The Salyut tries very hard to be 5 star on a budget. Staying here evokes memories of Las Vegas mega-hotels — multi-storey, huge advertising billboard on the front, on site shops, spa facilities (including 2 pools, whose access demands extra payment) and copious bars and meeting / dining areas. But this isn’t 5 star. Some of the interior craftsmanship is amateur such as the Step Of Death to access the en-suite in addition to the weird tap-come-shower basin arrangement. The whole building smells weird, not necessarily bad, just weird. Salut is a good 20 minutes walk to the closest metro, but there is a frequent and free shuttle every 15 minutes, or whenever the drivers’ have finished their smoke break.

Not a bad hotel. In the rooms — refrigerator, hairdryer (admittedly weak), small kettle and tea pairs, there are slippers and hygiene kits. There is an ironing room on the floor.
The rooms are clean. Restaurants are quite edible. Many people like local pastries.
From the cons — far to the subway, and the transfer does not always go, only until 8 p. M.

Its good enough over all. The geographical location is terrible, but they offer a ride to the nearest metro station. No laundry tho, but the breakfast is incredible.

The hotel is good enough. The contingent of guests-foreign tourists (a lot of Chinese, a little less-Europeans and Japanese), crews of aircraft from "Vnukovo", Russian business travellers. The rooms are clean and tidy. Service at a good level. Very well fed. Prices are at a satisfactory level. The main disadvantages-far enough to the subway (somewhat compensated by the fact that every half hour runs a free minibus) and the total impossibility for living on the upper floors of the climb in the elevators-they are hammered long before and go up to go down On the first floor. Administration, there's something to do!

Very large Hotel, unfortunately still a lot under Construction. Very loud on the Road. Wasn't so mostly Thing. Eating bulk Clearance. Very nice and clean Room. Very nice Staff!

Pleasantly surprised by the excellent service! Cozy room and excellent staff attitude. The food is just as pleased! Elevators only want to make more spacious) photos from the 22nd floor.

Was there at a seminar in the Blue Hall "Sapphire". Impressions are positive. Everything is clean, polite staff, ready to help and tell where to go. The transport accessibility is not bad either. From south-west and from Tropaarevo can be reached on foot or by bus.

Huge hotel, good position for business trip, friendly staff, good breakfast.

Nice hotel, they need to increase the elevators, in the mooring it might take up to 20 min to go up or down.

Very average breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The room has a kettle and a tea couple, but no tea. Wall clocks don't work. The lighting is weak. TV a la 90s… And so many Chinese… Parking 400 rubles per night I think expensive. The room rate is also not low…

Great hotel. Many rooms and related services. Several restaurants. The kitchen is decent. Large selection of dishes. There are several convenient halls for events. Blue Hall The teaching is comfortable-spacious with a good overview. Comfortable soft information. There are several other facilities for conferences and seminars. Common Hall and a large beautiful staircase, where we traditionally made a common photo of participants of the event. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to the metro station free of charge. From the window a beautiful view of Moscow. The higher the room the better the view from the window.

This place is just OK. Suffers from the tired old Russian way of trying to make a place look fancy/grand on the cheap.

It's a 4 star hotel with decent accomodation and food.

It's a very nice, comfortable and cozy hotel. Staff is very kind and always ready to help.

Tin, not the hotel. Don't pull on your 4 stars in principle. Located away from the centers of life, so had to go to a local restaurant. There we long warned from food (really warned). As a result, refused to serve and sent to the lobby bar, which was crowded for quite now understandable reasons. There was a place in the corner. Brought food in dirty ware. In general irritation. When we went to the room, we found that someone in our Otsutsivie opened the window on airing (-18 on the street) and completely vystudil the room. Obviously this was done to remove the flying abundantly in the air flakes of dust, which was intensely carried from the ventilation.

One of the best hotel options in Moscow. 20 minutes drive from the center of Moscow, 15 minutes drive from Vnukovo Airport (from Vnukovo free bus to the hotel and back), from Domodedovo airport 40-60 minutes away by taxi. From the Metro south-west to the hotel and back-free shuttle bus. The hotel has a beauty salon, fitness room, sauna, bar. Secure parking is available on site. Spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, plenty of restaurants on site (Russian, Chinese, Japanese, European, Italian cuisine), pharmacy and souvenir kiosk. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable.

Nice rooms, courteous staff, decent breakfast, Metro close by, beautiful area, reasonable prices. Everything is OK, but the elevators in such a huge hotel are just no gates! There are only 5 Of them! They're small. The elevator had to Wait for 10-15 minutes in the morning. They Came hammered and left. Take the strictly lower floors.

I Stay for the third time: In 2009, 2016 and now. Convenient and reliable online booking. Unlike last visit this time there was no old tobacco smell in the room. The Room has the necessary minimum for a comfortable stay: LCD TV, refrigerator, electric kettle, hair dryer, air conditioning, mini-safe. This time I did not like the service: for two weeks of stay have never changed bed linen; When in quartz wall clock of a village the battery, extracted it, has put in a prominent place to pay attention of the maid, but still a week up to the departure hours did not work.

For someone the good geographical location of the hotel.
+ Free shuttle bus to the Metro South-West every 30 minutes + Free transfer to/from Vnukovo airport.
-Not always transfer is possible (I have from 3 orders only 2 executed).
-Single rooms are almost non-standard for reservations… (Only Lux and De Luxe) — after preliminary booking and indication of time of arrival it was necessary another hour and a quarter to expect the number.
+ Room clean + fridge + TV + phone + wi-Fi (Wifi) + air conditioner-only three towels + soap, toothbrush and pasta in stock-not quite bright lighting although three-horn chandelier and three point lights in the room + pretty tfki close two stations Metro + There is a bonus system.

The Rooms are certainly not oh ty. But all in one place. SPA, fitness and so on. By the Way I want to mention the masseur Elviru in the spa Afroitta. It's just indescribable. Gold Pens. Spasm lifted in half an hour.

The conditions are quite decent. Clean rooms, clean linen. Lack, no, even small, refrigerator. And there is no microwave, even on the floor.

Nice but pretty shabby hotel. Without extra gloss and outrageous here is everything you need for a short stay. Intensive work with tourist groups has led to the fact that the rooms require a good cosmetic repair. The hotel is located near the south-west subway station. From the entrance to the subway regularly, every half hour, runs a free minibus. There are several restaurants in the hotel. The main restaurant "Salut" works on the system of buffet. The food was very good. There are many foreign tourists from the guests. Mostly Chinese, but there are Europeans. Compatriots are represented by travel and conference participants. For some reason, lawyers often stay here, mostly judges. There are few additional services. They're all paid. The prices are very democratic. There are bonuses when booking online (free late check-out and check-in up to 12 hours).

Good hotel, nice old elegance and set up, feel safe and relaxed, fantastic food options, near city centre.

I stayed here during a long layover. It is a short drive from Vnukovo and relatively inexpensive if you are visiting from Europe or the US, as the ruble is presently very weak. This hotel has a beautiful lobby, but the rooms do not reach the same level. The rooms are clean, but simple. My single had a wet carpet (maybe from being too recently cleaned) and a toilet that stopped flushing in the morning. The hotel could really use blackout curtains, as the summer sun rises before 4a and is shining hard through the windows before 5. It is a huge hotel that see a lot of tour groups, so the bank of five elevators is easily overwhelmed. That side, the concierge was helpful, and my bed was clean. I didn't use any of the amenities and only stayed one night.

I stayed in Salut for 5. Weeks in the summer of 2014 on a business trip to Moscow. The first thing that comes up in my mind after the stay in Hotel Salut is how rude the security staff at the hotel is. Those guys must think they´re still serving in the Soviet Army. One time they even came up to my room and forced there way in when they thought that I had a company of a lady. (they were wrong) — No apologies were given. The girls in the reception spoke bad english and some of them spoke no english at all. Most of them were rude all the time. The breakfast is where the horror begin. Of all the hotels that I´ve ever been to in the world this tops it all. The first day I came in there I got yelled at by one of the staff for not using the toaster correctly. (I dont understand Russian) but I think she meant that the heat was to high. The food was uneatable. Summit: -Really bad Wi-Fi -Unfriendly attitude from the hotel staff -Cold showers in the morning -Air condition not cold enough. -Uneatable food in the breakfast -Tight security — military style.

Very nice hotel, and not expensive. It may look not very attractive from outside, but very beautiful inside. Free drop off at the Metro station; great view. My husband and I had a good stay.

Nice and beautiful place in a good location, 20 minutes to vnukovo airport and 10 minutes to yugo zapadnaya metro station.

Nice room, clean and with good wardrobe and comfy bed. Breakfast is not spectacular, but good with good variety. The shower is good but the last 4 days there was no hot water.

Good and cosy hotel. Maybe a little expensive but it's worth your money, I think.

Great Socialists time hotel located in nice place. I would always go for upper floors because of view…

Didn't like the fact that a very close room. In a wardrobe does not climb tab. Was d man who is not aware that the width should be at least 60 cm leave. No hygienic shower in the room. And so on too many downsides for the prices they are asking.

A good choice for the money.

Location is situated in the suburbs, but traffic is relatively convenient for ten minutes to shopping malls to the subway station, only 17 km from the airport, rooms also have free Wi-Fi, room is clean and sanitary is a small point, facilities are relatively old point.

For the money 5000 rubles a day, you could at least toothpaste put. From the Windows blowing, the TV is junk, the Internet drops periodically. Breakfast and lunch is decent. Over 3000 would be great. But as nostalgia for Soviet times shall have such 100%. Like a child ;)

Cold. All prokureno! Sleeping in clothes, underwear of questionable cleanliness.

Old and poorly furbished. Uncomfortable beds. Relatively OK breakfast. Similar to Alpha / Beta / Gama hotels in Moscow.

The price matches the quality! The staff is wonderful! Thank you very much.

Tolerable. Lifts eternal place. Business class room-not impressed. In-room fresh. It can be warm in the winter. Bathroom tired. Convenient service paid transportation to Metro, but figs vyčisliš′ when the vehicle runs. Ubiral′nicy clearly have become lazy towards the end of the stay. The Internet barely. Skype is not pulled. Enjoyed smoking "policy. Separate zones with floors.

Typical post USSR 3 star hotel. Small rooms, but pretty clean.

Everything is wonderful, clean, convenient, tasty feed. Internet without restrictions, even the network open.

Security rules are unfriendly for customer. Guards are awful and rude! The administrators are indifferent to the problems of clients.
