Amazing family rules that hotel. Unexpectable we stayed few days here. And everythings was realy nice. The owners are very friendly and polite people. Hotel is very clean, breakfast is delicious, with good choice of fruits and vegetables. We was happy to stay here. We travelled with children and they also like it very much! We recommend Tomi Hotel!

Affordable rooms for Portoroz in general. The rooms are nice and most important the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good. All recommendations! Always love to come back there.

Never again! Thursday I am in Trieste and I decide to stretch the road to go to lunch in this restaurant known for years.
I state that I always have a great time and when I arrive I find the restaurant empty, I do not really notice because we are out of season, the owner makes me sit in the main room not heated, temperature 15 degrees maybe… His wife arrives and makes me accommodate in the small heated room, fortunately!
Comes the first order granseola? A mixed fish variety that of granseola? Maybe a part, I asked only fresh fish to order, discarded, appetizer of crustacean to the mad water, inedible those seafood were older than yours truly.
There are scampi grilled and squid always grilled, two scampi were black! One tasted it, inedible, and the squid were covered with salt, I ate one, I got up took a coffee at the counter paid and exited without questioning.
After about an hour I begin to experience a feeling of discomfort, thank goodness I'm in Italy, hospital and related gastric lavage… Thanks for the intoxication!
It is good that you are in a foreign state and make you cause it would be difficult, now you understand the restaurant empty!

Wonderful place, clean, friendly staff, well-eaten, only flaw: the mussels with the flour please No. But for the rest, from appetizer to dessert, all very good and well presented.

Modern clean rooms and nice swimming pool. Very good restaurant in the house. Very hospitable owners.

Before I rate the hotel myself, I would first of all like to commend the 1-hour foot reflex zone/Kopfmassage by Mrs. Nina STAŽIŠAR (trained physiotherapist).
It offers various massages at the hotel, very straightforward and spontaneous appointment assignment! Nina takes a lot of time, goes to individual needs and explains everything she does in passing.
Absolutely commendable and fully recommendable!
Nina has earned M. M. N. 10 stars!
The 3 star rating refers exclusively to our experience with the hotel itself.
Room OK, supposedly modern, but with some flaws, such as missing power sockets, 1 towel hook in the bathroom was directly 2cm above the floor, at the exit of the shower?! (Danger of injury! Should have noticed the maid when cleaning the floor and must be passed on! ).
Very many clothes hangers in the box, unfortunately extremely dusty. Generally in the room not particularly clean, but dusty, cobwebs on the ceiling (were 4 nights there), grinding — and swipes on the walls.
Room otherwise ample large, flatscreen with many international programs (of which at least 10 German-speaking).
The center is on foot over 113 steps (eg. Little to unlighted, very steep) reachable. However, one is still very fast in the center or Back at the hotel (took a good 5 minutes and no fitness club subscription).

I really liked it… we'll be back.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent and very friendly staff. Breakfast was truly delicious and so was dinner. Large variety of choices for breakfast. Rooms are spacious and our room had a wonderful view of the beach. Highly recommend this hotel and when we visit Portoroz we will stay there again.

Staff very nice. Very exclusive, therefore servings rather than starter and not suitable as main course. But good food.

The hotel Tomi is located on a busy roundabout, a few minutes ' walk above portorož. It was founded in 1978 by the Matjaž family, which is active in the gastronomy in the fourth generation. The working climate is therefore also familiar. The house is in the 2nd and 3rd Floor 29 rooms, on the first floor there is a saltwater pool and a seafood restaurant. There are plenty of parking spaces. There is a lift to the rooms.
The breakfast buffet (8am to 10am) is sufficient: various pastries, sausages and scrambled eggs, Cerialien, fruit, coffee and tea. However, the reloading could work better. The restaurant is excellent! The solar cells on the canopy are an expression of the efforts to achieve sustainability. Bicycles can also be rented free of charge. The WLAN works well. The rooms are functional with air conditioning, flatscreen, balcony and interesting details (shower column, pink sink). The interior designer will not win any prize, the flooring for the wooden floors may already be. The centre is close to 100 steps and a small streets.

The food iz very good, and the staff iz very friendly. My stay was wonderfull, the view I had from my room was worth it all on its own. 10/10

Charming place, wonderful people and excellent cuisine.

The hotel and the various rooms are quite good but in this last period I speak of April 2017 the kitchen is really disgusting, do not have tea, Coca-Cola tastes of wine… In short, really a pity because in recent years was really excellent cooking!
