Location is top, rooms modern and clean. Breakfast is OK according to the price. Only the parking situation is deficient. Hotel has an agreement with a nearby underground car park, but it was crowded all the time and the lady very unfriendly.

Nice service, I like the clean room, tile on the ground, really cute, the hotel is across the church, near square, nice place nice view.

The room was good enough, but the bath and shower not in the best condition. And the parking lot is a little bit complicate.

The receptionist was apparently tired with work so was very cranky during our check in process. All the other staff were nearly rude in their behaviour when asked any questions. The rooms are small and okay but furniture is aged and dated. Breakfast was quite basic and alright.

This hotel does not deserve these 3 stars! Staff unpleasant, poor breakfast being said hot cold buffet, orange juice with water, hotel very noisy by the staff, I recommend to anyone! The only good thing is that it is well located!

Nice Hotel, clean and comfortable room, but with a lousy Wi-Fi and at this time when you depend so much on communication, this is something that cannot be forgiven.

Central location, good breakfast but the room leaves a lot to be desired. Carpeted floor and not very spacious. He needs reform. Reserváramos a triple, we put on a super old pick-up bed, there was almost no room to pass to the window. There was nowhere to put a chair to sit. Two lifts with capacity for 3 people and without a lot of suitcase… There is No parking but they send you to a few meters with the concert. What I did not like was that you take the car to the parking, and they park it and you have to leave the keys. At least they should warn as not everyone likes to leave the keys to your car and you walk with the… Except for that detail the staff is attentive. I found it quite expensive for the room I was in. The positive FUEVLA location but there are more hotels in that area.

The design is dated and the common spaces, for example the breakfast room, not very attractive, to say the least. Also depending on the wildly varying prices (depending on the season) it may be a convenient place to stay because of the location, but I rather stayed in higher-category hotels in high season. They applied a higher room rate than what told when I phoned to reserve the room, but there was nothing to do since I did not record the call. Disappointing.

Good for a few nights : clean rooms and very friendly staff. The situation is amazing with only a few minutes away from Ribeira and the Douro by foot.

Best venue in middle of busy walk way close to little shops long walk down to Doura river, Wi-Fi not always working in hotel.

Very clean and breakfast excellent with big choice, they leave coffee and tea bags in room but know milk cartons, not having a fridge in the room is really annoying especially when it's hot as cold drinks go warm quick, air con a big plus point, cleaning staff do a very good job and are polite, the lift is tiny just about got the suitcases in and a couple of people and we are slim, overall good value for the money and would use again.

The hotel is central but the rooms are small and not very welcoming the breakfast buffet and quite poor value for money is not particularly good.

Front desk staff are always friendly and attentive. The rooms leave something to be desired and things do not always work properly in them (I've had problems with power/electrical and air conditioning). You can find better breakfast options in town.

The only complaint we had is noise and vibrations from the outside AC unit on the 6th floor. Otherwise good value for money.

Basic clean room, little dated. My biggest complaint is that when the room doors are opened they slam shut without fail. Most people are used to hotel doors slowly shutting, here they slam shut. It got to the point every time a door would slam shut in the hallway I would yell out "Porto! " Too bad people are not considerate and just shut the door themselves without letting it slam shut. Besides that everything else was just fine with this hotel. Location is great!

I have not been able to sleep all night, the machine of the air conditioner external sounds like a truck. On the other hand the pictures on Booking does not reflect the reality of the hotel, room small, bathroom very minimum, decoracion antigua. Not I'll be back. I do not advise.

The hotel is quite fair. It's not renovated but still in a good condition. Right in front of Santo Ildefonso Church in a quiet neighborhood. The room I stayed has some electrical problems and the contactor went off during the night. It might be a problem if you have set the alarm in the room. The breakfast is quite good. The staff is really friendly, as most of Portuguese people.

Stayed from 16 to August 18, 2014. The reception I was first given a lovely room, then after 3 hours I asked to change it because they were wrong! I got a horrible room and with air conditioning that didn't work well. The next day (after a lot of my insistence) they changed my room. Confusing.

Not a bad hotel. Internet is paid, Breakfast average, clean, comfortable.

A good place to spend a few days with our son, no frills, but clean and correct.
Rooms have air conditioning, a TV 27 inch, large wardrobe, desk and large drawers and two windows.
The bathroom is normal with shower, bidet, toilet and washbasin with mirror.
Breakfast is good with fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, various types of bread and cake, croissants, other typical Portugal croissants very rich (not natural) juices, yogurt, coffee, etc.
The only but is it dedicated to staff, which mostly and exceptions is virtually mute, as you before them, you greetings to them and as if were not.
They are thus not the waitresses of the rooms and the staff serving breakfast, which are very friendly, polite and attentive.
In general, the hotel is OK. It is not the Ritz, but as we said, it is correct.

The room is pretty good, amplua, clean and for the 4. Bath is good but it is not modern. The buffet tad scarce variety but equally bie.

We had a very pleasant time at the QI. It is within walking distance from the main train station S. Bento and both the metro bus and tram pass by — if the slight gradient from the station is bit too much after a heavy night on the town. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and has everything you need and at a very reasonable price. Spend some time at the bar before retiring for bed and chat to the friendly bar lady, Maria, who will advise on places to eat at, things to do, etc. Try booking on-line, much cheaper than walking in off the street.

A great hotel. The staff were really friendly and the hotel was modern and clean. Breakfast buffet had a good choice of good quality food. The location was good as there are some shops and a nice church right outside and you can easily walk to the main cathedral and pick up city tours there. We also managed to get the metro from the airport to the hotel no problem as its close to a station. For 50 euros (in may) this is excellent value and highly recommended.
