Every one is very helpful and friendly! Will certainly stay again we just stayed overnight for connecting flight! Schedule to airport every hour on the hour they will ask and you can also confirm with Office! When coming from overseas with late arrival the driver was at airport waiting by information to collect all 10 of use to take back to lodge 5 couples from different country’s! It’s was a packed bus!

Clean rooms, good restaurant, friendly people!

Really friendly restaurant staff and guys who operate the free shuttle service to and from Joburg airport. Extremely clean comfortable rooms. Great food. Pretty gardens and great swimming pool. Love returning to this Lodge.

Located in a bad area, driving to it is the first warning and enough to make you think twice about it. On arrival, it was nothing like the pictures we had seen on booking. Com and we were not at all happy with the accommodation provided. The furniture was old and dirty, the room not clean, and certainly not up to the standard we are used to. We cancelled to find alternate accommodation as we refused to stay in this place, however they are refusing to refund us although our booking was paid for at the beginning of the year. A place for people with lower expectations as to where they lay their heads. We do NOT recommend it.

They pick you up from the airport and it’s a little haven. Basic rooms but perfect for a layover. You can hear aircraft taking off but at least it means it’s close to the airport, they also drop you back off to the airport if you want and it’s included in the very reasonable price.

The rooms are nice 24/hour bar.

People at this lodge treat black people like they don't exist, they forever complaining and they only take white people serious. I thought we were one and I thought we were equal. I wasted my money for nonsesnse

Small but elegant, horizontally spread, neat and clean set-up. Food is good but not recommended for pure vegetarians. Hotel service is excellent, on line booking & response is good. Very near to Tambo int. Airport.

I think this place is home from home. Everyone here is very helpful and do everything they can to make you feel welcome and the food is excellent. I thoroughly recommend you come and stay here and I’ll be back the next time I come to SA.

The place is nice and it is taken care of. The service is more than correct. We were in room 1 and it was spacious and nice although little adapted to winter, bad insulators and only an electric heater as a stove.
Breakfast was simple but correct. The worst thing is the noise of the planes from 5am, it is what has to be so close to the airport.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful place. Feels so free. No dinner after 9 pm but bar and tea coffee counter are open and they are self service. Well equipped rooms and had a refreshing stay. Smooth pick up service and good breakfast. Looking forward to staying there upon return.

This place is excellent for arriving and departing from the airport. The restaurant was good for dinner our room was spacious the shower was hot but the room was so cold. The airconditoning didn't heat. There was a heater but it was freezing and so it struggled to warm the space. Suggest electric blankets on the beds for additional comfort.

Great place close to the airport, however the Wi-Fi is crappy unless your near the recreational area. I had to constantly go out side my room to use my phone and tablet. I appreciate the 24-hour FREE tea and Honesty Bar. Wish there would have been more vegetarian options for dinner. But other than that, very friendly staff and I loved my cabin.

Just arrived to this guest house an first impressions was omg… beautiful… fresh… relaxing… private… lovely staff very helpful an polite… would recommend to anyone to come an stay here.

Top an oasis in the big city.

Our stay here was very short but the room was very comfy and the shuttle service driver was super friendly. Its close to the airport and has a beautiful garden and swimming pool.

This is truly a little oasis near the airport. While you can definitely hear the airplanes overhead the grounds are beautiful and the staff excellent. They make you feel like family. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. It has a nice size pool and places to relax outside. While the restaurant doesn’t have an extensive selection each meal is excellently prepared and delicious. Prices are very reasonable and after a long day it is great to be able to have dinner right here rather than having to go out. I highly recommend it and will come back for sure. Thank you Aero!

Food fantastic room deco bit old but a very nice place to stay over before a long flight. Shuttle very good as well, friendly and did not have to wait long to be picked up. Very safe and clean.

Beautiful room. Very friendly staff and always willing to help wherever possible. They have beautiful gardens to relax and a lovely clean pool to cool down.

Awesome guest house a few minutes from the airport. The free airport shuttle is definitely a great help. Staff are super helpful and we were made to feel at home. This would be a great lodge for almost any trip (work, family) since they cater for various needs. Supper was really good too — they have a braai.

Very neat and cozy place, stayed here for just one night, but it was really lovely, will definitely go back.

Lodge near the airport. Rooms are a bit dim. No aircondition only fans. Fridge and kettle in superior rooms. Airport is 10 minutes away. Breakfast is filling. Dinner menu and quality are good. Landing and taking off aeroplanes are noisy at night.

A quiet place near the international airport of lohanesburgo, they have shuttle service to the airport, it is ideal to stay the night and leave the next day to the airport.

Pretty much what you'd expect from an airport motel. Breakfast was pretty bad, but the staff were helpful and nice.

We were only at Aero Guest Lodge for a night but we really enjoyed our stay. They offered complimentary shuttle drive to and from the airport since they are located only 10 min away. The area may not be too safe for tourist but the lodge is gated which allowed us to feel really safe during our stay. We would definitely go back if we ever visit Joburg again.

Friendly kickback and enjoy the grounds. O R Tambo airport is nearby so yes you will get acquainted with the planes taking off and landing but this is the compromise if you are on a stopover. The staff are very friendly and will make you feel at home. Food menu is limited but what there is cooked to a high standard I thoroughly recommend the fillet steak it was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. They also run a free shuttle service to and from the airport and also excursions etc that you book. I cannot comment on the area as we were only staying the one night but sitting at the pool having a drink the outside world dissappeared. All in all a most enjoyable stay.

Such a lovely place and the staff are great will definitely be where I stay when overnighting in Joburg, more so now that I found out the owner is a Warwickshire lad-weehey! Keep it up!

Nice decent quiet place a few restaraunts near by also a macdonalds just walking distance away for the mac d lovers.

For an overnight stay a decent place to stay. Rooms simple rather than fancy. Good breakfast.

Perfect for stay overnight. Friendly staff and nice bar&barbecue. Time to enjoy the swimming pool and sun bath while waiting for another flight. Very near airport.

The lodge is located in kempton Park, not far from the airport, is the sig, therefore, the location very good for first/last Night/after the flight. For more but not. The environment invites to go out, that means the whole time is the well-secured grounds of the hotel. This is well-maintained and there is ample Parking. The rooms are functional, the beds clean, the bathrooms are a bit aged and with traces of usage. There is a Restaurant in the hotel. The food was ok. There is an honesty bar, is the drinks in a list of his room and pays at the end. It was quite pleasant. The Breakfast is included and was ok. The shuttle to and from the airport works perfectly. Conclusion: for a night and the price you can.

Nice small intimate lodge with Free breakfast, Free Shuttle. I had a room with 3 beds, called Family room. They provide great tours of S. Africa as well. If you take a tour with Aero Lodge, please ask for Mtembe Ishmael.

We both started and ended our adventure in South Africa and Namibia at the Aero Guest Lodge. We only expected it to be a short non-eventful visit in between our flights, but it was a positive surprise. We took the night tour to Johannesburg and Soweto that they offer, which was our possibility to also see the city itself. A really interesting tour I must say. The staff was really friendly, the rooms clean and with all necessities and the breakfast was really nice. If we retur…n to Johannesburg we will probably try to stay here again. / Jesper, The Biveros Effect.

Great location, very close to airport. Free airport shuttle. Large clean room with very nice bathroom/shower. Very good food with beer/wine at on site restaurant. Helpful staff. Very nice grounds/pool area. Makes for a perfect place for an overnight between flights.
