Affordable, friendly, welcoming place. Clean and homey. Family run hostel. The mom is super nice and very happy to help. Her son not only welcomed us with homemade vodka but spent about 2 hours helping us plan our stay in Zdiar and getting tickets to our next destination. When our computer wasn't working he got his out and made reservations for us. They have a very clean hostel and fun fire pit in the backyard right on the river. He also called his cousin when we mentioned it would be fun to horseback ride and within 10 minutes it was set up for us the following day. We had a really fun stay in Zdiar and it should not be overlooked as a relaxing and fun place to holiday or just take a break. Lots of hiking, biking, food, etc. Highly recommend!
