The best view in all Douro valley! Great breakfast and the best host you will get. Super friendly, funny and welcoming. We would definitely go back.
This guesthouse is nicely located to visit the Douro Valley. The ride through Folgosa is pretty cool and steep, but that is rewarded with an amazing view when the sun goes down (and every other moment for that matters). Parking on the parameter is possible, but not for the fainted of heart. For them, the street is a better option.
The host was not present when we arrived, but everything was nicely arranged. There are only three rooms with balcony (and not really a common room), so it's truly a guest house.
The room was very clean but quite basic. The shower ok, the Wi-Fi moderate, the bed very good.
Breakfast was really nice, freshly made, quite some Portuguese options, a self-made drink from the owner, …
We would definitely come back when visiting the Douro Valley. One star less as it lacked just a tiny bit of charm for what we payed (compared to other places we resided).

The place is amazing. Fantastic views from the balcony where we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The owner was very attentive and even brought us a breakfast that wasn’t supposed to be included. Clean and quiet up on the hill.
