Favourite hostel I stayed at while I travelled through Europe. Clean, cool staff and perfect location. Definitely recommend.
I only had 3 days in Moscow and Sophia made the best of it. She handled my request for my invite letter to complete my application for my Visa. She speaks English! Which is a plus because my Russian is horrible. Super clean and updated hostel in the middle of everything. I walked everywhere. Nice hot showers, super fast Wi-Fi always on in the rooms, updated clean kitchen, and comfy warm beds. Russia gets cold at night. $9 USD a night! What a deal. All hostels should model after this place. The first night I was paired with drunk, loud brits, and Rita had no problem switching my room as they were loud at 4am with no concern for anyone else. Rookies. Bunk beds were always clean and solid, not like other cheap ones I've slept in. The cleaning staff is exceptional. Not too many bad things to say here. I will def be returning.

Although the hostel is located at the heart of the city and having big pantry, the staffs are not friendly. S/he just sits at the counter or somewhere in the hostel. When you ask for any helps or suggestions, s/he will always say "don't know" (e. G. How to use a washing machine to rinse my clothes) or "it's not the problem s/he can fix or solve" (e. G. Why is the water in women's bathroom is cold whilst the one in men's is hot). The hostel is not clean enough. A housekeeper will come in the morning for cleaning. The staff sitting at the counter is just a guard and doesn't have service mind at all. I would suggest you to find a new hostel for your own sake.
