My family and I stayed at the Saletoga Sands resort in July 2017. It's a small resort. My brother and I stayed in room 129 and it was right at the water front, the room was lovely and modern, however the shower most of the time would either go too hot or too cold no in between. My sister and her 2 children stayed in room 126, it had an upstairs with a balcony, it was a bit run down and there were untold of those gecko lizards in there. I was glad it wasn't my place but my sister and her kids liked the geckos so they were not bothered. My mother and father stayed in a modern room 203 was nice and spacious. It wasn't a beachfront bungalow but wasn't far to walk. The scenery and surroundings at this resort were absolutely beautiful the plants and flowers looked increable. They had Wi-Fi cards you could buy at reception $20 tala would give you 2hours but I think it rounded it to 15minutes each time I logged in. They had 2 restaurants. Our waitress Jane was amazing and the service she provided made us want to come back every night. We had contential breakfast each morning and there was so much to choose from it was delightful. The meals were average, they werent bad by any means but just didnt WOW me. My nieces both got a few hair braids with beads which they loved. They had a kids club which went for 2 hours a day 10-12pm and my neices loved it. They liked the crab hunting. I also booked in for a full body massage which costed me $140 tala it was an hour long but I must say it was the best massage I've had before. We went on a few tours, Sally our driver was such an awesome person has such a neat personality and was entertaining and we had Stone come along when we went to the water hole and I was amazed at how great he was looking out for us as we were swimming making sure we were ok and safe. We hired a people mover which we thought was quite cheap it was about $160 tala for a whole day and we drove around the while island. It was just awesome but the roads were terrible had alot of potholes… I must say the Samoan people are just so friendly and lovey, such beautiful smiles. Overall I truly loved the whole experience and it's somewhere I'd recommend you go if you just want a lazy lay on the beach holiday. There isnt alot more tp do other then that and heaps of swimming and snorkelling. The kids loved it.
