Classy conference venue. Clean and neat. Food presented of high quality. Enjoyable experience.

The hotel is seafront, 2 steps from a huge free beach and a very few minutes' drive from the city centre.
New structure, so still well maintained.
The rooms are very spacious, on one level or even on 2 levels. All or almost with balcony. Furniture and bed are of excellent workmanship. Fridge, microwave, kettle, water, tea, coffee. Clean and tidy bathroom. Shower and next to the tub. Hair dryer is necessary to wash. Double TV and good Wi-Fi in the room, although there is the limit you 500 MB per day.
Reception, bar and restaurant are well maintained. Very good food quality.
They need all kinds of alcohol.

Comfortable rooms, good service and lovely shower facility. Breakfast was so fresh especially the omlette options. But the parking set up is poor. Be prepared to search for a while.

Really friendly staff and the amenities to make a business (my experience) trip pleasurable.

Nice and classy, near with great service and good food, a smaller hotel but so much better than the norm, definitely worth a visit, well located as well.

Two words "Absolutely dismal" Very disappointed in the hotel the staff are friendly enough and did manage to sort out a mix up with our room whereby they expect my two young daughter to stay in a separate room on a different floor all together from my wife and myself, dispite booking and confirming our reservation twice before our check in date. The rooms clean enough although the windows were filthy and the carpets looked like they had not been cleaned since the hotel was built. The main hotel restaurant down stairs, well let's say please don't eat there. Dispite the food been revolting there were flies swarm around the cheese plater which was the center atraction in the dinning hall, the Camembert chese had been left out for days and was meting in the heat, infact all the cheese were soft and rotten with mold growing on them. "Not the good mold ether" Very disappointed.

Very cosy, clean and best customer service. Everyone was very helpful, they know what they are doing. The rooms are nice, big very homely. I slept like a baby. Oh! the hotel was the best, I love it.

Spacious rooms, located directly on the Indian Ocean. Beautiful view!
Breakfast Fantastic!

Whatever, they have on the roof is not a swimming pool, it's a pond. Fortunately, the ocean isn't far. Better hygiene methods could be used regarding the breakfast buffet. Flies near the fruits.

4* only for the bartender. Very good guy and excellent mixologist. Our room was large and bright, bathroom needed much care. Cleaning staff was so loud screaming in early morning — we needed to call reception, of course, with no positive outcome… (may be instead of screaming all morning staff can pay attantion to cleaning and sanitizing bathroom; removing nail clippings, hair and used shampoo bottles, just a thought).

I liked it. Friendly service and excellent view if you take a sea facing room (extra charge though). Parking is bad. I had to park outside the premises.

I give this hotel 4 stars because of the location but I give it 3 stars for the service, although staff is friendly and attentive they aren't the fastest. For Example I asked for toilet paper via phone to front desk an well lets just say I'm still waiting for it and I am already back in the USA. LOL! The food was good and the view in the outside patio was amazing. Sima was on top of thing, taking care of our request and BTW he makes a great cup of Coffee, I highly recommend the coffee hands down. Over all its a good place to stay if you are ever in the area.

Room was ok but needs remodeling soon. Staff was nice but couldn't help us with an issue. Location is good, right next to the beach.

Rooms clean and tidy… Loved the view from their dining area. Plus service was just awesome.

Super views and child friendly.

Loft apartments are spacious with a kitchenette and dining area. Its not up market, but its very comfortable.

Nice room with a view. The bed is super comfortable. I do reccomend.

Beautiful hotel within very short distance of the beach. The pool deck above the 3rd floor has a awesome 360 ° view. The rooms are good and clean. The wind can howl quite a bit on the upper floors, but it is a nice change from the stagnant inland air. It would get old pretty quick if it is that load night after night. Sealing the windows to trade the fresh air for conditioned air will solve the howling. Difficult trade-off. The De Kelder restaurant right outside the hotel premises is extremely fine dining.

Cool place for a short period. The food was not that good when compared with other Protea's. Aircon does not work properly.

I stayed here for two nights. Staff and premises are lovely, really enjoyed it. However on the first night, two creepy men were outside of my hotel room trying to get in the room opposite mine. I asked what they were doing, and received a scary response. Security is an issue, as it is easy for non-guests to walk in and use the lift to go up to the rooms. You need to feel safe whilst away from home, definitely a prerequisite for me.

Lovely Hotel with great views, Location, Rooms are beautifully and very stylished furnished! Best stay in town! Cocktails on the Deck with Sunset a must.

Totally not impressed with the hotel.
