In the vicinity of the property, the Varadouro bathing area and Porto do Comprido offer natural pools for sea and sun bathing with the Capelinhos Volcano for company. Guests were able to venture out and discover Faial Island by land and sea, from off-road tours to whale and dolphin watching.

What a nice and peacefull place to stay. The lady in the reception is very friendly and helpfull. The appartments are big, clean and have an amazing view. A rental car is a must. Thanks the service!

Would definitely recommend if visiting Faial. Lovely, well equipped apartments, beautiful views and a great games room and pool not to mention the donkey rides! The views are unbeatable and the owners cannot do enough to help. The highlight was having a breakfast basket delivered to us in the morning which our children loved collecting and opening.
Our only regret was the Caldeira was shrouded in cloud during our visit so we missed that particular view but it means we have to come back ☺️
