Room at basic rate is small, but this is what I've paid for :). Basic rooms are facing the street. In consequence the noise from the street is significant, even on the 6 floor. Breakfast good. Wi-Fi works. Staff polite. Location great, good selection of restaurants at walking distance, and metro is 300 meters away. I'll probably stay again, but in a bigger room.

The location of the hotel is nice. That is the only compliment I am able to pay it. The lobby looked alright but then we started getting bitten by mosquitoes. There were also dead mosquitoes on the window sills of some of the rooms. Our room had a dead cockroach in it by morning. We also needed help talking to someone over the phone in Russian and the staff were completely unwilling to help us. The rooms were not small but they were not very comfortbly made. The ceilings are high but the room isn't very wide. If this was a hostel or a one star hotel I think I would be impressed. If you are used to the international standards of three star hotels then you will probably not be happy. There were two types of beds: one where there were two blankets made to look like one till you get in the bed. The next (my room) was a bed where the blanket did not reach the sides, as in it did not cover the bed fully. And two people were supposed to sleep in that bed… We requested another blanket and it turned out both the blankets and sheets were unbelievably itchy! We couldn't sleep the whole night! The soap and toothpaste were in little sachets which you had to squeeze out. Some rooms had shower cubicles (like the one I had when I was an undergraduate in uni accommodation). Our room had a bath but it was really difficult to switch from the bath tap to the shower handle. There was also a little panel in the wall which turned out to open to a bunch of rusty pipes.

Excellent location and amenities. Reasonably priced and the staff is quite helpful.

Were in luxuriously on the proposal "romantic Weekend", the first hotel with a choice in favor of an alternative to Abraham Durso-Lambrusskaya! Bravo! Visited this hotel as a museum-dipped in the ERA)

Hotel — Historic and recently renovated. The name comes from a special relationship that the Soviet Union had with China, with both gifting each other a similar looking hotel in their respective countries. It also contains the first Chinese Restaurant in Moscow. The rooms are spacious with mini bars and Wi-Fi, the service is courteous and helpful. The restaurant and breakfast are decent but not a strong point. The location is excellent, with a multitude of restaurants, cafes, subway station and even a Concert Hall within walking distance. It is reasonably priced + good value for Moscow.

Nice hotel, large rooms with high ceilings. Clean. Bathroom standards. The location of the hotel is great. But they did not have a double bed for us and my wife. And the shifted odnospalki were covered with a mattress. And they were all the time. The door Ongo of the lockers was broken. But I'm putting them five stars.

Great hotel with a good location and a metro near by (acrooss the street). Used to be a famous hotel in the sovite union and you can feel it still. Highly recommened.

Nice hotel. Stayed in it many times. Great location in the city center. Beautiful building. Rooms in a good Soviet style, high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, red carpets, powerful cabinets. An impressive atmosphere. Nice restaurant. Interesting bar. Great spa. The security of the hotel is too noticeable and ostentatious. Overall the hotel experience is positive.

Excellent hotel with nice rooms very clean and spacious, our SUPERIOR was equipped with TV, air conditioner, a comfortable sofa and a large bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer. The hotel is located in the central area with access to the Metro close by.

Cheap Hotel in a great location. Red Square-20 minutes walk on Tverskaya. The level is 3 stars. Interiors-Classics of the USSR-red carpet tracks, chandeliers, drapes. There is a spa-salon is good. On the 13th floor there is a bar with a panoramic view of Moscow. Recommend.

The entourage of the club is classy, spacious and beautiful room. Nice and friendly staff. And a delicious Markov cake!

I don't like it. No basic packet coffee, CHAJNIKP. Total 0; 5 water. I heard everything around. The reception was silent when I asked to spend for breakfast. Cleanliness is good.

Good hotel, Soviet, true. But it gives her a charm. Location is hard to come up with better. Exit to the triumphal square. Through the Garden Ring 2 Theater and concert hall. Across the square and you're on Tverskaya.

Convenient and accessible place. Easy to find and near club bar 25:45 very nice there are entertaining games. I liked.

Slightly expensive than most of the 3 star hotels in Moscow but overall a good experience.

Old, very shabby already. In my opinion strongly wins only the location and the price.
For a relatively ridiculous money, you get just a stay in an old hotel in the heart of Moscow. About all other amenities (breakfast, spa, swimming pool, fitness, etc. ) I can say nothing because I did not use and do not know, because they did not enter the cost.

Rooms are very small and bathroom no way it is challenge if you can shower.

Decent 4. And it corresponds to its status. Wide corridors, high ceilings. The view of the skyscrapers of Moscow is impressive! The feeling of the capital is not leaving you.

Full of security, which is a bit surprising. To go to visit friends demanded to enroll. :)

Italian friends came to me, stayed in this hotel. They asked to convey that they liked everything and that they will come again and stop at you! Thank!

Very nice hotel in all respects. Price = quality. Cozy and clean room (suite on the 7th floor).

Ok not a nice hotel, but you can pop up for a drink and a cheap way to get a great view of the center from the 13th floor.

In room 409 stayed in February this year. The bathroom is very low. It's right on top of the sink, and when you try to wash your head, it's in that wand. It's uncomfortable. The rest of the staff were very helpful.

I was surprised that the Beijing hotel was only 3 stars, not five. He says he's a five-star hotel. Although the unpleasant shelf was the most Kgbshhnyj (Fsbshhnyj) hotel in Moscow, it stayed in the history of the hotel. Unwittingly checked whether there were any cameras in the rooms.
The room was very spacious. Style of the Soviet-Royal. There were three large windows in the room, which were in the theatre of satire and garden rings, but the room was quiet.

We celebrated my girl's friend birthday on the terrace-restaurant of the top floor in the Pekin Hotel. Remarkable place with outstanding view of night city. Very convenient sofas, not noisy service, blankets given by waitress (end of September). Food wasn't very special but decent ceasar salad was overpriced for cafe style place. We ordered bottle of Italian wine, irish coffees. Pastries. I paid overall 5000 rubles. I liked very much the bar located one story down decorated with collums and beautifully painted ceiling a la Rafael. I would recommend this place to everyone as tet — a tet net. Fore stars.

Overpriced rooms. Plus that a hotel in the Centre. And so, if it is 4 star hotel, I said. Towels old, wonderful views. Room not very clean.

Good value for money, although the rooms are rather "tired".
Wi-Fi is not available in the rooms and breakfast is not included in the price of the rooms.

One of the best attractions of the place is the restaurant and bar on the top floor with a beautiful view.

Great location, being close to the metro, and walking distance from the Kremlin and Red Square. There is a nice rooftop bar which is recommended on warm summer evenings. Go early if you want a table :) The lifts are small.

I was recommended and said that the hotel is very good. However, no elementary conditions: in the hallway with no water cooler, the hotel can not provide a computer that estren case to use it. The hotel VEGA.

Good hotel… 20 min walk from the Bolshoi Theatre. To 2 min from the metro…

Nice retro style hotel… Old soviet times but clean with spacious rooms… Will stay here next time as well…
