The hotel is new or recently renovated. Clean.
They tried to create coziness in the cafe by painting the walls on a space theme in a cartoon style.
They warned us about the lack of hot water in the shower and told us how to survive it.
Parking turned out to be paid; the ostrovok website does not say this. 200 rubles (at the end of July 2023) per night.

The hotel is located close to the Space Museum, which is quite convenient. Normal parking. The room is spacious, even too spacious)
The food at the hotel is very average, too much spice, the dishes are monotonous. A terribly uncomfortable shower, from which either boiling water or cold water flows… It is almost impossible to wash.

Definitely the best hotel in Kaluga. So the most expensive.

Kaluga, in principle, is not big, but the hostel is right 500 meters from the center.
The room has a radiator and there is a window. Warm, quiet. Satin bed sheets! soft, cozy. Unless the mattress is tired — if you’re on one side all night, then it’s resting.
The hostel is almost sterile. I've seen a lot in my entire life, but this one is still in first place in terms of cleanliness and freshness of the interior.
The staff is friendly, everything was explained right away.

The hostel is clean and cozy! Good furniture and quality linen, blankets and pillows. I spent two nights in a four-bed women's room. The heating was scorching! Keep in mind that if you feel stuffy and want to open the window slightly, your neighbors may be against it. Another negative experience that interfered with my holiday.

I liked everything: the room, the spa area with a fitness room, and the breakfast. The people are very nice, sociable, hospitable.

There is a 24-hour coffee machine, tea, and cookies.
The restaurant is just bomb! Breakfast is like in a very decent European 4*, and the rest of the time it’s a really great restaurant.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, everything you need is there. The hotel is not located in the busiest place, but this is clear from the description, I was by car, no problems, parking was available. Overall, a very decent hotel.

We stay at this hotel many times with colleagues, we like everything. The reception girls are excellent: attentive, caring. It’s nice that there is a private parking (this is important for us). Clean, cozy, comfortable. Full board is possible for a reasonable price. We are here OK, thank you.

We had our own car, so we were especially pleased with the huge parking and accessibility to the city center.

Good linen, nice staff, clean, delicious food in the cafe, huge portions, definitely recommend! Beautiful, clean, quiet city! Wonderful theater! Everything is within walking distance from the hotel, a small gap between transport, a wonderful trip experience!

The hotel is located in the very center of Kaluga. In general, everything can be reached on foot. On the contrary, there is a Bristol and a Pharmacy if you need anything quickly.
The number of rooms is rather old, but quite decent. The room is clean, towels, shampoos, everything you need is available. There is a cafe downstairs where you can have breakfast without any complaints (from 7 am), scrambled eggs, porridge, sausages, coffee, what else do you need?

Small and cozy hotel, close to the city center.
Thick walls, you can't hear anyone.

I often travel to different cities, and this is perhaps one of the best hotels I've ever been to.
The room is cozy and quiet, there is everything you need, including consumables.
At home I sleep on an orthopedic mattress, of course you can’t expect this from hotels, so I’m not lowering my rating for this.

Convenient location, private parking.
This is our second time staying at this hotel, the first trip was wonderful, there were no problems with the room. The second time, the toilet smelled strongly of sewage; in three days the room was not cleaned or the trash was taken out. We asked to clean the room and take out the trash, but this was not done.

I was brought to the city on business, I needed to stay somewhere for 8 days, including weekends, so for my stay I needed a cozy and spacious place, equipped with a minimum of necessary things.
In the Kaluga hotel, the apartments consist of one large room, divided into zones — living room, kitchen area, bedroom. In the kitchen there is a microwave, kettle, table. The bedroom has a large bed and a window. The living room can accommodate 4-5 guests, there is a coffee table.

Visited the city of Kaluga on work matters in February for 4 days. I came by car, so my employer specifically chose a hotel with parking for me. It’s very convenient when you have a place to park your car and don’t have to look for a new place every time in an unfamiliar city.
I already booked a Deluxe room, I liked living in it. It is large — 50 sq. M. Two rooms, furnished in a classic style, very clean, has a bedroom and a living room.

Inexpensive hotel. Its own large parking lot.
The room is small, small shower, you can't get hot water late in the evening, it's fine in the morning. It's not located in the city, but it's accessible by car.

Clean, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, functional interior.

It is located on the outskirts of the city, but we were by car — not so critical.
There were no slippers in the deluxe room, only 2 towels. But everything was provided upon request.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are clean and not tired. The room has a kettle and bottled water. Bathrobes, toothbrushes, soap, gel, shampoo. The location is convenient. The breakfast may not be fancy, but we liked it. The only thing missing was bean coffee from the Coffee Machine.

The food is delicious. The breakfast buffet is quite rich.
On the evening of February 23rd we ate in the lobby restaurant. Also a buffet. Everything is tasty, but not abundant. Coffee and juices for a fee.
We were quite pleased.

Hotel location.

An excellent hotel with competent administrators, delicious breakfasts and clean rooms. Sound insulation allows you to get a good night's sleep, all questions/problems that arise are resolved promptly. The bed linen is perfectly white, the mattresses are very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the room strictly at the appointed time, all requests/wishes are taken into account and the room is as comfortable as possible.

This is the very center. All iconic sites can be easily reached on foot.
Purely. Everything is extremely clean.
Everything is fine, only a slight leapfrog with cleaning: the maid started breaking in on me in the morning, so she was told that I had already left.
Good hotel for your money.
Small but tastefully furnished rooms. Whoever selected the furniture and lighting was great. I really liked the chandelier. In general, cozy rooms. The location is the very center.
