It’s my favourite place for 15 years. My whole family love it there. Amazing staff and in particular Odete and Nuno. The staff make the experience so special.

The resort was well maintained. The apartments are huge, good size rooms and very spacious living area and balcony over looking the pool and the marina. It's very close to all the amenities — supermarket, restaurants, shops, the main town and the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights and although it was a good experience, we have some complaints. Breakfast was normal, just the usual food and drinks. I had to pay 1 euro every day to have a nice expresso because the hotel only provides expresso in a machine where all the drinks are served and it was very bad. The breakfast price is expensive for what it's given and we had to pay for the coffee again. Horrible. The last day of our staying we, accidently dirt some towels with make up,, we are 3 women, me and my two daughters and my husband, and they made us pay 27 euros for the towels claiming their were ruined but the fact is that they not even tried to wash them because later, in the hotel, we washed them and they we clean normally, we bring them as souvenirs. Very bad. It's not right. We will never return again to this hotel.

Literally staying here at the moment but compelled to write a review… Apartment spacious and comfortable, great location … But… Staff are disinterested, almost to the point of being rude, poor service and response to any minor request. No facilities for late departures as in shower room! Public bathroom only! Are they just tired, as coming to the end of the the season, or simply too big to care? Lagos is unchanged and charming but disappointed by marina club lagos.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was clean and spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. Busy but nice pool area. The hotel is right in the marina, but about 15 minute walk to the town centre.

Nice hotel. Not sure if it would be 4* in UK. Studio apartment spacious, good wardrobe space but could have had few more hangers. House keeping average-believe they are short staffed & have a large workload, often wanting to clean 9.30am or 5.30pm which was not convenient. Reception staff pleasant but not the best. Food & restaurant staff excellent; especially the young lad at pool bar-very pleasant & helpful. Pool surroundings excellent, always beds available however the pool was freezing!?!? Overall very pleasant stay.

It was perfect! We were with our children 4 years 7 years 10 years. Not very interesting for the 4 year old but the boys ok. Otherwise the least is that there was a lot of wind. But its it's the weather. Otherwise very good crew. Thank you for keeping the kids busy.

Very quiet The residence has a golf a large swimming pool. Five minutes from the beaches and 10mm from Lagos a warm bread is hanging on your door every morning.

Excellent studio room in a great location.

We stayed a week in one of the 3 bed appartments. Location is excellent, close to bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Short walk into Lagos. Close to train and bus station. Great views of marina. The hotel has on site bar and restaurant. We didn't use either as we are family of 5 and the restaurant was expensive compared to local eateries! Our biggest issue was with the pool. As it is unheated the outdoor pool was freezing in Spring temps of up to 18 degrees. We hoped to use the indoor pool which although tiny, had a cost of €10 per person. They also don't allow children under 16 in AT ANY TIME despite it being empty every time we went past! We weren't aware of the no kids policy before arrival so were really disappointed! We pointed this out to reception staff but they were unhelpful!

(-) The beds are narrow and uncomfortable, as well as very low. Wi-Fi does not have an adequate power. There could be more plugs, at least on both sides of the bed.
(+) The access by car is good. Friendly and fast staff. The room is very spacious with a well equipped kitchen and very clean. The terrace is spacious and comfortable, it has even clothesline. The bathroom is spacious, with everything you need. There is a pool, but we didn't use it for the weather. It is from the center of Lagos about 15 minutes walk, but next door there is a shopping center with restaurants. A supermarket within a 5-minute walk and plenty of free parking all around the hotel. The rooms are well-insulated. Otherwise all well, it is a very suitable place for couples, even of a certain age and families with children.

Great location in the harbour area just across the causeway from the lovely town centre of Lagos. Accommodation was perfect for a group holiday, spacious, clean, modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the a la carte menu was really good! Enjoyed it so much we have re-booked — can't wait.

Loved the big, extremely clean rooms. The staff were excellent. Extremely friendly and so helpful even when faced with a family of 20 and all their needs. The food was good and the bar staff were fabulous.

Our stay here was short notice and that was no problem with them. The place was beautifully presented clean. Everything we needed for our stay to be comfortable was avaliable to us… lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be back to stay when they have space for us…

Went for a meal. Half a roast chicken. Chips & salad plus small glass of wine. 8 euros excellent value. And good service.

Worst hotel experience ever. Dark haired 'Director' on the front desk changed the price twice on the room extension and doubled the price on check out for a 15min international phone call. To top it off I asked for an express check out — "please charge the last night to my credit card I must catch the train". Upon leaving I was unlawfully stopped by hotel security at the Directors request and the police were called — they could not believe it when they arrived. I never refused (in fact gave permission) to pay but this was his reaction! No apology on payment and I had to spend 4 hours waiting for the next train. A real shame as the other employees in the Hotel were quite lovely.

The hotel can be nice but the room service is worth it. We were with a bottle of gel for three days we had to bathe with the shampoo.

Arriving by pre-booked shuttle from the airport, it took around 60-70 minutes from Faro. We were allowed into our room 4 hours earlier than the official check in time, we were met by a very welcoming reception and clean throughout. Our twin room was very spacious with a well stocked kitchen, there was next to no noise in the evening and very comfortable beds made for a good night sleep. The hotel is right on the marina with a number of bars and restaurants within 2 minutes walk, for the centre of Lagos maybe a 15 minute walk. Recommended stay, would have no problem coming back whatsoever.

Great location, large rooms and very clean and all 10 minutes from downtown.

Fabulous location, excellent staff, wonderful pool we really did not want to leave. Our first visit to Portugal will be remembered always.

A good place to visit the Algarve.

We booked a room at the last moment. We have been given however without balcony (important to be able to spread) as provided by the reservation. For the rest the structure is modern, with pool close to the center.

Although a nice hotel there was little comfort in either the rooms or balcony every bit of seating was hard plastic. The sun loungers had seen better days. The restaurant food was good but the restaurant lacked any atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was good. Will not be rushing back to stay again though.

Excellent reception well predisposed to give all the necessary information. Spacious apartments with good service in general. Important you have free parking.

I never though I could find such a condescending management. Luckily I stayed here only for two nights, at first we could immediately appreciate the drain pipes of our shower and bathroom: we loved having a shower in our own water because they could not drain… At night unpredictable alarms from the bottom of the building (from an unreachable technical area) woke us up at 3AM, extraordinary experience! However, I did not know he best had yet to come. The following night I thought I could feel better turning on the air conditioning… what a bad idea: it did not work! Could you immagine what a night we had! Portugal In June can really make you feel the heat! When, in the morning, I asked to speak with the manager, she did not even bother to interrupt her coffee beak she was having. Through the receptionist, let us know we would had to wait for indefinite time for her to come back or we would have had to send an email in order to receive official apologies. I did not find a reason to write the mail, neither the time to complain… somehow I dot understand how such a manager can not comprehend the meaning of her rule. I only hope someone can read my experience and, perhaps, pick a different place to stay.

The plant itself is quite sober.

It is not far from the center or far from the beach (10 minutes walk). At Easter it wasn't saturated. Nearby there are several locals for a drink or dinner but it is worth to get close to the center of Lagos. From the Marina they depart almost all the boats to visit the caves and the cliffs. It includes free covered parking which is accessed from the room.
The worst, although it has a kitchen has no dishwasher or detergent so you have to take it all. And the bathroom, although it is spacious and bright, does not have a comfortable shower.

When cleaning, it is not taken so strictly, but otherwise no complaints.

We had a room in the C building on the first floor with views of the pool. Since it was low season, not much was going on and thus quiet and there were enough chairs available at all times. The location is very good — each in 15-20min. To the beach or to the centre as well as to the supermarket. There are a number of cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Studio had a pleasant size. The kitchen was very well equipped. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception and in the café/bar.
For a 5 * rating, the following did not fit: room safe was quite small (notebook did not fit in, which was possible in other hotels) and for that you have to pay extra. Alternative was to deposit it at the reception (there was only a loose note with the respective room. Placed on it, without any confirmation or proof of a self). TV had extremely poor picture — & sound quality and couldn't be better adjusted (too bad for rainy days).

Our suite was spacious and modern furnished. The staff is friendly. The prices are moderate. We stayed there in the low season. So I cannot judge how the hotel runs under full load. Great was the high average age of the other guests. Among the 70-year-olds, the 40s are as smooth as a teenager. Yes!

We only had the standard rooms, but for four stars I expect a little bit more than cheap plastic chairs on the balcony. The kitchen on the room is very good from the facilities. The room service was very good. The food in the restaurant is unfortunately not worth mentioning. The food is partially prepared and does not correspond to the level of four stars. However, the location is top. Not a 10 minute walk and you are in the old town of Lagos or on Maia Praia Beach. Bus leaves right outside the door and with this one comes directly to other beaches directly at the Ponta da Piedade or Behind.
A shopping market is 5 minutes away by car or walking distance.

A home away from home, this is a perfect landing place to settle into the energy of the Algarve, with an incredibly friendly, loving, and helpful staff. Definitely the best place to stay in when visiting Lagos!
