Breakfast was excellent, there was a large assortment of dishes — a lush omelette, good sausages, homemade pancakes, porridge, sour cream and delicious cherry jam, pastries, cookies, tea and coffee, several salads (crab with mayonnaise and vegetable with butter), cheese and sausage slicing. Vsp was very tasty.
Attentive and polite girls at the reception, very good bed linen.
The area is small, literally a small area with a swing, a gazebo, benches and tables, but the view is gorgeous of the monastery and the river, it has its own descent to the water with bridges.
The room was cold. It was raining outside and plus 4. We were frozen, but we couldn’t warm up in the room for a long time. They lay in jackets under a blanket. As the girl at the reception said, she turned on the heating an hour before our arrival. But the room was cold, it only warmed up after 5 hours. Probably, you need to turn on the heating in advance, about 3 hours in advance. Because there are gaps in the windows, and there is a gap under the door, which, by the way, does not contribute to soundproofing with the neighboring room. By morning the room was hot. The room was not clean, there were spider corpses in the most visible place in the corner of the bathroom.

A ruined vacation and no attempt to resolve the situation. Now I will describe what I saw today. I'll start in order.
1. My wife and I have already been to this hotel a year ago. We really liked it, we really had a great time. I liked the attitude of the staff, the location, its own pier, etc.
2. Beginning of August 2023. We decide to go to Suzdal for the weekend of September 01-03. We book a room at the Spasskaya Gorka hotel. We book through the hotel website. When making a reservation, you must enter your bank card details as a guarantee for the reservation. I do everything. As a result, a confirmation of your reservation will be sent to your email.
3. A few days before the trip. We book a car, various excursions/entertainment in Suzdal, and pay for it all. I understand that there will be a lot of people, since the weekend promises to be warm.
4.3 days before the trip — the hotel sends a booking reminder by email. “Okay, that’s what we remember and wish. ”
5. Day X. The mood is the most positive. We are going to our beloved Suzdal. The road flies by unnoticed and now we are already at the door of the hotel. We meet the administrator with a smile and see some confusion.
6. The administrator reports that there are problems with the system on the site and they do not see our reservation. They can't help, there are no available rooms.

I thought for a long time about giving it 2 or 3. I settled on 3 points, so I’ll start with the positives. A very beautiful area, just very beautiful. Good location, friendly Anastasia and very good breakfast. And at first glance, a beautiful number. We took a wooden hut and occupied both rooms in a separate house. And everything seemed fine until I went into the bath. In the bathroom the faucet is constantly leaking, the laminate flooring is swollen and the water just doesn’t drain into the shower. With my disgust and love for cleanliness… I tried very hard to go into the bath as little as possible, but it didn’t always work. The room, apparently because of this, had a terrible smell of mold and was very, very, very damp! There is also no air conditioning as advertised, as well as Wi-Fi, don’t expect it, it doesn’t work. I do not rule out that the other type of rooms is different, but this is what I got. If we had stayed in Suzdal for longer, I would definitely have changed the hotel, because personal hygiene, good plumbing, a pleasant smell and the absence of dampness are very important. Well, air conditioning in the heat above 30 will also not be superfluous.
And one more thing — I hung a request on the door to clean up (precisely because of the bathroom, I wanted the puddles to be removed), but the sign remained untouched. There was no cleaning for 2 nights, they didn’t even throw out the garbage.

We love the slide, it’s warm and soulful here, the hostess is the best and you can swim. Delicious breakfasts and very quiet, reconnecting with nature. I would like to come every year, but it doesn’t always work out. Say hello to the hostess.

Convenient location of the hotel (10 minutes to the Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery, 30 to the Kremlin), many cafes nearby. There are places to take a walk. Excellent hotel grounds, parking on site (behind the gates), gorgeous hotel grounds and beautiful views of the city. And breakfasts 💔❤️❤️
