Good hotel, lovely breakfasts.

Excellent place. Spacious and elegant. Nice restrooms. Breakfast is superb.

This chic hotel is probably the best on the coast in Portorozh Cleaning in the room 2 times a day, breakfasts are excellent until 12:00 am! Rooms are spacious, there is everything for comfort, except for the kettle and coffee maker) Large heated pool and salt water. The sea across the street. There are a lot of shops and cafes nearby. In general, I recommend this hotel to any tourists.

Great Hotel with a nice ocean view and perfect position. Located in center of Portorož is really nice to start a walk towards Piran or Sečovlje.

Kempinski is supposedly the best hotel to experience in Portorož. I have also been to lifeclass, which sits next to it and I find rooms more accomodating and friendly. We only stayed in superior doublebed rooms so higher tier rooms are perhaps better then its competitors. The lounge bar prices are certainly oriented towards higher tier guests rather than those that would like to enjoy an evening drink. Breakfast is very good, service is outstanding and the location is awesome.

Visit to the Portoruz in the Kempinski. Lt. Fall season has the restaurant in the Kempinski that "Fleur de sel" only modest 81 points. Somewhat undervalued in our view. Compared to the Rizibizi, with 85 points, the "Fleur de sel" was consistently of high quality. Had a nice evening, with Kempinski services…

Absolutely stunning hotel! Large, beautiful, elegant rooms are quite and grand. Beds are huge, soft and very comfortable to sleep. Bathroom has everything you need and toiletries are of very good quality. Breakfast is just exceptional! It is seved in the most beautiful room Christal Hall and amazed me with abundance of selection and local delicatessen. You can treat yourself with bubbly for an amazing day ahead. Dinner was outstanding as well with every course delicious and service up to the highest standard. Stuff is very friendly, helpful and made my stay a pure treat. The only thing I am sorry about that I did not have chance to visit the spa. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed!

Simply superb with a mix of modernity and central atmosphere that makes visiting the Kempinski a unique experience.

Beautiful saunas and Jacuzzis… a spacious relaxation area and a small balcony so you can go out to smoke with a view of the. Sea… a pretty good spa.

The 5 * luxury hotel was built in 1910, renovated in 2008 and with an extension, which also has a spa with indoor — and outdoor swimming pools.
The rooms are modern and spacious, and breakfast is on the sea-view terrace and dinner at the hotel's centrally located Crystal Hall should not be missed when staying here.
There is an on-site parking garage, also suitable for sports cars.

Luxury hotel of the very finest, everything the heart desires everything super clean and super equipped what you would expect of course for a luxury hotel The view is also breathtaking and to the sea it is also not far and there is yes for emergency yes also a pool right in front of the Hau Stür so only recommended for a luxury hotel with an even moderate price.

Perfectly located, great architecture, good restaurant and bar, room and spa need bit of renovation.

Very nice place to stay, it is not cheap but is worth its cost. Gives access to the main part of the city and is near to some good local restaurants, for those who love to eat fine food.

The thing that leaves ecstatic is the restored palace on which they have erected this Hotel then historical part with annexed modern building very well connected. Too bad that in the historical part does not stay practically never… I say no! Breakfast is served in the beautiful lounge that rimenbra the Times gone. Staff little inclined to the friendly welcome that a hotel of this category would require… The pool is really small… the saunas of my beautician are larger… too small and undiscreet the environment that is excessively illuminated… I would not go back very disappointed.

Very nice hotel in overall. But very serious mistake in my case to check the mini bar after my checkout. Ofcause they correct after my complain.

Not clean at all, especially spa part of the hotel. They didnt change sunbed covers from the day before and pool was very small with cold water so everyone were in whirlpool including children as they dont have any place or pool for kids. Expected much more from this hotel.

Iconic building, ideally located. Very classic. When it comes to food variety and quality this hotel is as good as an average middle class hotel. Services and requirements eg coffee making equipment to the room cannot even be requested. Neither an iron — they force you to use their cleaning. 9€/shirt later and you will see, you better have it done yourself. I missed a turn down service, as well docking stations for e devices. Air condition doesn’t go below 20 degrees so it is always pretty warm. Service doesn’t pay attention, they are slow in removing empty plates and the espresso you get is always cold when at your table…

A great place. Just what you expect from a Kempinski hotel. The rooms in the old part are cosier, the top suites are amazing!

Service very good, food very good, room very good, simply all around to feel good.

The Kempinski Palace Hotel is absolutely a wonderfsul hotel, in an amazing building where the classic architecture meets the contemporary in an exquisite union. All, starting from the sumptuous buffet breakfast, arriving to the sofisticate dinner in the Sophia restaurant is delicious, furthermore all the members of the staff are always really kind and polite, always ready to help the guests in every occasion. At the end one fantastic touch of elegance and style is for sure the pool area where every single guests can relax himself and in the same time feel the cozy atmosphere of the place. This is the confirmation that Kempinski is always a guarantee.

Breakfast nothing special (no crispy pastry, not nice omelettes, fresh orange juice only if you press it yourself, other juices are not fresh too). Restaurant Sofia — very expensive for fries from freezer made in old and smelly oil. All food is better at any restaurant around. If you ask for draught beer, they tell you: we don't have. But you know they have draugh beer in bar downstairs just few meters in the same hotel. Rooms are clean, design nice.

Beautiful and romantic late night balcony meal and drinks with excellent service. Well worth the visit and the price — spent a total of 50 euros for two drinks and two meals in the only 5+ star hotel in Slovenija.

Fabulous Hotel. A dip in the past.

Since a short stay at the Kempinski in Vienna, I was never in doubt that this hotel would fulfil all my hopes of professionalism, luxury and comfort. We booked our stay very last minute (we arrived 15 minutes after booking), and received a really warm welcome. SPA, pool area, breakfast, dinner, room — everything was perfect. And the palace building is really magnificent as well.

The best hotel in portorož refined and elegant.

Luxurious Hotel in the outdoor and public areas, with indoor and outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool, gym and beauty and wellness treatments. The "standard" rooms of the new wing have a slightly chic décor with prints of roses on the bottom of the bed and baroquification armchairs, while those in the "old" wing have a more sober décor, beige tones but not cared for as you would expect for a hotel of such Category! For the rest, an Imperial style breakfast room (gorgeous) is an impeccable service! The location in the centre of the village and the possibility of a private beach area is also great!

Were the best of the new and the old meets. One of the best breakfasts you can get. The food and the atmosphere is just fabulous.

4 stars … AIME is the SPA isn't a SPA … The kempinski is not acceptable … Go to Umag;)

I stayed at the kempinski several times and I always had the same problem i. E. The room cleaning, pointed out to the front desk the answer was always the same, maybe I had inserted the do not disturb. I wonder if answer is a script to be respected on the advice of direction or I am repetitive in my requests, I may have a labile memory?

We just came for a glass of champagne on the summer terrace. The service was extraordiarily friendly so we had a couple more and ended up having dinner.

First-class house, best location, at any time gladly again!

The Kempinski in Portoroz is the dominant and most beautiful buildings in the village. There is an old and a new part, quite successfully connected. Our rooms in the new part was perfect, we had to put anything on the Interior and decor. Very tasteful. The only point of criticism: on the wall of the House and on the balcony were flowers, whose smell we have felt as unpleasant. Highlight was the breakfast. Very lush selection of dishes, very attentive service. The atmosphere on the huge terrace is not to beat. Here you can breathe the charm of bygone days. We had our borrowed at the hotel bicycles (perfect condition, very komforabel). Due to a bicycle accident, we could test the service of the hotel. Pick up the wheels, medical assistance, conversations with the police, and so on — it was very friendly and helpful the page. The chauffeur (*) we want to particularly commend. We would book this hotel again.
