The hotel staff from the reception to concierge are very friendly and accomodating, but when it comes to the kitchen staff, most of them aren't amiable, not smiling, and not accomodating, just because we're filipinos asking them something small like pieces of sugar, they become grumpy and says "if you ask more we will charge it already". Last night we borrowed some small plates and fork for the cake we ordered in Kermit, during lunch we even shared half of our cake to them, and amazingly these people doesn't treat you like human, doesn't have the heart, they're like robots who operate and reasons oit it's the management. Ny niece borrowed small plates and small fork last night, they ask my niece to pay for the borrowed plates and forks, but my niece bargain not to let her pay with the plates since we're only borrowing them, so they only charge for the fork. We don't mind paying the amount, but these girls in the kitchen area, they need to be educated how to speak in a nice way specially to customers, they are in a hospitality industry, the way they talk, the tone of the way they deliver their message is so racist, if they were speaking to foreigners they would be very friendly and smiling i'm sure, but because we're just filipinos they become grumpy and shows too much attitude, as if they were so busy having so much guest, their food isn't even tasty🤢, and worst of all they have a very small servings.

Highly recommended resort in Bantayan! Well-maintained amenities, clean and relaxing beach front, and friendly staff. Room is also clean with decent bathroom. So satisfied and happy staying here for 3nights. Plus their breakfast is soo good, most of the food in the menu actually. 👌🏻 Have visited some resorts in Bantayan who have higher room rates, but I’d still choose Anika if I will be going back there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Resort — staffs were very hospitable and accommodating to our needs — they provide unli drinking water, just bring your bottle and unli refill of water — The place were very secure and safe — 2 Lifeguard was very attentive and cheerful — No deposit required upon check in — The pool was clean and nice, lingaw kaayo ang mga kids and init lang ang water neg gabie — The driver also was very accommodating to our request — Not crowded, peaceful, has a nice view and clear crystal beach — Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Anika, its our first time to also in Bantayan and won’t regret that we booked at Anika Room We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights from Monday to Wednesday with kids. We chose the Annex Room. The good side are: — complete toiletries, they provide local brand for shampoo which is good, I forgot the name basta its organic — Clean sheets — Aircon is ok lang, they use non inverter window type pa — With mini ref and safety box Downside: — no signal in the Annex Area rooms, which was the comment also of the people who booked the annex room next to us. Lisod e text and e use data, need paka mo gawas to get signal which was very hassle — TV was useless cos no signal in the room, mo karat karat cos way ma get na signal, not android TV also. Better to bring USB or HD if your kids want to watch TV — Dusty ang luyo sa area sa TV — No Wi-Fi in the room — The veranda of the annex room was very malamok.

We always look forward to staying at Anika Island Resort whenever we're at Bantayan. They have customer-friendly staff, to the point that all our requests were granted. We were so thankful to the guard on duty because he offered Anika's free shuttle ride when we were to transfer to another resort. They also serve good food at the resto. Rooms are affordable, just right for it's size. The only downside is the signal — whether Wi-Fi or cellular, it is not available inside the room. You have to be outside the room or at the resto to have Wi-Fi. Nawala din yung complimentary drinks nila. : (

I had the chance to spend my birthday vacation to Anika Island Resort last Jan. 30 to Feb. 2, 2022. I had a great vacation which I really enjoyed my stay. The amenities are superb, resort & room was very clean, delicious food, friendly staff, spacious room and a place you need for relaxation. Thank you for the birthday surprised with cake and a birthday songs. Thank you to all the staff and to Sir Anthony, I appreciated. ‘Til my next visit Anika Island Resort. Daghang Salamat. Clean crisp linens and bath towels! These are hard to come by in an island resort but Anika has kept their standards high. There are quiet a few good choices in the resto menu too. Management and staff are friendly & accommodating as always!

Any resort can have great amenities but only few have great customer service. I am glad that Anika has that customer service that is proactive, friendly, fast and accommodating. Thank you to all staff who made our stay hassle free and fun. The food was also amazing. The room was unique. The resort's overall ambiance was peaceful and conducive to relaxation. The pool was huge enough to accomodate the guests. In totality, my Anika experience was amazing. Truly a commendable resort. More power, Anika!

Clean and beautiful rooms, large serving of food in the restaurant, courteous and accommodating staff. Hoping that breakfast would be included in their package. A fast and stable internet connection would greatly be appreciated.

It was a great stay. We really enjoyed the resort. The staffs are friendly. We did not even have to wait for 2pm to check in, probably because we have our baby with us and they were kind enough to let us in and rest already. On our last day we decided to have a breakfast in their restaurant before we leave but the menu we were looking is not available yet cause they are still serving breakfast. And they said it will be available after 10am so we went back to our room but after few minutes a staff came to our room saying our order is already ready and it was just like half past 8 I guess. That was thoughtful though. 😊 the only negative side of our stay were just the mosquitoes luckily I was prepared and brought lots of mosquito repellent and patch cause I read some reviews before we travel and also the poor internet connection. But it was a good stay. 👍🏻

Found a great place to stay while the dad had his medical mission.
We had a wonderful relaxing 3-day stay plus my toddler really had fun! Family friendly indeed! Food was good plus the owner happend to be there too and gave Onzo an ice cream! What a treat! ☺️
… and Staff were all friendly!
Haven’t tried the super clear water of their pool yet, prolly next visit.

All staff are good and kindhearted sobra but it has something on the management that for sure you cannot feel satisfaction… but the area was so nice all rooms are pretty decent and cozy …

Clean, reasonable rates and perfect location. However some websites tag them as pet-friendly but they are not. Had to leave our pets at home for this trip. But all in all, we had a good time at this place. Really great view of the sunrise too.

Nice place for family outings. We were there last July 20, 2019. It was perfect weather. We really had fun. The rooms was very okay though the air condition was a bit noisy and no Wi-Fi. It was not crowded at all, maybe because it wasn't peak season. It's not far away from Sta. Fe market place. We had fun listening to local bands as well while eating dinner.

All in all, the place is great! Good rooms, good ocean view. Things to improve on: housekeeping is not regular. Not even for the outdoor sitting area. Plenty of mosquitoes even during the day. The resort should fumigate and provide electric mosquito repellants. No intercoms to call front desk or restaurant. Room service has 20% service charge if delivered. 5% if picked up from the resto. At the very least, pick up should have no service charge.

First night here so far so good. Very quiet place. Bring mosquito repellant!

Great resort with great accommodations and people. Good food and very clean rooms! Im both impressed and amazed how this place treat guest when they meet them. Definitely one of the best places to spend your vacation!

Great hotel, amazing beach and view on the sea. The hotel itself if also beautiful but what I do not like is the restaurant — they automatically charge you 5% extra fee (like the tip) or 20% when you want them to bring it to your room. I would like to give them some tips, but charging somethinf immediately is not OK for me. Rest is alright, the stuff here seems to be friendly and the prices per night are ok. And I forgot, we have got plenty of ants in our room which was not that comfortable… but at least they have working shower and you can also set the warmth you want!

The resort is made of recovered and transformed containers. Where containers are comfortable and provide all the necessary equipment of a modern hotel while choosing an ecological response to modern times consumerism, they unfortunately lack a little bit of natural light. The beach is the big Plus. A little too close to the main harbor of arrival but still provides amazing view and more than enough space for every customer.

Shout out to the girl we called Ate Anika since we were not ae to get her name. We are also not sure if she is the owner or the manager. But, she is so kind and accomodating. We went to the resort initially for walk in swimming since we only plan for a day tour in Bantayan. We were initially advice that entrance fee is 500php. So, we just decided to have lunch. To our surprise, Ate Anika gave us a 50% discount for the entrance fee. We were able to use pool facilities for only 250php. Towels were provided and our things were securely left in their waiting room. Food-related we ordered, spicy garlic, calamari and sweet sour fish. We had Korean Bingsu as well. All for 1330. Food is soo amazing.

I love the place, it was stunning. Very relaxing with the white powdery sand and the clean water. It was so good to relax at the shore. They also have a swimming pool where you can enjoy after hitting the beach :) The room was clean and nice. They have a table outside where you can standby or if you wanna eat your meal. I like the bathroom (wish they had a hot water though, ours wasn't working). Plus, the staff/ personnel at the resort are very friendly and will greet you everytime they see you :) And oh there's a free shuttle which is good cause you don't need to rent a tricyle going from and to the port. I definitely recommend the place :)

The only resort with a decent pool, maybe crowded but the best in town as of 2018. They have restaurant that by far the exceeded our expectations when it comes to service not to mention that they taste surprisingly delicious. A bit far from the cluster of beach front resort but would recommend this as the first option.

Maganda ang beach. Mahal ang Rooms (container van converted to rooms) mahal ang foods sa restaurant. Pag local tourist from Manila. Hirap sila ngumiti! Pag foreigner, good service sila!

Anika Island Resort is wonderfully amazing! Can’t wait to go back! The staff is superb and you’ll be treated by Chef Ellaine, resort manager/executive chef like family, the food is super fresh and the taste? to-die for! Fresh out-of-the-sea-catch-of-the-day perfectly cooked seafood and fork-tender melt-in-your-mouth meat dishes are a staple on your table. The facilities is more than adequate and the beach front? A piece of heaven on earth! Don’t just take my word for it! Go and sample it yourself!

This is a beautiful resort spotless clean and they cater for everything. The resort has a pool and also little cottages facing the beach which have breath taking views of the beach and surrounding. The hotel will pick you up from the pier once you let them know your arrival time which is great and the resort is just a few minutes away. Restaurant is big plenty of space can get quite full menu is ok nothing spectacular they stop food at 10pm but really after 9 you won't get served food … everywhere seems to close early so it's a very relaxed and quite place. Very family friendly plenty of children and they have a little play area also Staff are super helpful, pleasant and welcoming. I only wish I had stayed longer.

This is one of the nicest hotel resorts in Sta. Fe. It is just a few hundred meters from the port, so if you are booked there, there is no problem getting to the resort. The beach sand is naturally white and very fine as Sta Fe is known for that. Their rooms are very creative. It is made of container vans and it is very well designed inside. Their pool is nice. It is just the right size if you have children. The food is good and the beer is very affordable!

Awesome resort made from containers! Love the pool it’s perfect when you have little kids coz it’s got a big area that that’s Shallow enough for them to reach bottom. Must be one of the cleanest restaurants on the island with zero flies and the food was really good. Really enjoyed our stay but can’t come back anytime soon as the seem fully booked for a few months.

Best beach area, no doubt! But, they have something nice in their kitchen too — — — their Halo-Halo is so creamy and with lots of ingredients. The shaved ice is very fine too! Not too sweet, just perfect. The seafood pizza has fresh ingredients — — scallops (not shellfish), squip, fresh shrimps, all on tbin crust. Must try!

Anika is one of the best places I have ever been. It is near to the beach and very relaxing. I assure you will get quality service and stay while you are here. Anika is also accessible with other beaches. If you want to stroll or visit other resorts, you can walk through the long beach. Come and experience!

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't the staff. The receptionist was completely unprofessional. When we approached to her, she didn't even bother to look at us to answer our questions. Rather arrogant. I have been staying in hostels for my travel and thought about giving it a change by staying at a resort. But to be honest, the staff at the hostels I've been staying with are way more helpful and professional than the receptionist in Anika. Other than the staff, the facilities are alright. The guard will note down your room number and which tricycle driver you'd be riding with down every time you go out. It's quite nice to be fair!

Place and rooms are nice. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is good but not that awesome. Not complaining. There's no store nearby and their snack choices are not much and the restaurant closes at 9pm so I suggest you bring snacks with you or you can go to the town which is 10mins ride in tricycle. There's many food options there and stores. Anika is a good place if you want peace and relaxation. Because the other side of Sta. Fe is the crowded one but if you want to go there and enjoy the crowd, it's just a few minutes ride. When we went to Anika, the beach is not that nice since it was low tide most of the time during the day. Again, if you want better beach which is at the other side, it's a few minutes ride. I enjoyed our stay here. :)

Good clean & tidy hotel with a pool located on a nice beach. Reasonable restaurant.

We had breakfast today. Service was slow. No danggit and replace with pusit which was over cooked. One of the orders was delivered late. It was ready but just sitting on the counter. Asked for the bill when I pass them from the wash room. Well they forgot about it also. They were more attentive to the yaya with the baby. Anyways, I enjoyed their food before. Now no more.

Just a few minutes away from Sta. Fe port. Their cottages/container van units are well kept but yet not pricey. The beach front is beautiful!

One of the best places to relax. The beach has a calming effect and the water is perfect for dipping. There is also a huge pool if you prefer swimming in fresh water instead. The restaurant serves good food. Affordable seafood and I like the mango shakes here.

Cozy place! Good for social or Media activities due to it’s awesome views. Staffs are friendly. Many TV show activities held at this place. For sure you will have a good time by staying here.

Stayed here w/ my bf for 3D2N. We both love the place & the ambiance. Room is so clean & has it's own spacious veranda. We only ordered few meals in their cafe coz it's a bit pricey but it's worth it! Serving size is daghan. Makabusog na, cravings satified pa! Kudos sa chef! The staffs were so friendly, the service was good. They were able to accommodate us though we had last minute reservation. I highly recommend this place if you want to come and visit Bantayan Island!

Great resort. Modern pool. But no liquor served when I was there, only beer.

I did find the check in time strange, however they have a pretty hospitable lounges where you can sleep. Easily accessible from the port and well maintained beach front.

Scenic view and excellent service! The staff in the resort were very accommodating and are very consistent. Every staff will greet you every time they come acrosa you which is a testament om how they value their customers. Food is great and is served in a timely manner. The room we were given was clean and very comfortable to be in although the channels in their cable TV is a little limited. All in all our 2 nights there was well-spent and we enjoyed every moment of our stay!

Loved this island and resort. Relaxation is real. Food 5/5. Location 5/5. Service 5/5. Even though this place did not have a buffet breakfast there food was definitely on point. Very traditional Filipino food. I do wish that they had a bigger selection of liquor. All they had was beer.

The beach is so clean! near the shore is a shallow reef where sea shells, fish, and other sea animals thrive. At sunset, you can watch the local kids play football on sandbars as the tide lowers. the trailer rooms are spaced adequately. Local transpo is easily accessible from the back gate of the resort. resort food is just ok.

Beach was nice. Hotel service is ok. Fisherman usually get to shore in the morning. You can buy fish and shellfish from them and they can cook it for you with a little fee.

It was our first time in Bantayan Island so we have not tried other resort in the area to compare to, but Anika Island Resort was an overall great experience. Courteous staff and very helpful. They picked us up from the port when we arrived and dropped us back to the port when we left. Staffs never fail to greet you accompanied with a bow and a smile to show their respect to guests. Room was clean and kind of unique. Well-maintained as well. Restaurant has limited options when it comes to the menu. They did prepared us lunch packs though that we can bring to Virgin Island since the price there are ridiculously high. They also arranged our travel to the island. They also offer laundry service which is helpful if you bring limited set of clothes Overall, it was a great experience. And I surely recommend this place to everyone planning to visit Santa Fe.

Very close to the Bantayan Island port… Nice and very clean though rooms can be a bit tight.

Great place to relax and and enjoy the beach.

Too many hang-ups. The food took such a long time to arrive and the staff were just talking to each other. The front desk was not customer friendly and we even had to go to them multiple times just to get our room coz they allowed the guests staying there to extend over check out time. Luckily the room was good enough though the towels were worn out already even to a point where the ends were already ripped. The cable TV didnt work because the front desk said they knew about the problem and nothing else.

Nice place the beach is great clean and tranquil, staff are helpful but don't expect the food to be super.
