Hostel located 10 minutes from the central square. In an unattractive Street, in an old building, the hostel is in fact an apartment on the first
floor, 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The first concern is that the toilets are in the showers… when l. Hostel is full this is a real problem.
A sixth room (8 people) is on the ground floor of the building. This increases the capacity to 38 people.
We see quickly that the website is misleading: there is no such thing as the promised 'Laundry' because you cannot access the washing machine common to the building: it is reserved to the other apartments.
Then the small kitchen area does not Cook: there's a simple microwave. No cooking or Cook plate, I have never seen this in hostel. Also do not rely on glasses or knives. The plates are made of plastic. The two mini sink water… only one!
In the living room a sofa two-seater occupies a wall, a pouf, 10 chairs, 5 stools, a coffee table and a large table for the rest. It is forbidden to move the table or chest (inside the covers out of age).
Also, the bar promised by the site does exist. Problem, it is outside at the Inn since next to the entrance of the building, but mostly it's tiny (two tables) and only serves tea or coffee. Staff changes all the time so to be potentially there 24/24. An excellent thing except when it comes to ask something: no communication between them, smile that depends on the person, investment in free fall. On one week of booking early covers were folded, the floor swept, changed garbage. After 3 days much more importantly they put paper catastrophic quality toilet.
The reason? We have the bottom of the refrigerator door hangs. We reported it to repair it even of he was ageless. The employee said that he contacted the owner. The evening we returned and a smell emerged from the fridge: it has been disconnected! All food and drinks thrown… after explanation the employee of the evening said that he was not at issue… the Manager has decided to buy us a little, cheese and charcuterie, but very low quality… and the problem was not the: it s was waste and d disrespect. But above all he was asking for €100 for the door of the fridge libi! Nice joke! For a simple plastic piece that broke because of wear! See the pictures.
By chance we had the chance to meet all the building owner who lives in front of the apartment hostel. She speaks french because she worked for 12 years on Paris. Very kind, congratulating us for our behavior (music 3 nights on the 7, down after 10 pm, off a midnight and everyone was lying). She called the owner to come the next day. It was reported all violations and she fell from the clouds… very nice she wanted to invite us and put has provision, his machine wash! But we're 38 so we politely refused.
You will understand, I do not at all recommend this hostel because there are lies and meanness, do not be fooled by this scammer Manager…
