No need to go. Receptionist very arrogant and rude. Refused to serve us drinks (for 5 people) because they had a private party to promote local tourism (how ironic! ) going on. Sad because it does not represent in anything what real Transylvania is.

A nice, clean place just out of town, with friendly, ready-to-wait-on-you people. Good food, even on the more sophisicated side. Have seen only the restaurant; the rest of the building might be the sane: kitschy, designed to please the masses, who probably invade it in the summer to also take advantage of the open-air swimming pool.

Very good hotel and best restaurant. The food very good and the unbeatable attention thanks to our waiter Adrián. We'll be back!

Good hotel with nice facilities and nice surroundings. The rooms are very nice. Clean. Weird is that you have to get out in the parking for accessing the breakfast restaurant.

Today I have to inform everybody of the absolute disgusting meal the was offered or presented to my and my guest, so much so the waiter admitted he did not give a toss about the meal, its new year and this is how it is, you pay for weather you like it or not, and we really do that care if what arrived at you table was good or not and or what you actually ordered. Vote out of 10… Minus 50!

What a wonderful place. A huge amount of work was put here in order to conceive and build such a place. Very good food, the service is even better. I think it is one of the best places to eat and drink in Transilvania. The place has a special atmosphere and there is also a hotel available if you want to spend more time around. Wonderful wonderful wonderful, I have only kind words for this establishment.

Very friendly staff, rooms very clean and well maintained. The breakfast has a large selection. The dishes from the menu are simply a treat.

The place to stay in this city, beautiful mix of medieval and modern. Organic oriented also.

I would not send my dogs to this hotel. Service appalling food disgusting! I was in Romania for a wedding and was recommended this hotel this is what was dished up for a breakfast.

Gorgeous hotel, comfy rooms and a great restaurant with tasty food! Also — very nice staff and the medieval decorations take you back in time. All in all, a cozy environment. I recommend it if you pass by Baia Mare — it’s the no. 1 place to stay!

Gorgeous location and tasty food, but a total lack of organization. We discussed one thing for our wedding and then some else or nothing was respected. It's disheartening when you arrive at your wedding and you start looking for things that are out of place or missing. And then you find out they were changed only on that morning. Literally, we had our agreement done the evening before and in the morning it was another show altogether. It's a beautiful location for going to the pool or having a nice dinner, but for events I would not recommend this place. Unless you will plan, organize and set up everything yourself. And by the way, why is there always something wrong with the baths? In this location, the water had almost no pressure and, the irony, it wasn't draining fast either.

Bad service, lack of organisation. Don't, under any circumstances, have your wedding here. I was just a guest at a wedding but I was unhappy, imagine the bride and groom…

Excellent hotel and facilities with friendly staff. For Romania the cost per night is expensive for the matrimonial suite but worth it.
