Good for people who are looking for a cheap hotel stay in el nido. Rooms are nice and clean. They offer free breakfast. Staffs are accommodating.

Terrible stanched, muggy smelly bathroom. Staff were loud and inconsiderate of resting customers. Not worth the price at all even on a low season.

Good to stay. Beach is just front yard of this lodge! dining place outside is awesome to view beach and mountain.

Location of the hotel is good. It is near the seaside and center. The rooms aren't so small. The rooms must be cleaned better and there are ants, bugs and flies. They should insecticide the room. There was no safe box in my rooms but my friend's room had one. I had to take all my valuable things with me whşle going to island tours. The air-condition is working loudly and the filter must be cleaned or changed. The bathroom don't have tube or separete shower, when you get shower, all bathroom is getting wet. There is bidet. When you check in they give you water for once and the other days you have to buy. People coming to El Nido is generally joining to island tours and turning back to hotel with wet shirts, towels, swimsuits and aquashoes, there is no place in hotel for guests to hang them for getting dry. In rooms it is impossible to dry something. The breakfast isn't open buffet. You have make a selection from a very limited menu. The worst thing is they don't serve water in the breakfast. You have drink very sweet ice tea which isn't cold or drink very bad coffee and tea. If they don't improve themselves, this hotel doesn't deserve the money you pay even it has a good location. You can find better options maybe lower prices.

Very bad experience with this hotel. We had planned 6 nights in this hotel but on the 3rd we went. The room they gave us (which was more expensive because it had a sea view) was extremely noisy, to the side of the kitchen, and in the morning the sonajera of dishes and drinks it was like to be sleeping in the kitchen. The bed had a mattress of 10 cm, which amanecíamos sore. The Wifi only connects in 2 floors and in addition does not lower anything. Never could connect to anything. We open the faucet of the sink and flooded the entire bath, apart from a smell of sewage constantly in the bathroom. The attention of the people at the front desk was always rude and didn't offer any information. When we went to claim, ask to speak with the manager and we was told that the manager was not in The Nest. When we went (3 days before) we asked for a refund of the days that we were not going to occupy and did not want us to return the money.

Considering price it was honest.

It was okay. The bathroom is a bit small and can be cleaned more. But overall nice place to stay.

Walking distance to beach front.

The hotel is already three years old and still looks new. The Lady Receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. They love to engage guests to little chats and conversations. The gentlemen Housekeeping attendants were very friendly, as well. They made sure that the room was not only properly cleaned but toiletries and amenities were replenished and well supplied. They all have wonderful personalities and infectious sense of humor. The air conditioned room was basic and the decor was simple but very comfortable — queen size bed, cable TV, telephone, internet connection, toilet and shower and a little veranda. On the first two days, the Wi-Fi connection was strong. However, as soon as they changed the password on the third day, internet connection drastically became slow and did not work properly, which was a bummer. The breakfast choices were varied and tempting. I enjoyed this time spent on the hotel every morning — enjoying breakfast and coffee on the rooftop bar/resto overlooking the ocean watching boatmen prepare their bancas for the day's tours and activities. The hotel is situated right in the heart of town and is only walking distance to every restaurants and stores. I had the most relaxing time in this hotel and I would gladly recommend it to anybody who wants. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

RUDE STAFF — The receptionists are ALWAYS BUSY with their mobile phones. They are also slightly unpresentable. Though they're wearing the hotel's uniform, they are only wearing flip flops. They eat snacks at the counter and at the lobby while mugging their faces into their cellphones. Also, they do not know how to respond and how to react at a critical situation. They do not even know how to apologize. They are not very accommodating at all. DISCRIMINATION AMONG "KABABAYANS" — Upon our arrival, we were not entertained by them, not only until I approached the counter. They were just busy, of course, with their cellphones. Maybe because we're young (22 years old) and FILIPINOS. But when foreigners with huge luggages arrived, they enthusiastically welcomed them with smiles on their faces. (No hate to all foreigners out there. This was purely based on observation). NO LOUNGE FOR GUESTS — The hotel couldn't afford to offer us a nice place to stay when we arrived earlier than the check in time. We were just sitting at the lobby, dripping sweats on our faces for we were sharing the same electric fan with the receptionists. But we managed not to bother it because we were tired, until we fell asleep. Only then I realized that we look stupid sleeping at a hotel's lobby, while the receptionists are just eating and mugging on their cellphones.

We stayed here during our trip to El Nido and we had a great stay. The room was clean, and the location was awesome as it was close to attractions and the beach. The bathroom was outdated and had no separation between the shower and the rest of the space so the floor of the bathroom was very wet after every shower. Our view off the alcony was overlooking a house or business behind the hotel which felt somewhat invasive as people could see in our room. The staff were very friendly.

One of the better places to stay in El Nido, they have one of the best boats for tours when you book with them. Like other have mentioned tours are done right from the front of the hotel. Extremely easy walk to the ferry to Coron.

Their family room's bathroom smells. Smell like sewer. Aircon cannot be adjusted. During our stay, there were drips from ceiling while it was raining considering that we are on the ground floor. : (

Good location but not a soundproof hotel… we could hear everything from the next room to the dogs barking from 3 blocks down. View from the breakfast area however was fantastic!

Not worth it, never comeback in this hotel. Never.

It is always difficult to find a good hotel in el nido for a reasonnable price but this one is definetly the worst. Untrained staff arrongant ineficient. I booked directly at the reception one day before check in ans the receptionist asked for full payment (2 nights) ans insisted on the fact that it was not refundable. When we went there for check in the day after they already gave the room to someone else and wanted to refund us after more than one hour they finally found us another hotel for one night of course the day after between check out and check in I have no room. Rooms are horrible avoid this place I only give one star because it is not possible to put zero.

The lodge is just a few steps away from the beach which I enjoyed very much. The room is clean, approachable and friendly staff. Very accessible to nice restaurant and shops.
