We have spent only one night of our South Africa tour at White Shark Guest House. Quietly situated, with a nice sea view and close to a restaurant. We were received in a very friendly manner.
We had booked the White Shark Cage Diving in advance with Monique and payed it as well at the Guest House. Everything is very clean and very comfortable. We had the possibility to leave our luggage in our rooms and have a shower after our Shark trip, that we welcomed after the cold sea water.
Rebecca and Rene were always friendly, there were even tips for some bath time at a lagoon and for our onward trip for seeing Penguins and a nice restaurant for lunch in Hermanus. Thank you Monique and Rene for the unforgettable stay. The only negative was that we could not stay longer.

You need to stop researching where to stay and book here. I was just there for eight glorious days. The guest house is stunning. The folks who work there are just wonderful. Monique is so helpful, generous with her time, and friendly.

If you're going to Gansbaai, this is the perfect place. The guest house was so nice and has great lounge space that continues to an outside deck with a nice view. We stayed in the Leopard's Lair and the room was quite comfortable. Rene made us feel at home and showed us great hospitality. As our room was not rented out the day we departed, she allowed us to keep our bags in the room and use the shower after we returned from the shark expedition. The location could not be any better as it is a short walk to all of the shark diving companies and the ocean. It is only a short drive away from the main Gansbaai shopping/restaurant area. The Wi-Fi works super well and they have extra plug adapters in case you need one. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in the Gansbaai area.

Just Top! Upon arrival you will be greeted very friendly and warmly! The Breakfast is top, the rooms large and super clean! Consistently a top Guest House. There is nothing wrong! Many thanks to the Team of this Guest Houses for the beautiful time here! We are definitely recommend it!

When you make holydays in ZA and you don't spend some days in the White Shark Guesthouse, you make one of the biggest mistake in your live.

Nice and friendly guesthouse with very friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. Marina Dynamics to shark cage diving is directly opposite.

Can not say enough wonderful things about Renee and her staff. We have been lucky enough to get to stay here with her for almost two weeks! The room is wonderful, the entire guest house is awesome. The views from the rooms are amazing. Her staff is busy all day keeping the property looking crisp and clean for all the guests, everyone is always smiling and cheerful.
A very full breakfast awaits us each morning with the most wonderful fresh fruits, grains/cereal, yogurts, eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, coffee, juices… you get the picture! It's a big spread. If you already have plans Renee will touch base with you to see if you need anything; if you don't have plans then she is ready to assist with ideas for activities and helps you in all ways possible; be it a simple point in the right direction or arranging for a car service — what ever you need she will help. She is unmatched in her assistance and has great working relationships with all the shark operators in the bay too! For us personally; when we checked in we were dealing with a residual medical concern; Renee was fantastic to help us with the items we needed to help our situation; and checked with us each day so see how the issue was and if we needed anything (fortunately all healed up just fine and we continued to enjoy our holiday) As do most folks, we came hoping to cage dive with some great white sharks.

Rene and Monique are a great hospitality team. They are both so friendly and helpful. The house and rooms are spotless, really a lovely place to stay. I would definitely want to stay here again and would recommend to others.

Stayed in late December with my family. Lovely place, beautiful room, clean and spacious. Good breakfast The real strength are the owners polite, friendly and willing to immediately resolve the inconvenience of the guests and ready to organize the excursions.
The price paid is worth the experience.

This was one of our favorite places to stay! Renee and her colleagues were fabulous. We learned so much from these wonderful people about the South African culture and loved every minute of it. She was extremely attentive. At one point we struggled to go cage diving cause the sharks were not in the area. Renee did everything to make sure we had an opportunity to see them and we did! Thank you so much Renee and staff for the wonderful stay. Kayla, Emma and I truly appreciated it and we will definitely reference your guest house for future South African Adventurers!

Really nice guesthouse to stay in Gaansbai, nice and cozy rooms … service and personal was excellent … we have been treated like friends.

Fantasticly large rooms and well equipped. The common rooms in the guest house are very nice and cozy as well. Especially the terrace with sea view. But the best ist René. She is so kind and lovely and takes very good care of you. We'll come back for sure, if we are in the region again.

We had to cancel our stay here because we realised that the many kilometers we planned to drive were too ambitious. I want to give 5 stars, however, for Rene's smooth communication and administration. After booking, he quickly answered our question about a baby cot. And now that our plans changed, we have found the deposit back on our credit card — undelayed and unsolicited.

Very spacious house and the owner is so considerate and kind. It's worthy to stay here for more days!
