Worst experience ever! At dinner one 10 year old girl took 3 bananas and the owner grabbed her and accused her of stealing in front of everyone! A dosends of parrents intervened and the owner call all of them alcoholics! Actually the owner is accused of 70 million fraud with fruit sales maybe he has some psicological issues with bannanas! Run! Run! Far away from this place!
The rooms me and my family stayed in were horrendous. The wood that made the bed frames were not sanded and could have easily given us splinters, and the room was definitely not clean when we checked in. The serves in the dining hall were unorganized and seemed very bored and inattentive. The views were amazing and the food was pretty good but I did see a lack of professionalism in the kitchen especially when it came to cleanliness and food prep. The location is amazing though. Went for a 3 hour hike (round trip, there and back) to see the Sequoia tree the place is named after and another day went to visit the near-ish Bride's Veil Waterfall. These two things made the stay worthwhile but I think they could have done better for what we were paying.
