Perfect location. Beautiful room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast — especially scrambled eggs with salmon.

Nice boutique hotel. Friendly staff and centrally located.

The bar staff is the best as they were very patient even though they do not really know English. But the front desk people, majority are friendly but I have once encountered a super impatient staff and she was showing a black and talking back with a unfriendly tone.

My husband and I stayed for four nights in a standard room.
This high-level hotel is very close to the Red Square and the Bolshoi Theatre is really at the level of 5-10 and a convenient price for everyone else in the area.
There are pleasant robes and slippers and varied washing knives and a disposable razor and toothbrush etc.
The reception and bar staff are happy to help with any interest.
Although the photos in the room look small but actually it's enough, there's no need to book a larger room.
Disadvantages — in the shower the water was lukewarm, and even though we had double-faced this particular issue, it would not be a treat, but it was something we didn't even bother to press.
The maid always took the second key to the room for some reason and did not renewed the mineral water.
Every time you want to change the heating temperature in the room, you have to call the front desk.
Buffet breakfast is very limited but freshly made coffee and a freshly squeezed juice, sometimes some days breakfast is based on a menu.
In the bottom line, there are little things to improve but the great big recommends that you do not regret it for a moment. I liked it.
Adjacent to the hotel there is a beauty salon that gives 10% discount to hotel guests but I wouldn't recommend it because the prices are a bit exaggerated and not so worth the return.

Perfectly located in a hidden spot in the core of the center of Moscow, Akvarel offers a quiet and beautiful atmosphere. Lovely service, amazing rooms with refined decoration and extra comfort. I´ve been missing this bed since I was there. Highly recommended!

Very central, very good value for the price. The rooms are spacy enough, clean, comfortable — only minus are the pillows (very hard stuffed). The hotel is quiet, unexpectedly quiet for such a populated place in the pedestrian zone. But the hotel is located in a backyard, so this makes the trick. Breakfast is okay, staff is welcoming and friendly and one can feel safe there. You can take it at a starting point for a city trip, as well as for a business trip. Public transportation (metro with orange, red, green, blue, grey, and violett lines) is in walking distance — and metro is the fastest transport in Moscow!
