Great hotel, perfect position on the square, fantastic friendly staff, great room and restaurant also the best carbonara ever! Totally recommend this hotel and we totally enjoyed our stay.

Had 4 nights here and what location could not have been any better right in the centre.

The Imperial Hotel is situated on the corner of Krakow’s main square — a perfect location to explore the city’s sights. 10 minutes walk to Wawel castle. Rooms are a good size with modern bathrooms. Ask for a room with a city view as the courtyard view is terrible and remember to lock your door when leaving as doors don’t automatically close and lock! No hotel lobby, enter through the restaurant or side entrance and make your way to the check in level on the 1st floor (the floor above the ground floor for those coming from North America). Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a clean, pleasant place to stay when visiting Kraków.

Stayed there only for one night (wish I had stayed 5 nights there … all the time I was in Poland) Super nice rooms and the service is 110%. This hotel is at the best place in Krakow in the old town.

Excellent hotel — the staff are all lovely and friendly. Rooms very nice, the hotel is in an excellent location looking straight onto the square — I would highly recommend this hotel.

Would give zero if I could. Majority of staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Asked about the price of a Doctor around 4pm as I was feeling unwell and faint (which was met with laughs and the receptionists talking to each other in Polish). We were told we would get a call — we heard nothing back and then a Doctor turned up 6 hours later asking for 250 zloty. I couldn't pick up a prescription after being told I could and the staff did not help at all. I was diagnosed with a Virus when I got home. Avoid this hotel.

NIce hotel with a river view. The restaurant on the rooftop is really amazing with fabulous views. Rooms are pretty big and very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and communicates in English pretty well. They also have a good spa in the property. Overall a good value for money hotel.

I struggled with giving 1 or 2 stars but settled on 1 for this reason: We stayed for 4 days and nights in this hotel. Twice, after spending the day away from the hotel, we came back to our room and found that the maid had not locked our door. The first time we alerted reception of this and they told us “it’s not a problem” we have security cameras. No apology at all. The second time this happened again no apology from reception, they only said they would ask the maid why she doesn’t lock our door. We are on a long European trip and not only are all of our belongings in this room but also our passports. (We did keep the passports in the safe which is attached to a lightweight detachable shelf. ) Completely unacceptable to not lock our rooms. For this reason we will never return and I would advise others to find another hotel.

Perfect central location, beautiful rooms and atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town. We didn't get breakfast, but there are a lot of places near by to eat breakfast. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. Only downside to being so close to the centre of town, or the street noise of all the drunk and loud tourists.

I, along with 4 other people, have just returned from Hotel Imperial. We had the weekend (arrived 16th and left 19th February). What a superb stay. If anyone can find fault with this hotel I would like to know what it is that is wrong. The staff are very polite and attentive to every need. The hotel is spotlessly clean with large bedrooms The situation could not be better. Right on the square with lots of good quality restaurants. I (we) will certainly return to Krakow and the Hotel Imperial.

Due to its location it is very convenient for tourist. Rooms are not big but fine for sleeping. Staff is polit and willing to help.

A good hotel in the central location at absolutely good prices. Cleanliness and courtesy.

The noise of the elevator will haunted me for the next few weeks again. To me two principles are crucial to feel good in the hotel : the discretion and the silence, which of course the imperial hotel has not. Ladies who cleans the room are talking everyday behind the door of our room and are playing with the bottle of water in glass when putting their in the room (moreover who pays a bottle of 25cl water for a 10zloty price? ) The sheets were not cleaned or changed during 4 days, they only made the bed … Finally the breakfast was OK but nothing special and the politeness of the grooms and réceptionniste + the location are the only thing to underline here. The demolition contest in the main courtyard has also exhausted me, in fact it is probably a delivery service for the hotel but which is quite noisy again.

One of the many hotels in Kraków Center. Rooms are good and breakfast is ok. Situated right on the main square, so an ideal location. Room service available. Rooms clean and above average. Recommended if you are looking for a central hotel. Lots of staff, although they seem to be interested in drinking coffee at breakfast time, whilst the guests are in the breakfast room…

Best hotel experience ever in Europe, simplicist spacious room design with a full swing bathroom, comfortable bed set, impeccable in room SPA service, highly helpful staff was excellent in assisting organizing the whole 4 day schedule. Try the daily concerts in Churches.

Very nice place. Great land scape. Great architecture and view. Very close to restaurants. Cost and nice staff. It is a great experience in Krakow. ^^

Rooms good size and very clean. Staff were very helpful re where we should go for food and sightseeing etc
