The hotel staff have bad manners.
the lady who runs the shop is lovely and the people in the restaurant are nice aswell. The reception staff have no manners and are racist this is not a hotel for British people. There was never any sunbeds people would reserve them with towels but they would not be in use when I complained about this was told to lie on the grass like a dog. The toilet broke. Our water got cut off. And on the last night I couldnt sleep due to banging on my celing when I complained about this I was told I was making noise. This is a lie. I dnt understand what makes this place 4 star? rooms could do with a lick of paint would never go back. The receptionist told me we had to wear mask sunbathing by the pool but nobody was doing so. Avoid dnt be fooled by the pictures. Nothing near the hotel so had to get uber's everywhere.

This is our third stay here-we love the area and the staff is always friendly and helpful!

Just returned from short break and we had an amazing time. The room and hotel are so clean, excellent facilities and the staff are fantastic. We’d only booked a one bed apart for 2adults and a child and were a little worried about size but needn’t have been — plenty of space. Even out of season there were places to eat and drink and we loved that it was a little out of the way. Reception were always available to help and we really hope to return soon!

Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, the food is great and the pool area is kept very cleam.

We returned from 2 weeks at the Vitor’s Plaza yesterday and have all had a very lovely relaxing holiday, the rooms were clean and spacious, and cleaned daily by friendly staff. There was all you needed to cook for yourself, a fridge with a freezer, air conditioning and a spacious balcony, there’s access to washing facilities by the supermarket for your clothes, an airer and an ironing board and iron. The room has a safe you can use on arrival with no extra fees. The hotel concierge were friendly and accommodating and keen to help. I would say there is great potential for a lovely friendly atmosphere in the evenings but this just isn’t happening and the entertainment isn’t attended by residents for whatever reason… there is a snack bar which is well run BUT I was slightly disappointed with the quality of the food, could be amazing as service was spot on… The pool is just lovely and well designed, the shop had a wonderful selection of inflatables and the edge of the pool is sloped making is great fun for the kids to slide in… Then there’s Filipe… the fabulous guy that takes care of the pool, stops people leaving towels on beds all day (he stole mine), gets to know everyone by name, a little bit about who you are and has fun with you, he also get drinks from the bar and delivers them to you on a tray, that he otherwise spins whilst strolling round the pool (ask him to try his thumb).

Yes this place I have stayed. The rooms are clean, and the hotel pool. Is lovely and very good service from youny fippli… this young lad is very great with the people, and helps you in every way he can. He is a big model for this hotel, and does deserve to go to the top… I would put more speakers around the pool
and maybe someone at times should help fippli out as he is very busey helping people out with bar snacks
. Also I would put another rail on top of the wall beside the pool to stop young jumping off… it might stop someone having a accient… and I think the hotel should hav a lifeguard at the pool at all times… if somethimg went wrong the hotel will be at fault… these are only points and good ones at that… very good place thanks for the stay.

Just stayed here for 10 nights. Amazing! lovely, spacious, clean room. Pool area great. Snack bar good. Has a gym and laundry area. Mini golf for the kids too.
the absolute only thing id say as a negative is the distance from praia da rocha — its about €6.50 euros in a taxi, which adds up if you head there every day. There is a free shuttle bus but it only runs twice a day. Will deffo be staying again.

I am just back from an amazing 6 days at Vitors Plaza. Staff are very very friendly! The food in the snack bar was beautiful, had breakfast every morning down in the restraunt kept me going most of the day. Building is very clean, always cleaners around brushing and mopping floors.
Complimentry taxi bus was great pick up every morning and Luis (The driver) was very friendly and helpfull the whole week!
Got the open top bus one of the days, would definetly recomend this! Got to go around see alot of different wee towns.

Just spent a lovely week at Vitor's Plaza from 14th October. All the staff were so friendly and polite. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating, the courtesy bus driver was fantastic, always had a smile on his face. Bar staff were great, particularly Joseanne who was very friendly. The restaurant staff were amazing, very efficient, after only 2 nights the guy (sorry I don't know your name)!, remembered our room number without us showing our card. He was so efficient and friendly. You were never waiting long for your meal. The only negative is that from halfway through the holiday, the breakfast was not as hot. The variety of food was spot on, ranging from fish, to pasta to meat, desserts were delicious too. The location was perfect for us as a family, away from the busyness and noise of town, we didn't mind walking to Praia Da Rocha, or Portimao but it was nice to have the option of the courtesy bus. There was an Adventure Golf about a 15 minute walk away which was great fun. The pool was a good size, the only issue really was that the sun went behind the Villas so you had to move onto a different lounger, wasn't really a problem for us though as we were out most of the week and only stayed round the pool one afternoon. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and we had a lovely view from our balcony (room C106). Was lovely watching the sunrise each morning. The cleaners were round most days, replacing towels and leaving fresh toilet rolls.

Fantastic apartments modern, spacious and clean. Staff really polite, professional and helpful. Special thanks to Paulo at the mini market who was really helpful and kind and Louis who drove the courtesy bus who made great suggestions on places to visit. Can't wait to come back.

We have just finished an amazing two weeks at Vitor's Plaza. We went to Praia da Rocha and Portimao on the complementary bus on several days, the driver Louis (I think) was really friendly and gave us lots of ideas and tips of where to visit. There was activities at the hotel all most everyday and night ran by the lovely Rui. Those two people alone made it a fantastic stay for us. As we were self catering we went to a few different restaurants whilst we have been here, Por Do Sol and Big reds were only a 20 minute walk from the hotel and were fantastic. There were several places along the front of the harbour in Alvor which also gave fantastic service. All of the staff were really friendly and spoke brilliant English. We will definetly be returning!

Just arrived home after our 3rd visit to the Vitor's Plaza and we loved it so much, we didn't want to leave. Sadly though, all good things must come to an end. Had a great time, with great people. Love the place and people so much we will definitely be back next year.

We spent a wonderful week at Vitor's Plaza. Excellent for children. Clean and spacious accommodation with everything you need. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There was entertainment nearly every day/evening and Rui was fantastic with all. Our son loved playing Donkey! Travelling with a child with Down's Syndrome can be a challenge but Vitor's Plaza was a wonderful experience for us all and we were made to feel very welcone. We were full board and all the food we had was tasty and there was always a varied choice each day. We would highly recommend this place as long as you don't mind being a little bit inland, thus needing a taxi to Alvor or Portimaio.

Decent but basic accommodation that is quite expensive for the quality. At two-thirds the price would be a good value. Very simple rooms with good basic services inside the compound grounds.

Satisfied experience in this 4 start apartment resort. The room for three adults is quite big with a convenient terrace but the bed sofa isn't very large for an adult, a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it's a bit basic all the kitchen cutlery and pans.

Big problem managing sunbeds! Everyone rushes at 9:30 a. M. And 10 a. M. More seats! Evening entertainment always the same every year and every week. It's a good thing there's a great animator!
Lack of aquagym classes, mini disco,.
Too bad because the hotel is nice.

We have been going to Vitors Plaza for 4 years. Very kid friendly, great service and lots to do. We hope to go again next year. Thank you for making our experience enjoyable.

Just spent an amazing 10 days here and cannot fault a thing.
Fabulous facilities and such friendly and accommodating staff. Special mention to Joseanne (forgive if spelling wrong) at the bar who was always very friendly, accommodating and great with the children. Also the fabulous cleaning staff, who even made up the bed with our children’s toys in funny positions much to their delight.
From reception to the entertainment everything was a wonderful. Perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle and noise of town, however close enough to get around cheaply and easily. Our two girls loved the playground, crazy golf and kids pool.

Everything fits the description on the site, clean, comfortable, the rooms are great light. Big parking, no problem with places.
No sunbeds for sunbeds near the pool or we didn't figure out where they were given out.
You need a car to go to the beach.
Good location, on the edge of Portimayo. It's quiet and cozy.

Fabulous clean modern apartments… only downside is it’s abit far from alvor & Portimão. We were 2 adults & 3 kids. Taxi are cheap but it all adds up after a week. Would have been cheaper hire a car which I would definitely recommend. Bar food is ok & handy, nothing spectacular. Mini mart on site, one further up the round near roundabout which is cheaper & more product range. Chicken tavern @ the roundabout is a nice cheap eatery for lunch €8 for a delicious proper chicken kebab.

Highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The renovated, pleasant and comfortable apartments. Both the cleanliness of the apartments and the common areas very well. Nice pool and good breakfast buffet. Located in a quiet and well-connected place with the best beaches in both Portimão and Alvor. Excellent value for money. Ideal for holidays with children.

Absolutely fantastic place staff are great rooms clean and comfortable onsite shop for bits you might need we found ourselves eating in the restaurant every night even though we went self catering because the food was so good never had a bad meal the steak was cooked to perfection medium done reasonably priced in comparison to other eateries in the area. Lovely cafe / delicatessent up the road across round about they do chocolate croissants in a morning to die for cost next to nothing the location is brilliant really short taxi ride or ten minute walk to 3 different resorts but far enough away to not get the noise all in highly recommended.

Well what can I say iv really loved been here the apartments are so spacious an very clean the bed was so comfy had everything iron ironboard hairdryer pool area is fab. The staff where brilliant couldnt do enough for you so friendly looking to book again for September.

Really nice place to stay in. Apartment's kitchen has pretty much all the equipment you might need. There is little store on site, but I recommend going for food shopping in the near by Lidl. Or Aldi-10mins drive. Rooms are cleaned on daily basis. There is a restaurant and bar on site as well as gym and play room and laundry to use. Staff is very polite and helpful. Local beaches and sightseeing with 10-20mins drive. Night clubs amd more restaurants in Lagos, 25mins drive or in Albufeira, around 35-40mins drive. Every room has double balcony with little table amd 4 chairs and amazing view.

Yet another great stay ay Vitors. Will hopefully be back soon xx.

Been coming here once or twice a year for many years and never fails. Staff very helpful. Immaculate pool area and surroundings. Self catering facilities good. Daytime activities for the young and old are well organised.

My Wife and I have been holidaying here for over 15 years. You will need a car if you want to see the real Portugal but Taxi`s are so cheap you can see Alvor by using them as you please. It is a lovely place to stay with all rooms perfectly clean and the maid service is impeccable.

Everything is fine except the bedding.
We slept very, very badly. It's a shame because this property is beautiful.
Breakfast is very basic. The products are not of high quality.
The restaurant is good but the quantities are minimal.

There are only dinners, but it is not buffet the menu has only 2 first, 2 seconds and 2 desserts to choose from. Very little variety. If you go with kids it's hard to like something.

If you are looking for the ideal hotel comfort and luxury. If you like hearty breakfast you'll have to wait.

Excellent holiday complex with modernised spacious apartments and good facilities. Special Hi to Maria in the cafe with her unfailing smile.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well-conditioned. The facilities have both indoor and outdoor pools, bar, laundry, shop, bar, buffet, Gym mini golf basketball Tennis Ect. The reception is wonderful, above all the attention of the girl a 10. Back.

Apartment very clean, decor very modern, house keeping very good, food excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, plenty of room and beds round the pool area, kept very clean and tidy, entertainment if you wanted it, lovely place would definitely recommend the Victor's plaza for a holiday.

Absolutely immaculate hotel and the rooms are beautiful, the pool is Devine, myself, partner and 10yr old son loved it… we cant wait for our return visit.

We have been here a few times but not for 10 years. The place has been upgraded and the apartments are spacious and clean. All the public areas are clean, the pool has plenty of sun loungers and is generally peaceful. The staff are very welcoming and friendly especially the young lady in the on site supermarket. We will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Love this place. Second time here and will be back again next year. Great place and great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Will do whatever they can to make you feel at home. Great entertainment day and night. Great food too. Great work everyone. Would not stay anywhere else.

The accommodation was fabulous air conditioning in all rooms and the apartment was large and clean the staff very helpful and friendly the food not the best menu not much of a selection we ate their first night it was OK not suited for children. The hotel and swimming pool the kids loved it. Taxi to anywhere around 8 euro for a family of 5.

It's amazing, we've been here numerous times and cannot fault the apartments /staff. All the staff make sure you have everything you need during ur stay. You never feel that anything is too much trouble. The site has just had a renovation this year so it's even more stunning. Cleanliness is second 2 none. We love this place, I was hesitant in reviewing it ad its such a great gem Nd sharing our experience.
