There are many different reviews about this place. I leave my experience. We traveled with my wife and child. Ordered through Buckingham, with a full prepayment. That is, in fact came and we were handed the keys to the room. That's where the tin started. A room in the basement, it has two two-story beds, dampness, stench of mold, and a small window almost at the ceiling with an exit directly to the main street, and even without any curtains! The room was recently flooded as there were traces of water everywhere on the walls and a swollen toilet door. The administrator categorically refused to demand that the other room be provided or returned, explaining the lack of spare rooms and the inability to return the money paid through Buckingham. Since we settled very late we had no strength to argue. My wife persuaded by the fact that it was only for the night. And that was another mistake. Then came out the main joint — the sound. In the room was perfectly over-ventilated noise of some motor, absolutely not isolating the doors to the corridor and like a cherry on the cake — creaky beds. Yes, I understand the hostel is cheap. And only for that one star. Yes, I understand we are non-standard clients for such institutions. We need a private room. But! In a civilized modern state, such conditions should not exist at all! Can't provide the minimum you need so don't expose at all! Even the basic task — to satisfy the human need for sleep has not been realized! It's a complete disgrace.

The staff was nice, but it was extremely hot in the rooms where it was uncomfortable to sleep. There was no fans or ventilation at all. The beds were awful and squeaked every time you moved, so unless everyone in the room sleeps like a dead rock you would get woken up all night. In addition, the location seems great until you’re trying to sleep. This street must be very popular with the motorcycles because you can hear them flying down the street and making a ton of noise all night long. The hostel overall is okay, but if you want to sleep at all… do not stay here.

The rooms are a normal bunk bed, each has 2 light sockets, the kitchen dishes tea coffee, a place on the patio, and a drink and smoke and relax, inside the wai fai norm pulls.

A good place to stay. Dense breakfasts. Excellent repairs.

A great hostel of European level of service! A very convenient location in the heart of Warsaw! :)

Staff totally unprofessional, they promise you something and they do the opposite. It is written no prepayment needed and then suddenly, they cancel my reservation 2 days before my arrival, leaving us with no reservation and then we called to try to solve the problem, we even proposed to pay the full price but he kept repeating the same sentence and not trying to give me any solution. If u don't want any surprises, be very careful with this hostel.

Toilet on one floor, out of three, there are two showers and two toilets, one of the showers was closed, all (men and women) share the same place. I didn't look at the kitchen, there are two machines on the territory, one with snacks and the other with drinks. Hostels probably isn't for me.

Young members of the staff are very loud. Oftentimes they themselves shout during the night. They curse like sailors. Very vulgar and impudent, they make squalid comments about the guest. Not everyone is like that (at least I hope so…) Pluses (I've decided to add them to be just) : — you're able to cook freely -located in the city center -helpful guy with tatoos and nice cleaning ladies.

The hostel is very good. The reception is open 24 hours and very friendly. No noise is heard (at least I have not heard anything). The only ' ' bad ' ' is that the buffet has little variety and rare things to eat breakfast like pickle and mayonnaise and also that every time you move in the bed they sound the piers. Otherwise everything's fine.
Well there are some areas that are a bit dirty, for example my sheet looked like cardboard and when I opened it it had a hole.
It is a 15 minute walk from the centre (very well located).

Awesome hostel! Awesome staff! Good breakfast choices. Rooms are clean and mattresses comfortable. I recommend this hostel to any tourist traveling through warsaw!

Check-in takes place without the help of staff. From this goes mess with free beds. Plus, the Sutra has a free breakfast, although I did not know it until morning and did not understand where it was written) cleanliness for tipichnooo hostel average. The main places are cleaned.

Nice hostel! The cheapest room on what hit-was in a 6-seater room for 33 PLN. The breakfast was good.

The room didn't have much to do with Booking photos but it was still good and the service was attentive.

Receptionists were very kind and polite. The room was clean and all the services were working perfectly. Suggested :)

The biggest issue is that of cleanliness. Our fist room which was a private two person bedroom was either not cleaned or cleaned very poorly. Stains on pillows were visible, remnants of spilled coffee were on the wall, and light fixtures in the room were taped together to keep them from falling apart (you could see exposed wires taped together). We immediately asked for change of sheets and when we explained in the reception, the first response was to act like they didn't understand us, when the receptionist saw the stained pillow she agreed that it is pretty disgusting. The shared bathroom on the first floor was also a disaster. There's only three shower stalls on the floor, one shower stall's shower head was broken, so you had to hold the shower head with one hand, the other shower stall's lock was broken, so that effectively left one shower for the entire floor. On any given day one would walk in and see empty tooth paste bottles, shampoo bottles, clumps of hair, all over the floor and stalls, used razors, razor stubble covering the sinks, dried spit and so on. The smell from the shared bathroom was ungodly. The second room we had after we asked for a change was only slightly better. The windows did not close properly, which meant there was a constant draft of cold air, and again we found huge stains on the sheets. The stay was not cheap either, so one would expect, even for a hostel, a minimum standard of cleanliness, and not even that was met.

If you are travelling by hostels this is pretty good, the guys at reception are very friendly, the place is clean and the rooms have heating, something indispensable in Poland. The most important thing is the price which is very economical and round about €8 and if you have the breakfast included it is great which by the way is like a small free buffet. Also not far from downtown and main street areas.

Good locate and easy to arrive by bus or walking. The worker were so so friendly. Good breakfasts but without fruit. Bad: toilet was a bit dirty and bed aren't so comfortable. Conclussion: better sleep with something in your ears. But relation price quality. If I come back to Warsaw, I'm coming back here Good if u travel solo.

I was in hostel for 12 days and it was one of the best I have been so far in Europe.
It's very clean and tidy. The staff it's also 5* they are like a group of 8 people that are always ready to help you with a smile. The location it's also awesome you have bars, restaurants, metro, bikes, markets super close. I can't really express how cool is this hostel. It's a party hostel but you can meet a lot of people from very diffrent rages of ages and that's nice! Oh and yes they have a garden and you can use for free washing machine, iron and drying machine.

Nice social space, dorms are secure, great location. Bathrooms are all shared, so not all that clean, but definitely would recommend for a short getaway.

The place is located in a main street so if you are a lighter sleep, I don t recommend. It s noisy. The rest is ok. The staff, blond guy with long hair is kind, helpful and lovely.

Great place to stay when all you need is a bed and a place to launch your expedition from. Private or shared rooms are available. Communal kitchen and dining area (wash your dishes and clean up after yourself as you would anywhere). There is a city bike station right around the corner and the metro is a few minutes walk away. The Chopin museum is just up the road as is the rest of Warsaw to explore. Really affordable, a bargain in fact. Recommended. If you're staying in a shared room the bathroom will be shared as well. Take flip flops or something for your feet in the shower. The private rooms have private bathrooms.

Clean rooms, spacious common room and well stocked kitchen. As usual, there's no elevators, but that's expected. The location was within walking distance to the waterfront, the old city and the football stadium! I would stay here again.

We stayed 1 night in a double room / shared bathroom. The location is great. Right next to the old town. Good facilities and really helpful and friendly staff (hi Sebastian :-). Splendid breakfast with everything one needs (good for vegans as well). Rooms are clean and spacious. I will definately visit again!

I stayed in Tatamka for one night. Location is in the narrow center of the city. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Lockers are available. For 7zl you can take all-you-can-eat breakfest.

It was just a real stroke of luck to find the Tatamka Hostel. The location is ideal for visiting the Old Town and it is only a few metres away from the Chopin Museum. However, when the receptionist was trying to explain this place to us the name sounded like Shopping Museum, which did not sound fascinating. The toilets and the two person shower were created to an inspiring design and are a pleasure to use. The breakfasts are very healthy, tasty and well presented, it is worth staying at Tatamka just for the breakfasts and the helpful staff. In short just perfect.

This is by far one of the best hostels I've ever been to. The staff is very friendly and tell you step by step how to get to the destination you're looking for. Also the breakfast is delicious and it costs 5 or 7zls, I don't remember. The showers and the rooms are very clean. If you are gonna spend sometime here in Warsaw, this is the best place to be. Planning to come back soon! :) Xx.

I would give a good review despite the fact, that I booked a room with a private bathroom and got a room with a shared one.
But than 100 zloty went missing from my bag, from locked room (no other guests) in a 5 minute time when I went to brush my teeth in the morning before leaving. Very nice stuff you have, stealing from your guests. /keep on that good work/s.

Lovely rooms, great breakfast service, lovely and amazing receptionist, well located… the best hostel in which I have been! I couldn't have been more lucky! 10 out of ten I recommend it and 10 out of 10 I would go back! Ps: give Ola a good tip! She deserves it!

They had a problem with the web and made mistakes with our reservation and we had to find another hostel for one night. But otherwise, when we go back, well, it's all very correct and clean.

Cool place in the area of Warsaw called Powiśle. Nice restaurants around, close to main attractions. Very clean kitchen and nice common area.

Not the best, but with a nice garden! Great HQ for a few nights out.

Great place to stay in Warsaw. Easy access to major points of interest, and located very close to the old town. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious and price is great. Everything you need.

Very nice staff. Truly awesome people. They even did some BBQ on some nights. Easy access drinks. A common room for socializing of some sort. It's near Nowy Swiat, the Presidential Palace, and the Old Square. It's also, not to far from the Mall and the Main Bus/Train station. I stayed here pretty frequently so, they even allowed me to pay late, sleep-in past checkout, and comped me one night when my card wasnt working. Gave nice recommendations for Krakow. A couple of downsides is that it's next to a road, and it was fairly normal to hear loud music from cars or the motorway passing by. As well, some of the travelers were a bit lecherous some had "extra activities" in the shared rooms since there arent that many single private rooms. A very very very small portion of the guests werent friendly, because they were just looking to get laid though that is normal but it felt more apparent here. One more thing they do, is they open the common area windows at night so in the summer, mosquitos get inside and you could get bitten.

I like this hostel. Staff did their best to comfort me. Very friendly. Good price. Clean.

1 we have considered clean the hostel completely. Overall, it was totally o. K.
2. Wi-Fi has worked; two of three PC were defective
3. Breakfast was very very easy. In particular the 12 chairs are not enough in the morning.
4. Kitchen was well equipped; It looked super new.
5. The mattresses in our room looked only good with the bed sheet.
6 shower / WC in the room were fine.
7. There are (really bad with child) so little things like that the sockets in the room were all loose, barely opened the bathroom door.
8. That the TV no longer was nice. Thus one could converse even there in the evening.
9 staff very friendly.
10 very comfortable rooms. However, one must hope that you get no rooms directly facing the street.
Tip: Compared to is a good Café there's reasonable coffee and buns.
The Central connection is very good (TOP).
