Unfortunately I am the bearer of bad news, and to be honest, I am sorry to share this. But as the customer service gurus say, if you don't say what is wrong, the provider don't know what to work on… This place definitely has potential to be great, but may need better maintenance and improved proficiency in what is offered to customers. — My wife and me shared a room, there were no rails for our office clothes. The hangers were at the bottom of the closet, but no rails. — The shower doors were stucked and loose. — It seems the drain was partially blocked; the shower floor filled up and so did the toilet (at times) when flushed. — We attended a national launch of a NPC at this venue and honestly speaking, they are currently not up to the challenge hosting events: — — The items they quoted for were querried by their front desk on the day of the event. — — The catering was not privided as requested by the request for quotation. — — The catering was provided late on the last day, so late that most of the delegates already left to catch flights by the time lunch arrived. — — The person in charge of the catering acted rudely towards some of the delegates, to be more specific, towards one of the NPCs Board members. — — Setup of the venue started in a disaster when the chairs and tables still had to be hired and delivered on the morning of the event. — — The shuttle service to and from the airport did not live up to expectation. A list of commutors, flightimes and a pick-up time for all were provided, and still some commuters were left behind. The communal areas (i. E. Restaurant) is somewhat to the shabby side. If visitors are looking for something very basic, what is on offer could be sufficient. However, hosting a lot of international guests one wonders with what perception of SA they go back to their own… All though is not doom and gloom, the staff at the restaurant really went the extra mile to make our supper special within their limited means.
