something different if you want to go out of the box and enjoy something traditionally different.

As you enter the premises, you are greated by a majestic Villa — architectural wonder. With ample parking. Ps there is a dedicated entrance and a dedicated exit at the other side of the parking lot. Main entrance to the showroom and rooftop cafe. Left entrance is to the exquisite guesthouse. One floor up from reception take your time to browse though a wonderful showroom with exotic pots, colourfull fabrics, pewter Taps, pewter basins and a variety of gorgeous lamps. And Tajine (to mention a few) all handpicked and imported by the owners. Going up to the top floor — stairs only access — The rooftop cafe is a breath of fresh air that captures a feeling of exclusivity. The subtle music in the background takes you to a Bazaar deep in Morocco. Every attention to detail regarding decor hand placed by the owner. Now the food. Drinks menu included are soft drinks and wine, no spirits. Now the tailor made juices are made from a secret blend of exotic fruits with tantalizing aromas namely the juice “ Moroccan Preroria Tap water “ definitely try it out. The Tajines prepared with either lamb, chicken or beef are wildly exotic and tease your taste buds. The use of flamboyant spices enhances the taste. You can ask for added spice to “hot up the meal “. All meals served out of and on to hand crafted glazed pottery. Side plates edged with pewter.

We had the loveliest experience. Venue decor is gorgeous, and so cosy. The food was incredible in presentation, auality and spicing. Definitely a must visit.

The place has amazing food and great Service. It really feel like you are in morroco from the second you walk into the gate. Its literrally like you steeped into morroco like a little get away. Its the best exaperience ever. If you are looking for an exsperience magical night this is the place you want to be. I enjoyed my time there it was beautiful.

Came here on a whim and was blown away! The food was absolutely delicious and left us wanting to return immediately, so that we could taste EVERYTHING. The food is extremely well priced and you certainly get more than enough to eat. A total gem and well worth the visit.

I really liked the food the service and the drinks that place is just incredible I had a great time having a brunch there.

After having driven past Moroccan House for years to finally actually turning in and seeing what it has to offer, I really thing it checks the box as a truly hidden gem. Styled, decorated and an interesting layout leaves you with the feeling of an actual visit to Morocco, something you may well consider after tour visit. Moroccan house offers a guest house and resturant as well as a shop stocked with everything Moroccan. The venue ban host functions, catered for by the in house chef. Enquire with when booking about combination options. The resturant offers an authentic taste of Morocco, and has been awarded annually for it since 2015… well at least the awards that were on display. I strongly recommend the platter options for couples or groups of four, for a really social eat out.

An incredible place which I highly recommend. Very vibrantly decorated in true Moroccan style — you won’t be disappointed. There are about 4 different levels including a rooftop area with a Delhi. Indoor and outdoor seating. I believe there is also a function venue so if you feel like you over partied you can book into their guest house. Complimentary olives with your drinks. I just ordered a starter platter which was really good and my husband ordered a Couscous Lamb dish which he enjoyed. Only downer for me was that the cocktail menu was non existent with just 2 options. Service was good but not excellent.

Best moroccan food ever. Tasty, beautifully presented. We ordered the lamb tagine, chicken tagine and Moroccan lamb wrap. Just amazing. Please also order the Moroccan magic juice. And for dessert the decadent Moroccan pastry tower with chai latte coffee. Fabulous!

Wonderful place! It's an amazing little cove where you can experience real Moroccan culture. You'll forget that you are n Pretoria when you dine on the rooftop restaurant.

Wow you are made feel welcome from the minute you step in. The staff is friendly and vibrant. The food was devine. And the inhouse shop is awesome.

Stunning decor and exquisite food. 10 out of 10 for presentation.

I was disappointed went there for a work function and had to pay R250. On arrival one free drink. Then each table got a platter with little flat bread which you could put a filling in. There were fillings on the plate and a few pieces fruit etc. A little late we got another platter this time with small kebabs on and then a cup of what was meant to be cheese cake. And finally tea not normal tea. At the start there was a belly dancer. I feel we were overcharged, but apart from that it was a lovely function. I don't think I will go again.

Beautiful, intimate and colourful space that creates a romantic, sultry atmosphere the staff were super friendly and professional. Am definitely coming back and would recommend it to anyone.

I booked the SAFI suite for a romantic getaway close to home, and boy did they deliver. From excuisite decor to the friendly staff and excellent meals, it was the perfect place to ask my partner to marry me, we were made to feel absolutely special. All the staff made sure we felt at home and did an amazing job to keep the athmosphere just right for our special evening. We will be back and would recommend Moroccan House to any couple needing a quick romantic break.

I celebrated my birthday with lunch at Moroccan House. It was exactly perfect — the reservation process, food, service, attention, education (we now all drink mint tea) and ambiance. Thank you to everyone — it was really special.

We visited the Roof Top Café. The food was interesting and delicious. The coffee was good too. It was a wonder to step off a street in Pretoria into the ambulance of another world.

I was agawk, perusing through the most beautiful furniture and Moroccan tapestries for sale. The food is on a whole different level. To the discerning palette, its pure ambrosia!
