One of the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Totally familiar and a friendly staff. Amazing rooms and a roof top. I loved the world picture in the dinner room and the table. Easy to get in contact to people there. Directly in the historical center and next to the river. I will come back soon to the sunset destination hostel.

This is my first hostel experience, and I think itll be hard to beat. The people who work there are highly knowledgeable about their city, always wanting to make sure their guests are having a good time, and always really interesting and fun to talk to. The whole place is clean, theres a degree of privacy that you dont see in hostels too often, and they have the best showers I have ever experienced. I highly recommend going here!

Amazing place — extra comfy large beds with curtains (oh boy, the lack of light in a dormitory! ), everything was super clean, the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, and I bet you've already read about the rooftop, so not gonna praise that unnecessarily… Also a great location — not just close to pretty much everything (especially the train station underneath :D), but also at a very busy square, so it felt very safe at night as well :)

Bring your beach towels and drinks. This place is mental. Excellently ran. Full of friendly staff. Definitely go on the pub crawl if you have a chance.

Guests are talking loudly till middle of night. Also I could not sleep because of sexual noise next to my bed. Even though I made complain of this. They did not allow to charge the room. I don’t recommend that you should not stay this hostel seriously. Now I’m writing this review with cold temperature 7℃ at the dining area.

Excellent place, very clean, is nice, and the breakfast is very good apart from the attention.

My visit to Lisbon was to be the first time I stayed in a hostel, I booked in online when I arrived in the city, and my experience blew me away! The place is just beautiful, a rooftop bar and swimming pool over looking the water & the bridge, there were even organic plants and herbs growing that you could use in the kitchen! The staff were so helpful and kind, HUGE shout out to Miguel who gave me recommendations of things to do and places to eat in Lisbon that only a local could recommend and he was such a pleasure to meet! The rooms were WAY above my expectation too, I stayed in a 4 person room. Really cosy beds with curtains that go across, with a clean and tidy bathroom opposite the bed. My room-mates were great, we hung out and when out together and had a great time! Also it was lovely to chill and socialise with some of the other residents up on the rooftop with a beer. Location-wise it was perfect for me. By the river where the buskers' music plays all day all along the bank, by the bars of Pink Street, & even walking distance to the late-night clubs (which were great fun and I met some great people). Also walking distance to Alfama where we went to a Fadu house and ate dinner. I'm aware there are apparently many good hostels in Lisbon, and I haven't tried them, but I thought this place was excellent in EVERY way and completely blew away my expectations. Dom.

Sunset destination hostel is one of the best hostels I've been to. The facilities are amazing and very clean. They have free breakfast and they organize BBQ parties on their rooftop. They also offer guided tours through the city, pub crawls and all kinds of activities. If I go back to Lisbon I will totally stay there again.

Staff is extremely helpful. Clean rooms. Great outside balcony. Walking distance to main square. Wonderful place.

Very friendly staff. The owner seems to be a highly customer oriented, employes the best staff. Also had an opportunity to meed a famous artist who was asked to design the interior of the hotel. This shows the level of high people's skill. Full value of money. A challenge same value not possible in the most costly hotels, comparing a 5 star. I stayed there in May 2017, best hotel experience of my life. Few people who were naturally best were Steven — Deborah Carolina Agnes Victor — Who did my booking was very professional and did my booking at different rooms on different dates as available. As also I was not getting a booking in a stretch. He customized and did a filter kind of a search and saved my pain to look for a hotel last minute… My apologies for my good review coming so late. I have another booking next week on 11 — 14 Feb 2017. Some of the staff mentioned above at request I got a picture which if I have uploaded online Google maps. Keep up the good work. Portugal is proud of such places.

A beautiful jewel in a privileged setting. Great view of the Tagus, close to the transport. Staff with small care for guests and always available 24/24h.

Good Location, nice staff. The hostel is pretty cool. It's clean and the rooms are nice. What I didn't like we're the lockers. You don't need to lock it up because you can crack it easily. There is a nice rooftop area with a pool and a few barbecues a week. The staff is very friendly and helps Everytime. What I also didn't like was the noise from the rooftop till 12pm. But I would come here again.

Great place with AC and a pool. Breakfast is included and you can store your food in the fridge. I enjoyed it. Its open to outsiders too so you meet lots of people in the rooftop lounge. Shower sucks cause you have to keep pushing the button to get the water running. Otherwise, great place. I would pay the difference and stay at this hostel. Great location, awesome staff and rooms are specious.

Very nice hostel in a central area. The service was outstanding friendly and the rooms are clean and good. At night you hear the sound from the train station — what was no problem for us. You have an included breakfast what is very nice, even if it is not the biggest. Conclusion: great hostel in central location. Absolutely recommondable.

Terrible experience! It took 30 minutes to get served! And when questioned about the drinks the answer was very unprofessional and extremly irritating! I will never come back! I am amazed at such unconsideation! The so called unprofessioal was Tiago!

I didn't have as great of an experience as the other reviews I've seen. My room was located in a busy area with too few bathrooms. I would stay again in a different part of the hostel. Pros: — Great location by the water, train station, bars, restaurants, etc. — Awesome staff, all were helpful and friendly — Breakfast was minimal and busy but the best I've had in a hostel — Rooftop lounge and food were frequently used and a great place to hang out and meet others. Service was a little slow at times but the tasty burger made up for it. Cons: — Twin private room was located in a hallway that nearly everyone on the second floor passes by. Loud footsteps and talking right outside the door at all hours. Bring earplugs. — Mysterious bug bites all over my face, arms, and hands. Over 10 bites in a 24 hour period. Very itchy. These weren't bed bugs, possibly mosquitoes. — Not enough bathrooms. Every time I used the restroom someone would jiggle the hangle or try to open the door. The shower water was warm at best. Luckily they were always very clean.

This hostel is seriously perfect. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were large. The bathrooms were nice and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There's also a rooftop terrace that has a nice view of the city, a bar and a pool. We only got to stay one night but we would gladly stay again!

Great place to stay in Lisbon. Awesome, helpful stuff. Good facility, almost always clean except morning and evening rush hours but it is more about people using it than about hostel management. Really, really good breakfast, only thing is that you can not start earlier than 8am (my breakfast is at least for an hour). Great viewpoint on the roof with Zebra bar.

Excellent hostel in city centre. Great and clean facilities, big kitchen. The ambient is party oriented, with a roof bar and plenty of activities organised for the guests, but the rooms aren't noisy at all.

A great Hostel! Very nice Staff, full breakfast with pancakes, a Rooftop Bar, clean facilities, nice rooms, and in a good location. Everything for an unbelievably cheap price! This is practically as good as it gets!

Easily the best hostel that I've stayed at in Europe. Amazing rooftop with a pool, delicious breakfast, situated near good restaurants and right next to the train. So much character and nice touches to the hostel.
