Green Village exceeded my expectations in every way. Clean rooms, many facilities, great location, beautiful design, budget friendly for extra season (April, for example), respect for nature, flexibility, front row seat to the best music in the world: nature.
I had, initially, requested a room in Starcul Alb for the tiny pond in the middle there, but as they already had a really noisy group checked-in and I mentioned I want quiet they changed my room to another area of GV, which was just what I wanted. Green Village is not for everyone, but that's ok, we wouldn't want it to be.

Great serene place to be … whether it’s a romantic getaway or time with family, there’s something for everyone! The staff is super friendly and speak English. There are all kinds of activities: bicycles, billiards, swimming pool, spa, and so so much more. Best thing is that you’re literally 15min from the sea shore and 15min away from the village!

Amazing place, accommodation is first class, staff are really friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is full of wildlife, the walk to the beach is not to be missed.

Green Village is my very favorite hotel in Romania. Location is amazing, I loved waking up to the sound of nature and animals. Sunsets there were breath-taking too and the swimming pool is a nice plus. And food was yummy as well. Just would like to have more vegan options but overall, it's a very unique hotel to stay at and you won't feel you are in Romania at all. It has an exotic touch to it :)

Good location, decent accommodation.

We spent just a night here arriving late and leaving early. We were on an off road cycling trip in the Delta. This was quite an oasis for us. Luxury accommodation in a huge room with terrace. We had no need of and did not use any of the facilities. The food was a fish buffet and pricey 92 lei per person. Food was as much as the accommodation. Reception staff spoke English. We had our own guide so can’t comment on their recommendations.

Unfortunately, this place does not live up neither standard of a 4-star resort nor price. It has a cold swimming pool, a jacuzzi that does not work, and roads paths which is not taking care of. People are nice but it does not help on the property, which you get the impression that it is not really taken care of. Also, if you stay in some of the more expensive huts (villa 7 & 8), you have to take muddy road about 300m with cow poop and wild dogs, to get to the rest of the resort. At night there is no light at the road and the wild dogs are around you. If this was a 3-star resort to half the price I would accept it. Unfortunately, it is pretty far from a 4-star standard.

Cred ca sunt chiar darnica dând 3*, asta pentru locație. Am fost de Paste 2018. Minusuri: Antifonare proasta in camere, se aude tot ce vorbești între camere; daca ai vecini gălăgiosi la revedere odihna Meniu sărac in peste (din 4 mese principale tip bufet, 2 nu au avut deloc peste deși mi S-a spus ca va fi la toate) ; aiurea pt Delta, te duci acolo pt meniu bogat in peste Un sistem de rezervare a meselor in restaurant de tip nepotism Personal in majoritate neprofesionist si neprietenos in restaurant, nu știau ce conțin preparatele (ingrediente principale nu rețeta of course…) din meniul servit Programul artistic nu a fost același la parterul/ etajul restaurantului; intr-o zi un artist a cântat la etaj si la parter n-a mai avut chef sa vina. Jacuzzi exterior nu a funcționat, deși era trecut in oferta, pur si simplu le-a fost greu sa-i dea drumul (nu era defect) ; scrie ca au si sala de Fitness dar oricine are abonament la o sala nu va putea numi sala cele 2-3 aparate amatoare de acolo Prosoape nu au fost schimbate deloc in 3 zile Dezorganizați, deși resortul e f mare nu exista indicatoare către Receptie, când am ajuns ne-am învârtit năuci între zone Plusuri: Curat in camere, saltea f confortabila, pat mare (in apartamente), mobila frumoasa Zona frumos amenajată Are potențial mare dar e nevoie de un management mai performant si de antifonarea camerelor.

It‘s a pity — have tried booking online and was routed to a payment site where total amount was charged to my credit card. However, no confirmation of booking, no reaction to email and reservations hotline unavailable. Does not seem reliable at all. Cannot recommend this hotel!

An echo style Hotel in the Danube Delta where yt? meets the Black Sea. A paradise for Fishermen and Bird watchers.

Very very nice and quite place, perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing holiday. 20 mins away from one of the most beautiful beaches.

Good place to come with your family. Access to swimming pool and a good chance to visit the Danube Delta. The food is also good, although pricy. You can also eat in the village, there are people cooking for the tourists.

Room design, and the whole set up, is beautiful but the mattress was a pain, felt like it was filled with rocks, bathroom is poorly executed-very hard to avoid water spillage on the floor. Avoid ground floor rooms, if the person above walks to the bathroom you'll hear pleanty of squeaks. Sound insulation is very poor, be ready for all sorts of noises from your neighbors. Staff was 50-50, there is a tall tattooed guy at the bar who totally lacks common sense.

Had a very frustrating experience here over the course of our 3-night stay. Green Village should be considered a two-star resort, not a 4-star resort. We feel that the resort was sorely misrepresented. Hardly anyone spoke English (I know how I'm going to sound, but I'll risk it since they told us English wouldn't be a problem), so it was very difficult to learn about the delta, the village, or the wildlife. Many of the facilities they boasted were either closed or non-existent upon our arrival. They also lost our bags when we were departing from the resort to head back to the mainland. We had to wait an extra hour and a half until they located them and could shuttle them to us at the boat dock, which put us way behind schedule getting to the airport in Bucharest. We will not come back to Green Village again.

Nice weekend, away from everything else.

Because it's awesome. The only place where nature is so close but you also have everything you need to eat sleep clean.

Return to the nature, became child again, pure happyness…
