Review of PARKROYAL on Beach Road, Singapore 4*

We had our wedding dinner in March 2018 in the Sky Ballroom and were glad we chose this hotel. The whole planning process leading up to our wedding day was a breeze thanks to our coordinator Jocelyn Loi. She promptly followed up with us every other month leading up to our wedding, telling and reminding us about things that needs to be done. What made her standout as a coordinator was her readiness and responsiveness. She made the effort to reply our texts or emails even when …she was on leave, and most importantly, she made the effort to be there for our recce with our photographer, our av test and on our actual day. This is extremely imporant as couples tend to be a little more jumpy closer to the wedding but she knows her job so well that we're able to just sit back and let her lead us. Also, we're glad she was there on the actual day to ensure banquet manager delivers as she promised! On our actual day, Ritchie and banquet team were extremely helpful. Our room check in was seamless and room was new and very clean! One issue during our banquet was our soup werent served according to BEO but our guests didnt realise and soup was still tasty and everyone loved it anyway. After the wedding when the banquet team delivered the food to our room, they had to replace the dessert as it wasnt fresh anymore. They actually made the effort to deliver the right dessert on our 2nd night stay! That was unexpected and appluadable. The only downside was the service. There werent enough service staff around to serve drinks and most of my guests had to go to the drinks station to get their own drinks throughout the night. Few of the service staff also made a blunder while serving drunken prawn. After portioning for everyone, few tables only received the broth (no prawn) while few tables receive only prawns no broth. For tables that were served only broth, most of their prawns came together with the next dish while 2 tables only gotten their prawns during desserts. All our guests loved the food but a handful left disappointed with the service. Overall, still a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
