Hotel City Solei Boutique
Location: The Hotel is about 5 minutes away from the old town and the center with all its shops and restaurants and sights.
Next to the hotel is a parking lot that is also overseen and costs 40zl/10€ per day.
Entrance & Reception: Very cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff that gave us a helping hand on finding good shops, the sights and also made a reservation for us on new years eve at a restaurant (Bazar 1838). They also speak english very well so the communication was great.
Also we got a to choose a welcome drink (a beer and a wine) which the waitress brought up to our room along with some crackers.
Next to the elevator the guests can take some cookies, sweets and lollies, also there are free apples inside the elevator.
Restaurant & Bar: The rooms are small but cozy and stylish. We were served by the same waitress who was very friendly and had an eye on everything.
Because of traffic we arrived after 11 hours of driving. So we chose to eat at the hotel, but we were all alone.
The menu is small but enough and offers mainly pizza and pasta, along with salad or soup. We had a tomato soup (about 2€) and I had beet root Gnocchi with fresh rucola and goat cheese (about 5€). It was both very good and tasty.
The room: We had the comfort double which was divided into two rooms: a living room on the right and the bed room on the left, with the bathroom in betweem.
We had everything we needed and even more, even lists hanging out with stuff we could ask for at the reception if we needed anything else (like charger, socks…)
It was small but cozy and nice, very colorful and individual. We really liked it and we enjoy staying here very much so far.
It was all very clean and tidy.
Breakfast: So far it‘s the highlight! We never had such a cute small breakfast that was this great.
They pretty much offer you everything. From fresh fruit, yoghurts, a honeycomb, cereals, fresh vegetables, different salads, dumplings… to fresh made eggs, even with truffle if ordered.
