The owners and staff are very friendly and careful. Food, drinks and sweets are all homemade and fantastic good tasting. There is a surprisingly large library available for guests. And si much more.

Everything is perfect. The food, the owner, the staff, the surroundings, the animals (a lot of them), the rooms. We strongly recommend it. See you soon, Pensiunea Dacica. :)

The last portion of the road is not ideal (about 7km dirt road), but once there, be prepared for a quiet and relaxing stay in very comfortable and clean rooms, with lots of things to see and do in a 30km radius. If curious, ask the owners, they can also organize excursions. The library has lots of books and board games if the weather is not ideal, and you can also watch dvds there. The food is absolutely amazing, from locally grown produce, the staff is friendly and you can communicate very well with the owners in several languages (French, Italian, English, German). If you have extra wishes, they will go out of their ways to make sure you are happy. No phone signal last time I've been there but free Wi-Fi and you can pay by card!

Its a little paradise, not more to say.

Fabulous off-the-beaten-path pensiunea run by the amazing Norman. Cozy and comfortable rooms, wireless connectivity, and excellent food prepared by the charming cook and her staff. Across the street is an uphill trail to Piatra Rosie, the ruins of an ancient Dacian fortress. There are also other historic sites with an hour's drive. Highly recommended.

Just perfect, location, accomodation, food (hmm soo good), and the hosts are a sea of kindness. Perfect for families with kids as an extremely large yard is available and the lack of traffic makes it as safe as it can be.

This is one of the best places on earth, and I've been around a bit. Incredible nature setting close to the mysterious Dacian fortresses. The accommodation is clean and of good standard and the food is out of this world. All the staff go out of their way to help and are very friendly. All in all you should not miss this gem even if it's for a short stay.
