Legendary Porto Hotel withdrew money from my credit card without permission, although my hotel bill was already fully paid. They refunded me 3 hours later, but because of currency exchange rates the money they refunded reflect in my credit card statement as 10 Euro less than the money they withdrew. They now refuse refuse to refund me the 10 Euro, despite the fact that they without reason or permission drew money from my credit card. Out of common decency the hotel should refund my loss.

OK hotel and great location but I have never ever experienced such a bad service anywhere in the world — and believe me, I have travelled the world. Nobody smiles at you or even return your good morning wishes. The food at the cafeteria is good but they don’t seem to want to sell it to you. Today we sat at the table for about twenty minutes, only customers, but nobody came to offer us menus. Thank god for McDonald’s across the street! I would actually like to leave early but we still have four nights left. And believe me, we are very low maintenance… We won’t be coming back.
