Terrific location in the heart of the city. Easy to walk most places. The inn is one floor in a building that was constructed in the 1700's… very cool.
Rooms are small but nicely appointed and the bed was very comfy.
The best thing about Downtown Inn is the propeieter, Vanda, who is welcoming and incredibly helpful and kind.

Location super convenient. It is very central and perfect to visit the city, you can walk everywhere.
The room is clean and with all necessary amenities.
Vanda is an amazing host always available for information and advices on restaurants, places to visit and she does her best to accommodate any request.
Lisbon Downtown Inn is a great solution to enjoy the city.

Other than the convenient location, here are some warnings to note: (TLDR: main issue-mouldy and rusty showers, very loud plumbing and sewage smell)
1. Instructions to find the place was not descriptive enough as there was no signage on the front of the door. After many times passing by it we finally saw a sign on the door jamb so you can only notice it if you are looking at the proper angle. Once you get inside it is also pitch black. There was again no details of where the light switch was and how it was located on the second floor.
2. The hallways are extremely narrow. To get to the room, you must go single file. Between other units is also very close to each other.
3. The building is clearly very old so there is also an 'old' smell that is masked by strong artificial scents which almost make it worse. This triggered my asthma as I was always coughing when I was in the room.
4. After using the sink, shower or toilet, there is a loud plumbing sound and sewage smell.
