Lights didnt work neither did the aircon system in the room. My friends room had no tea soon and dirty cups. Would avoid staying here again.

Mercure Randburg is located at the edge of the town. It is very affordable and the rooms are well-maintained and the staff was very friendly. Although we chose this hotel because of its central location relative to the Lanseria Airport, O. R. Tambo Airport and Pretoria, I think the neighbouring area helps to keep its rates down because there is not much to see within walking distance, especially at night. The Bridgewater Commons mall next door was under renovation with no clear date of completion, although we managed to have a dinner at the Ocean Basket. For breakfast, we went to the M Squared bakery and coffee shop just 200 metres to the east, which cost us a third of what we would pay at the hotel.

I only have one point to bring out about this hotel, beside its good prices: I had arrived late at the room and my girlfriend woke up to open the door for me. I had never felt her so warm our entire relationship. I do not know what covers you use, but I'd definetely use that as a competitive advantage!

Friendly staff, housekeeping friendly and helpful room mad up tidy and clean.

Inexpensive, clean, well appointed rooms. We stayed 2 nights and it was very comfortable and convenient.

The rooms were underwhelming and the extra blanket was not clean. The food was worse (Dinner) though breakfast was alright. The service great but they need to work on their meals. Dinner was very limited and it's the same every night.

They welcomed me with a very warm heart n their service Is excellent not forgetting their meals breakfast n supper awesome.

Safe environment, oh so friendly staff, fabulous breakfast, clean rooms. All in all Great hospitality.

Good hotel, there is a taxi driver speaking Russian (Bulgarian), super market nearby (products, appliances, clothes, massage, manicure and pedicure)

Management need a shake up. Linen old. Hope this improves.

Was there for work. Everything in room was functional. Staff very helpful. Wake up call at 5 am every morning. One morning did not hear phone — staff member came to my room and knocked on door to wake me.

Plenty strange people hanging about here. Even so, the service is ok and the rooms r up to parr.

Mercure is such a lovely, quaint hotel. It's so close to all the essential structures like a shopping mall (BrightWater Commons Mall) and garages. You cannot miss the gigantic, purple sign beaming in your face. Apon arrival, a security guard greets you at the gate. You make you're way to reception and they book you in. The staff are hilarious and very patient. Greeting you when you enter and exit. You can get a smoking or non smoking room and your choice of 2 single beds or a double bed. They offer an all you can eat breakfast but at a cost, and they use environmentally friendly towels. In the bathroom, they put up these saches to inform you that it's been sterilized. They have these cute did you know notes as well. Standard coffee, kettle and glassess as well as soap, shower gel and towels are the bathroom. There's also an outlet to shave. The only issue was that the cleaning staff would knock on your door numerous times while you're sleeping which can be irritating but overall, a pleasant surprise. You won't regret it.

Rooms presentation is decent. Needs to give focus on the cleanliness of the bathroom. Staff are friendly.

Well this accomodation was very well priced. Not really in a good area for restaurant hunting in the evening and a little in need of a lick of paint and some TCL. However despite the lacking ambiance the staff were all friendly and would be highly recomended for the tired travellar for a cheap bed. Ròom safe never worked either.

Hotel is just OK. Rooms are OK although they could be refreshed a bit. Wi-Fi is slow and limited in volume. Breakfast is good.

Basic, but clean budget hotel. Conveniently located just off Republic Rd. In Randburg with relatively easy access to N1 highway. The Brightwater Commons Shopping center is just around the corner.

The best hotel for the price. Room was very clean. Hotel is located close to N1. There is a McDonald's as well as a Steers nearby. It is also close to a Mall that has everything you can ever want for your stay in south africa. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent room with big TV, refrigerator. Tea and coffee can be made inside the room. Bright water commons mall is just 2 mins walkable distance from the hotel. Very peaceful place. Very good staff.
